it was very clean, beds were comfortable

the pool was busy and lots of kids. If the pool on -1 was cheaper it could be an adults only location to relax. I didn’t find the pool on the roof very relaxing

It was a great experience overall, definitely visit again The hotel room was very good in size and comfort. The breakfast was amazing. Very close to Montjuic palace and park (walking distance). We got a very nice room with palace and Mountin view

It is a bit far from the downtown around 2 kms but the taxi station was just at the door step of the hotel. The windows are locked completely for safety (no fresh air). Other than that the overall experience was very nice and meet the expectations for Intercontinental chain experience

The hotel experience was amazing, the staff were helpful and resourceful (I remember fondly Louis and Pedro). Room size was spacious, and windows could have been open on request. The area was great with close by metro. The spa area was also good: pool was mildly heated, jet waters, saunas.

This hotel is incredible. Just gorgeous! it is luxurious and the rooms are enormous! It is further out but a quick cab ride puts you in the middle of all of the action. Staff is friendly and super nice.

A wonderful hotel in a very good and quiet location. Big and comfortable rooms. The beds are large and comfortable, the windows in the room can open to let in fresh air. The bathroom is also very large, with both a bathtub and a shower cabin. The reception staff are very helpful, as is the service staff. It is worth mentioning the professionalism and prompt servicing of Mr. Elber, Alexander, Micael and Chouakin. It has parking, taxis station right outside the hotel and the metro station is a 5 minute walk away. You can visit the magic fountain, plaza espana and montjuic hill in a few minutes on foot. Plaza Catalunya is about a 25-minute walk away.

The cleaning services are poor and do not correspond in any way to a hotel of this level. Great care should be taken. They clean the rooms only superficially. There is no check if hand and body cleaning products are available. While the breakfast buffet is rich, it has the same products every day without any change. Finally, a very serious problem that concerns Barcelona in general and not specifically the hotel is that they break car windows to steal. Be careful not to leave a car parked in an alley and especially around the montjuic hill or in Barcelona stadium, most likely you will find the window broken.

It was perfectly placed for the concert at the Olympic stadium. The rooftop bar was lovely and fabulous food.

We were extremely disappointed with the room we were first given. We had booked several months ago and turned up to be given a room not appropriate for our stay, as we our not disabled. The shower was not adaptable for an able bodied person…which I found strange in a hotel of this calibre, and as I did not wish to stay for 3 nights and NOT shower insisted we were moved, and this initially seemed to be a great problem until I pointed out I could easily book more accommodation available with them on Booking .com for the same duration. Breakfast was totally disorganised and under staffed…I would expect better from a 5 star hotel.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated. Beautiful materials have been used throughout the hotel, including the lobby, dining areas, and rooms. The location is good and staff are very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room and bathroom were very nice and big. The staff was very thorough with the cleaning. The variety for breakfast was good. The restaurants were good. The rooftop bar and restaurant were very nice with a good view of the city. They organize a small entertainment event every night (pop soul singer/ rumba music, etc.) in the hotel lobby.

The breakfast options remained exactly the same during our 6 night stay. The basement pool access was not free. The laundry services were very expensive (6 or 7 euros for one hankerchief). There also is a 100 euros per day deposit that is charged on arrival. It is reimbursed on checkout. The daily entertainment event in the hotel lobby was not marketed well, and the only place we got to know about it was from the display in the elevator.

Stunningly large hotel room, gorgeous décor throughout the hotel and in the rooms. Perfect location for a city break in Barcelona. It was very close to the metro. Do not make the mistake of trying to walk everywhere- it is not a walking city. :) Metro is super easy to use and a station is a 5min walk away from the hotel. I was there with my husband in Feb. (Newlyweds) Beautiful rooftop with a pool and view. Wished it was warmer to swim but not in Feb! We loved our trip. The staff was very pleasant, attentive, and friendly Ps. Exceptional breakfast served each morning- oh WOW! <3

The lunch menu could better and the rooftop bar had strange opening and closing hours.
