I was in this hotel for a week. Shout out to stuff, for excellent service! Everything was nice, clean room, good wifi. In the nights it was very quiet. Good location, less then hour with a walking to Barcelonette Beach. Also, metro and a bus station is next to the hotel. I enjoy every night here, will recommend this hotel to my friends! P.M. for a tourists, dont go to the supermerkat shops, its very expensive :D. Better go for a 10min walk to Arenas for Mercadona, its a local grocery shop with normal prices. And also right next to a hotel you will have good restaurants.

Hotel Lugano has proved to be a very good surprise, owing to the ample room and bathroom, comfortable bed and cleanness. Despite facing the street, almost no noise could be heard in the room (good sound insulation). Large wardrobe and safe are a plus. There are three lifts (one of which exclusive for hotel staff) that cope comfortably during the pick times. The hotel is located close to Plaza Espanya at very short distance from the Metro (green line) and a walking distance to Plaza Catalunya (around 1.8 km). It’s a quiet place without the noise of Las Ramblas and yet easily accessible by metro and bus. Coming from the airport, it’s the Airbus first stop (Plaza Espanya), followed by a 100 m walk down the Paral-lel avenue.

The TV is short of channels in English (for those who still enjoy watching TV). It would be nice to make a streaming service available. The blind doesn’t darken the room enough (the street lights are too bright). This issue could be easily improved.

The room was clean, the location is perfect very central, close to the subway. If anybody needs an umbrella, petrol station has it and it´s right on the other side of the road.

It was disturbing that i could hear people from the other room, when they talked and used the bathroom. It´s not very pleasent especially in the middle of the night. It would have been nice to have a boiling cattle for making a cup of tea...

A very nice hotel in very convenient location for vististing (we have seen all Gaudi’s and except for Park Guell didn’t have to use public transport at all). The room was clean, towels were regularly changed. But the best was the recepcionist Alex, who let us check-in a few hours earlier and was extremely kind and helpful. There is also free-of-charge possibility to leave your luggage after check-out in this hotel, what is also super nice.

The only thing I missed was the electric kettle in the room.

Everything was fine. Hotel easy to find, in a good location - quite close to everything (Montjuic, Espanya, Barceloneta etc.). Staff VERY cheerful and polite, conversations were always humorous and nice. Room was very fine too. Good selection of food for breakfast.

The quality of the food varied - I wouldn't advise scrambled eggs. Ladies managing the breakfast services are champions of frivolity :) there was always something missing (juice, bread etc.).

I travel arround the Europe and World but hotel lugano was one of the best place ever. suoer location but first and the Best was personel.Hotel crew its Fantastic!!! i want Just Say 10/10 . I myself would like to employ them in my company especialy man this morning 18/03 and at 17/03 in the eveing!! Just Top!!! room was Fantastic too. clean and comfortabel.

Just want to Say that Little unconfortable for me was the Shower curtain. I would Change it for glas.

Great rooms, very professional staff and accommodations, more helpful and effective with problems far exceeding their obligations than any other instance I can recall. The area is great, very close to public transport in all directions and even nice to walk through and explore, many eateries and cafés around, 3 or 4 literally next door, overall a lighlight of our time in the city.

I wish we'd stayed longer.

I had the pleasure of staying in a room that faced the street, which provided a delightful view. It was wonderful to observe the people of Barcelona as they went about their daily routines, heading to work in the mornings and returning home in the evenings. The bustling activity outside added to the charm of my experience.

The room lacked any distinctive personality or character.

Me and my partner work remotely and the staff made sure we have all conditions for it. If you need extra chair or hot water ithey are all happy to help straight away. The room was cleaned every day, including fresh towels and bed linen. There are heaps of nice food places around so would highly recommend 😊

The location was close to Plaza España and was close to the bus stop and metro. A lot of restaurants and mini markets were close by. The room was clean and very comfortable, we had a view of the street. The a/c works. They had a mini bar that you didn't have to use and you could have the paid items removed and put your own stuff in it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back!
