Excellent view overlooking the entrance to the harbour and the Cable Ingles. Clean, comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Good location near shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the historic quarter.

Coffee/tea making facilities would have been welcome, as would a small table on the balcony. Edge of bath recessed into wall making it somewhat difficult and hazardous for the elderly (like me) to get out. A simple grab rail would solve the problem. The floor level display in the (rather old) lift was unreadable.

Younier at reception was super friendly and helpful. The beds were very good for both of us. Breakfast was ample. Excellent coffee. We could not use the pool as the weather was overcast and chilly. The shower had good pressure. Complementary water in room. All tapas bars are within a ten minute walk. We liked the Georgian bar/restaurant opposite the theatre Cervantes. Excellent food and drink at very reasonable prices. The mercado central is also not too far. All in all this hotel is highly recommended and we will come back for another stay.

The staff was really great and pleasant ! The pool didn’t have much seats but that was still a great asset for this hotel ! The bar and the options for snack during the day was really nice too ! The room was awesome with the view of the sea !

Maybe we just didn’t know about it, but we didn’t have the option (when we booked through booking) to have half or full - board !

We loved our room overlooking the pool & out to the sea. We were at the end of a corridor so it was good to have the quietness away from others. The cleaning team left the room immaculate on arrival & were very accommodating throughout our stay. We were happy to be able to leave luggage in a secure room while we waited to check in. The staff in the dining room/bar were excellent

Being made to wait at Reception when more than 1 customer is checking in with only 1 staff member attending. It's a long process to check in. The 'hot' food at the buffet breakfast is not hot - very disappointing.

Stayed here before. The location is excellent, right on the front and just a few minutes walk into the city. Pool is nice and the staff are excellent. Room is good.

Not their fault I suppose but there was an open air rock concert on the other side of the road which started and 3pm and went on to 0230am which meant we got little sleep and were unable to use the balcony. They should have informed us.

Was made to feel welcome and staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel easy to find and we had a lovely view over the Puerto and out to sea , also with a balcony. The hotel was in a great position only a short walk to shops, restaurants etc.

Although we had a large room, we were in-between 2 lift shafts so was a little noisey. Would request a quieter room next time. They said no need to book hotel parking but on arrival had to use a 24 hour carpark at the rear of the hotel as the hotel carpark was full.

A great view from the balcony and excellent location for exploring the city on foot. The Tourist Office was only a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was a bit "quirky" in its lay-out and lacked atmosphere due to it being out of season. Could have done with a larger and clearer map rather than the A4 photocopy available. The breakfast choices were a bit uninspiring.

The hotel was a very good option for a one week holyday with my son. We specially liked: Breakfast, air conditioning (works perfect even without the card installed, very precised with the temperature) the cleanliness and the staff in general.

The beach is not so close, you should do a 5 minutes walk that can be long under the sun, specially when the temperature is 35 Celsius or more.

Very nice location with a nice good breakfast. Close to the city center, to the central bus station and to the beach.

Not so efficient cleaning, the sheets were changed after almost a week. The breakfast at the weekend starts at 8:00 but it would be better to start earlier especially for people that were there for business.

Famous old hotel in Almeria. Very friendly staff. Our room was on the 6 floor overlooking the water and part of the city. Great view! Very elegant bar and restaurant decor. Good size pool. Walking distance to major attractions and restaurants. Would stay here again.

No parking, Had to park at the pier, dragging luggage's through the streets.
