Very clean and fully functional

Found Olga receptionist on our arrival and throughout stay quite rude and unfriendly I wanted to see room before I pay€1644 for my stay -she didn’t like this and said if you don’t like you have no option as we are full !-rude !-and replied I can get another hotel !-also asked for assistance regarding bus -not friendly because of arrival situation -bar and breakfast staff outstanding

Breakfast excellent apart from juices which were dispensed from a machine. The orange juice was not good, everything else was great. Loved the pool area, beautiful gardens and rear entrance.

Room was beautifully decorated very clean & spacious. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices for everyone and a lovely additional touch was a glass of cava in the morning if you wished. Pool area was clean and well maintained ,bar food was lovely and the staff always friendly.

Room was spacious and cleaned/made up every day, and air con was effective and quiet in the room. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice, although it starting at 8 felt a little late to me, especially when we had to leave earlier on a couple days for trips etc. Staff were great, especially when I had to call the hotel to inform them we wouldn't be arriving until the next day due to our flight being diverted and rescheduled. Good location, never had any issues getting a bed by the pool although we weren't there during a peak period. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere.

The only negative was we had a room that seemed to let in a fair amount of noise but not from other guests. I presume there is a bar or club nearby that has singers or karaoke and at risk of sounding like a bore a couple nights when we were back in our room early having to listen to a rendition of My Heart Will Go On meant I either had to turn the TV on fairly loud or look for earplugs to drown out the noise. I'm aware this is no fault of the hotel as such and the singing didn't go past 11pm and wasn't every night but I was a little surprised at how loud and clear I could hear everything.

I contacted the hotel ahead of our arrival with a special request which they were able to provide and that was amazing. The staff are really friendly and professional and we received a warm welcome and a glass of cava on arrival. The hotel is lovely with a decent size pool and pool bar serving lunch and drinks throughout the day. Our apartment was a great size with a large bedroom and bathroom (hairdryer provided) plus a lounge/kitchen area with a microwave, hob, oven, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Washing up liquid, cloth and t-towel were provided. We also had a lovely large balcony overlooking the inner atrium of the hotel. The balcony had 2 sun loungers plus a table and chairs. There was a large TV in the lounge area with several English channels including BBC 1 and 2 and ITV. We had a daily clean and towel change. The breakfast option was great with ‘cooked to order’ egg options, the usual bacon, sausage etc, plus yoghurts, cereals, salad, lots of fruit, cold meats, cheeses, bread and cakes. Everything was replenished regularly and was fresh and tasty. Pool towels are provided free of charge. Free safety deposit box in the apartment too. ATM in the foyer which was really handy. The hotel is in a great location if you like lively bars etc. You go out the back gate and down steps/escalators to the port, beach, bars and restaurants. If you go out the front entrance there are lots of bars and restaurants in both directions. We had a free taxi from the airport via Booking.Com which was brilliant and the process went very smoothly.

If we were planning to cook there were no cooking utensils in our apartment such as a spatula, spoon etc. There was just one pan, a glass oven dish and one oven dish but the oven itself had no shelves. The staff are so accommodating though, I’m sure these would have been provided if we asked. There was the usual reserving of beds every day which was really annoying. Some days whole rows of sun beds had towels on them yet people didn’t turn up until after lunch. I think this should be better monitored by the pool team. No fault of the hotel but it’s very close to local bars and from around 2 in the afternoon there was extremely loud music/singing. This could be a bit intrusive if we were trying to chill on the balcony. The other end of the resort is much quieter.

Staff were lovely & acted very quickly when the boiler broke & flooded the kitchen! Maintenance were there very quickly & sorted it out.

Unfortunately we hadn't realised the area was so built up & noisy.

Location, room size/facilities and the pool area! We never struggled to get a sun lounger in prime location and to have a sea view at the pool and at breakfast was perfection! People talk about huge hills to the hotel but you don’t have that struggle with Flamingo due to its prime central location. Rooms were cleaned every day!

Breakfast had plenty of variety but the egg options (scrambled or Omelettes) just tasted of milk and were inedible! Beds were quite hard but pillows were lovely - i do believe you can ask for a mattress topper but thats not something we explored.

Hotel is great , breakfast good, location good. Great value for money. Rooms cleaned towels changed daily. Rooms spaceous with terraces

Pool quite small. Kids weren’t allowed inflatable rings in pool. Coffee machines and drinks machines weren’t set up correctly… juice too strong coffee very bitter.. so water or tea with breakfast most mornings. Pool bar a bit disorganised, inexperienced staff mixing up lunch orders and a bit of waiting around trying to order drinks/icecreams.

The apartment was lovely, very spacious and welcoming with comfortable beds. A delicious breakfast and beautiful pool area with very friendly staff at reception.

More umbrellas by the pool area would be a bonus as we often had to leave the pool area due to the scorching sun. The cleaning of the room was very rudimentary, the cleaning staff never washed our cups/glasses if we forgot them in the basin, and since we were on holiday we were hoping to be lazy and not have to do it. The cleaning staff also never swept under the beds and the floor was only partially swept as some debris which was there on our arrival was still there when we left. But these are small complaints as the rest of the apartment and other facilities were amazing.

The facilities were excellent, the pool and surrounding area was beautiful. Our apartment was exactly what we were looking for, clean, spacious, magnificent view with its own small garden and modern. We found the location to be perfect for our stay - close by to shops and a gate directly down to the beach. It also was not a far walk down to other beaches that were slightly less busy (the one near the hotel has a small port). The staff were friendly and accommodating - they let us use the pool and facilities after checking out as our flight back was later on in the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, especially to those who want their own small apartment/space whilst still being part of a hotel. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay!

Although our stay was amazing, the hotel is nearby to a bar which had loud music playing during the evening. This was fine for us as we were generally out during the evening and did not have early nights. However, those with small children or those who like going to bed earlier, would possibly be disturbed by the noise.
