The reviews were not very good, so I was preparing for the worst, but it turned out to be the opposite. The room is large enough for 2 people and most importantly clean. The location is very good, all the main attractions are not far away, public transport is close, cafes and in general a nice area. I only communicated with the staff online, but they answered my questions quickly and explained everything. There is a virtual key system here, very convenient. The main thing for me was the location, adequate price and cleanliness, I got all this. Perhaps a little expensive, but for Barcelona prices this is not

I read a lot about poor sound insulation and this was confirmed. The audibility is very good, in the mornings some car arrived under the windows and made noise. Also, you may not be lucky with neighbors, as others from the reviews. We had neighbors but they did not give any noise, so we were lucky. The bathroom is small but compact. There was no central heating, only the air conditioner worked, but in principle it was enough. But the floor was very cold, so if you are going to these in the cold season, be sure to take slippers so that your feet do not freeze

The windows and room walls are not sound proof Every night at least once (around 23:00) they empty the dumpsters just under the window. Most of the night they do it a few times and it is impossible to sleep. If you as lucky as we and have young Italians as your neighbours, forget sleeping altogether. Every single word can be heard. Every time they laughed we were jumping in our beds.

Place is in a quiet residential area. Has elevator (however to use only when strictly necessary). Self check-in possibility. Room was clean. Fridge in the room.

Self check-in comes with obligation to have a smart phone connected to internet (which can be a huge downside in case you do not have one).

The room was small, as expected, and very clean. My friend and I enjoyed being able to easily walk to everything we wanted to see. It is at least a 30 minute walk to get to the major tourist attractions in the city, but there are plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants in the area.

everything was very clean, the shared space had a lot of useful stuff you could utilise (they even washed your dishes for you!), the smart key system was very modern and also useful (you didn’t have to worry about your keys since you used your phone to open the doors)

The wardrobe was a bit falling apart but otherwise the room was great and there was a hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. There was noise from outside and from other rooms but if you have earplugs it can be managed.

The communication with the staff was easy, clear, and friendly. The location is good, you can reach the metro in about 5 to 10 minute walk, and touristic areas in about 20 minute walk. The area is also very lively at night but the hotel is in a more residential area were you can find some comfort and some quietness at night. They cleaned our room thoroughly when we asked for it, and there is a common area for you to have some tea, for you to have your own food, relax or play some board games as well.

The isolation for the windows could be better as there were some random noises during the night. The bathroom curtain could be changed to something more sturdy to avoid water spilling out of the shower.

Nice place. Clean. With all you need in private small room. Perfect not expensive place near to center but in quite part of city. 5 minutes to two metro stations. Definitely perfect decision for people who want to discover Barcelona.

All doors opened by app with special pin you can use when it does not work or you have no battery in your cell. But doors from the street have no pin option.

The beds were good, we loved the frigde in the room as well as using the kitchen. The location was good too - we walked to the Guell park as well as to the city centre.

We were basically happy with the room but the walls were really thin - we heard every single word the people next door were speaking. This was not good at all.
