loved the clean modern rooms and the availability of filtered water and ice in room area. pool staff were excellent and lifeguard very helpful. shower was excellent and bed was comfortable.

the noise from the street at 2.30am on some nights woke me up. food outlet across the road. the air conditioning was poor and did not cool the room down. couldn’t have window open at night due to noise outside so was very warm at times.

This was one of the best hotels we’ve been so far! Staff is amazing and helpful. There was variety of breakfast/dinner options (we had half board but I’m sure lunch was good as well). Hotel is part of the “wave of change” and very sustainability, eco-oriented - providing unlimited filtered water in hallways to be filled in the glass bottles. Swimming pool area is spacious and has enough sun beds and nice restaurant for afternoon snacks/drinks. SPA area is highly recommended for massages or facial treatments. Beach is nearby hotel, 5 min walk. Highly recommended is boat excursion Volcanocean that can be scheduled directly from the hotel - we saw whales, dolphins and one turtle, it was amazing experience. Recommendation to visit El Teide volcano.

No drinks are included for dinner, not even water, it is 2.95 EUR for bottle of filtered water which basically comes from the same filter you can use for free, so I really do not understand that policy. Hotel should reconsider to give water for free for dinner.

The exceptional attention to guests demonstrates the high level of training they receive. The hotel provides relaxation with lots of tiny touches that add to the wonderful experience there.

There was only 1 issue which the staff did their best to rectify and that was in the upgrade Prestige there were a lot of guests who put towels on loungers and then disappeared for the whole morning. It would provide a better service if they were to remove the towels after 2 hours.

amazing design and interior - beds are beyond comfortable - service and staff from cleaners to bar staff to management are so friendly and can’t do enough to make your stay perfect! high quality in every which way!

the usual hotel culture of ‘people reserving sun beds at 7am and not using them’ needs to be addressed

Greeted on arrival with a complimentary drink which was nice. We chose to have a few more drinks whilst we waited to check-in. Luis behind the bar was very friendly! Breakfast was nice with a vast selection of food items, fresh juices and hot drinks. Food around the pool bar was nice but quite expensive. Diego served us and was very friendly and chatty! Room was cleaned each day was beautiful.

The shower leaked into the small corridor to the room each time despite our best efforts to ensure the shower door was closed. We ended up putting our towels on the floor as it was completely soaked! Some guests get up early in the morning to put towels on sunbeams and reserve them for the day. This was frustrating on the days we chose to go out to explore in the morning and come back to the hotel in the afternoon as most of the beds were taken.

Everything, with one relatively minor concern about the temperature of some food dishes.

Whilst the food selection and service were of a 5 star standard, unfortunately, a lot of the food was not maintained at a hot enough temperature.

This hotel is a well deserved 5*. It's our first experience with Iberostar but we are definitely adding it to our list of top hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is not perfectly new but it is well cared of. It has everything needed to stay there the whole week without the need of going anywhere. The room was very well equipped, including the iron board, coffee and tea makers, hair or clothes dryers, balcony. Initially we were concerned that we need a walk to get to the beach but after one day we have realized that we don't need it at all. We felt way more comfortable at the pool where we had access to the bar, showers and free sunbeds with towels. And the capacity was enough for everybody staying in the hotel. The pool itself is a masterpiece! It is designed in the way to make you relax and make sure everyone fits in without feeling crowdy. It's mainly shallow so you can lay down in the water and relax. There are also places for a swim if you like it. The hotel offers a wide range of entertainment like life music, aquafit or shows. It offers also great buffet breakfasts with an impressive choice of whatever you have the taste for. What is important to mention is the truly outstanding personnel who made the best to make our holidays pleasant. We were well entertained and every issue or question that we have addressed was solved or answered immediately- be it at the reception, parking lot, restaurant or the pool. The staff is a great combination of professionalism and Spanish hospitality and friendliness.

What could be improved are two details during the breakfast: the scrambled eggs and butter. Scrambled eggs tasted weird, I'm guessing they were made out of powder and not natural eggs. We also missed butter very much. There were two types of margarine available but no butter at all.

Following no holiday for two years we decided to stay for 4 weeks at the Iberostar Sabila in Costa Adeje. To miminise the covid risk we chose a 5 star adults only hotel.. We also upgraded to Star Prestige. This gave us dedicated pool areas on the 6th floor and around the main pool. Also rooms were on the 5th and 6th floors. The star service included an open bar from 10.30 - 6.00pm and snacks. If you can afford it upgrade to Star Prestige. Could not fault the cleanliness the hotel, guest areas were cleaned on a regular basis, including sun beds, tables and walkways. The room was kept spotless. We also had to wear masks in the hotel. Staff also wore masks. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was vast with a wide choice of good quality food. The hotel is in a perfect location for access to the restaurants, shops and beachfront. Overall well recommended and we will return.

The nearby hotels have outside entertainment which can go on until 11.00pm, so if you like an early night or are a light sleeper this could be an issue. There can also be noise in the hotel corridors into the early hours with guests returning to their rooms.We had the evening buffet once, but is quite expensive euro 35. The hot food was luke warm so improvements could be made there.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff and great location, right next to the beach (Torviscas and Fañabe) as well as walking distance to all the busy areas with bars and restaurants. Cool gourmet market with different cuisines on site.

10 EUR per day extra charge for the parking was a turn off right at the check in. It’s not so much the price, as it is the bad first impression it makes right when you walk through the door. They could have easily raised the general prices for 5 EUR per night (if approximately 50% of people come with cars, which is an overestimation), which would go by unnoticed considering the room rates, and offer parking free of charge and avoid bad first impression, because otherwise the hotel is great.

Thought the whole property was absolutely stunning, amazing attention to detail and really enjoyed the breakfast!

I didn’t think the pillows were very comfortable. You were given an option of two types that didn’t go well on top of eachother so couldn’t find much comfort.
