Gorgeous design, lots of greenery, nice pool, incredibly comfy bed, amazing breakfast, kind staff. We had a really good stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

The listing on booking.com suggested there was an airport shuttle service, which there is not. Ended up not being a big deal as a public bus to the airport is just 10 mins walk away from the hotel, but this was disappointing as one of the reasons I booked this place. I also wasn't aware before arrival that a significant section of the hotel's outdoor area was closed (for the season? for maintenance?) I'm not sure. The remaining outdoor pool area was still lovely and sufficient, but it was a shame to see the closed area and not have been informed that some of what is in the photos seen while booking was not accessible.

The facilities were great, our room was close to the pool area. We were on the half board stay and the breakfast and dinner were great. Very beautiful gym with a beautiful view to the beach. Many sitting areas with a beach view.

For dinner, which was included in the half board menu, they charged us for the water And the waiters at dinner were not very friendly, they did not speak English very well and when we asked for things they ignored our requests or wouldn’t come to our table purposely

I would highly recommend upgrading to the preferred rooms. The suites were spacious and clean and we had our own terrace. They are probably 2-3X bigger than the standard rooms. The preferred lounge has a variety of canapés and drinks all for free which is awesome. The hotel in general is beautiful. Great breakfast - lots of options. Location great - 10min taxi from everywhere, near to a lot of supermarkets and shops. The hotel provided a room for us to freshen up before we had access to our rooms. We also had a chance to freshen up before we left. We had access to the preferred lounge and pool after we checked out too, as our flight was an evening flight.

It would have been nice to have vegetarian sausages at breakfast or better labelling of which products are vegetarian, as I picked up meat products by accident sometimes. Sometimes the bag of food / litter in our room was not cleaned away. The bed was made and the floor was cleaned though. There wasn’t always a member of staff at the preferred reception.

I’ve stayed in the room 819. It was very noisy, cause it’s situated near some generators I suppose and you will hear this sound almost all day.. also I woke up every morning at 6.50 because of the noise from the restaurant (

Gorgeous hotel with all the amenities you may need or more. We booked Preferred Club with half board and that was more than enough to sustain us throughout the day. The breakfast was perfect, lunch and dinner are good, too. Different musicians every night, delicious cocktails and stunning views. Friendly and helpful staff, we wanted for nothing. Muchos Gracias!

The pictures make it look like there‘s a second pool right by the sea. That pool is currently under construction, so there‘s only the main pool (which is still big enough for all guests), but there is some construction noise throughout the day. We weren‘t bothered by it but may be good to note.

We upgraded to the preferred club and also to a Junior Suite at arrival. +) The hotel is nicely set up with plants everywhere you look. Free refreshments and fruits in the lobby area, welcome drink at reception +) The pool area is nice especially with all the surrounding plants and palms like a botanical garden. +) Activities: plenty of things to do like joining sport classes (Yoga, Pilates, etc.) without extra costs, sports area super cool outdoors, table tennis and Billard, bookshelfs, beaches in walking distance +) Location: central and good food and shopping in walking distance, perfect sunset view +) Hotel room (upgrade): very clean and nice. Cosy beds. Daily refilling of products from Rituals (don't know if non-preferred club members got the same brand) and everything you need provided (sunscreen, after sun, slippers, robe, bag, body lotions, care products, etc). The junior suite was very nice, big, smart tv, fruits and refreshment available with welcome champagne +) Hotel app: every info easily accessible incl. Restaurant reservations. +) Service in general: staff very friendly, they even make rounds in the afternoon (also outside the exclusive areas) and provide fruits on sticks to everyone +) Upgrade to preferred club: We are happy to have upgraded to the preferred club because the normal pool areas were overcrowded for our taste considering side season (end of April/ beginning of May) and the exclusive areas were not. We liked the Bali beds which gave shade and a great view to the sunset and which you could also get if you come way after breakfast. The service was excellent at the sunset bar, snack bar (preferred club only incl. own breakfast area) and also everywhere else. We loved the breakfast at the exclusive area as it contained a good variety of healthy foods (e.g. freshly pressed orange juice and smoothies of the day, big fruits buffet incl.

-) Pool area: it should be forbidden to reserve spots at the pool the whole day without ever showing up. It was impossible to get free two spots next to each after breakfast while only 10% of actual guests were present at the pool area - and this already during side season (April/May). -) Parking situation: it is not really possible to park anywhere close by as we thought before. It was one reason we upgraded as the parking would have been 15€ per day and is included in the upgrade. Parking spot was good and I would recommend it. However, it should also be mentioned that you can not easily unload your car as there is not enough space unless you enter the paid parking area.

Pool is fantastic.. waterfalls unique feature... Breakfast buffet is fantastic! 25EURO Evening Buffet is amazing! And good flexible option to enable eating out some nights and staying in hotel others. If stay in hotel the SunSet bar overlooking harbour and bay is amazing ...

The bar felt like it was hidden away from main pool area.. maybe move bar to be down nearer main pool area... The Evening Buffet was excellent however one area for improvement would be to offer Salad during the evening - I couldn't find it first evening and then I did find it next morning at breakfast ? Que? Why would Salad be served during Breakfast ? :-)

Let's go to the acknowledgments: 1) To all the chefs behind the scenes, those we cannot see but who are behind the scenes preparing everything with love, excellence and joy. 2) To all the dear pool boys who always served us with joy and a smile on their faces, promptness and affection. 3) To Mr. Pedro – Wokman who first made me eat with my eyes and then delight in the dish he made for me and my daughter with so much dedication and love. It made the difference for me that night, the one before I left. 4) To Mr. Mohamed Oubaaous who was always kind, serving the tables, carrying those trays of glasses and heavy glasses but never failed to pass by us without forgetting to smile. 5) Mrs. Patrícia Costa da Tratoria who, with her subtlety, serves us with dedication and a beautiful smile, especially in her eyes. 6) Mr. Oscar and the people in the VIP area. Only one incident I didn't like was that, one night we arrived at 10pm for dinner, after an afternoon boating and the boat returned very late. Until we showered and got ready we didn't know the closing time, a gentleman in an all black uniform, short and gray hair practically threw us out of the restaurant. I already had the plate in my hand and had to return it even embarrassed. I know it was out of schedule but they still had tables with people and I don't think it would be any work and I had to go out on the street, with a 12 year old child and two teenagers looking for something to eat but whatever. I appreciate Candy's kindness and dedication in accommodating us after a mistake in booking the room that would be for 3 adults and a child, when we arrived there were only 3 adults and she very attentively helped us. It was a special moment with my children, magical and very happy. I thank everyone for making a difference in our stay, I apologize for not knowing everyone's name but everyone is important at work, everyone gives their best and we see that in everyone.
