I recently stayed at the Acta Splendid hotel in Barcelona and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, offering easy access to various attractions around the city. What stood out most was the tranquility of the place; despite its central location, the hotel was very quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, providing a comfortable and hygienic environment. But the highlight of my stay was the remarkable staff. The reception staff was not only friendly but also exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The restaurant staff, especially, deserves a special mention. The ladies there were extraordinarily dedicated and focused on providing the best service possible. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence was evident. During breakfast, the variety of food available was impressive. No matter if I arrived early in the morning or for a late breakfast, there was always a wide selection to choose from. This level of motivated and attentive staff is what elevates a hotel experience from good to great. I sincerely wish more hotels would have staff as dedicated as those at Acta Splendid, as it truly makes for a high-level hotel experience. Highly recommended!

Close to metro and Bus lines. You can get to metro "Universidad" in 4 minutes. Bus stop is 80m away from the main entrance. Safe neighbourhood with restaurants and shops at short distance. Helpful, attentive and respectful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. We were given a nice quiet room. Breakfast was good. It included fresh fruits, vegetables, good coffee, eggs, freshly baked products, cereals and many other things. The decoration is very well thought giving a unique atmosphere that allows you to relax after a busy day visiting Barcelona.

The location of the hotel was perfect, near the street La Rambla.

Unfortunately, we stayed in a room with a street view and the noise from the street was unbearable. We hardly slept all four nights.

A charming and cosy hotel. The staff was helpful and made the stay easy. Great breakfast, with a variety of choice. The hotel is situated within a 10-minute walk from La Rambla.

The bathroom in the room definitely needs remodelling. It seems that the room walls are made from cardboard, because they were so extremely thin and you could hear everything that was going on in the corridor. Also, there was no window in the room - or rather there was one, but it went out to the hotel’s corridor. It would be great to have that information included while making the reservation, because I would not have chosen that option, had I known that.

Staff very helpful. Very nice boutique hotel. Amazing breakfasts. Even though we were in the centre of Barcelona, the room was very quiet and we could rest wonderfully. The reception staff were very attentive and helped us a lot with taxis, directions, etc. The luggage room with personal safes is fantastic and we could use it during the day of check-out without any time limit.

The bathroom ceiling was noisy when you closed or opened the door. The crockery in the bathroom was too high even for me, who is 1.80sm tall. The cosmetics mirror was not fixed in the desired position.

The location was close to La Rambla. We could walk to most of the sights we wanted to see or reach there by public transportation, which Metro and bus lines are very close. Lots of places to eat close by. The room was lovely, clean and well appointed. Plenty of space for 3 of us. The staff were only too happy to assist every time we had a question. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in a safe baggage locker room until our room was available.

No big deal but coffee satchels weren’t replaced after day 1, although there was coffee pods available for the Nespresso machine.

The location of the hotel is great, just 2 min walk to the metro and 5min to the bus. There are enough restaurants in the neighbourhood as well. The hotel room was good and clean. The bed was, comfortabel. There are lockers you can use to store your luggage. The staff was friendly and helpful.

If you get a room at the street side, keep in mind that it will get noisy, you can hear the cars and people outside. I did ask if I could change the room, but on the day it self it was fully booked, and I could change the next day but had to first check out and check back in. Also I dont believe I got the room I paid for, the room was quite small for a 2 person room, also there was no bathtub while in the room I booked it was indicated to have a bathtub, but to my surprise there was just a shower.

Breakfast and breakfast personnel was really great. Cleaning personnel also did a great job!

Road noise - single windows. Also no proper curtains to block lights.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The rooms were very clean and the service was excellent. The breakfast was fresh and abundant.

The room we stayed at was rather small, but it was OK, as we spent the whole day sightseeing. The walls were very thin and we had some very noisy neighbours, which was quite unpleasant.

Great location, spacious and nicely decorated room, spotless clean bathroom, very tasty breakfast, friendly staff.
