My second stay at this property. It’s a great location with so much variety within walking distance- cafes, restaurants of all kinds, shopping, city buildings, galleries, museums and attractions. The Metro is a few minutes walk away which can bring you to the hotel in about 45mins with just one change. The rooms are fitted out to a high standard, with comfortable bed, a/c, fridge. Daily room service. Room 205 and others have windows opening to a shaft. Book a room with balcony if you prefer a view and more daylight. A breakfast box is available to order and there is a rooftop terrace area with tables and chairs, where an espresso machine dispenses high quality coffees free to residents (6am-6pm). 24hr receptionist, who is always happy to help and offer local guidance.

Room 205 is small for two people as there is no chair or tabletop and very little clothes storage.

Absolutely fantastic location !!! Great service from reception and an absolutely wonderful boxed breakfast in the morning. The hotel is 80m from Cerveceria Catalana a must eat a taps restaurant!! Its food is amazing and very affordable 😎

Excellent location: close to all the tourist attractions either 10-30 min walk or use the metro link. There are lots of great cafes and shops around too. The check in was easy. We arrived earlier, left the bags and went to walk about before returning for the check-in (earlier check in is available for a fee). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had room 206 which was spacious enough for the two of us, with balcony to the back of the property (not much of a view, but we had plenty during our walkabouts). It was very quiet at night and bed was super comfy. Shower was powerful too. We went up the rooftop terrace on last day and had coffee and lovely sit down. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Where it lost a point was that the balcony door wouldn’t close properly and during our last night (windy night) it opened few times waking us up and making air con to turn off. We moved the sofa next to the door to prevent it opening. Also, the bathroom door (sliding one) wouldn't fully shut! So make sure you are fully comfortable with whoever you’re traveling as it does not provide full privacy.

Excellent location on the Rambla de Catalunya. Close to all major sites in Barcelona and public transport. Beautiful old building with tile and modernisme influences. Cute little balcony overlooking the Rambla. Rooftop had seating and a little coffee machine free to use and the free candy in the reception was so cute. Room was very comfortable and modern, although there was not much room to spread out for 2 people. Couch was cute and comfortable.

The balcony had some cigarette butts from a prior guest when we arrived, but this was not a big issue.

Location was great, very close to an excellent tapas place which we ended up having almost all our meals at. Close to attractions, if not close to the metro, pharmacy, supermarket, starbucks, ice cream shop you name your needs… They have lift which is a big plus if you are visiting with a toddler/baby and a stroller. We stayed in room 105 which had a spacious terrace and room. We just requested extra sheets and reversed the sofa for our 2,5 year old and it was safe and cozy for him during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. We can stay again in our future visits to lovely Barcelona.

The location was perfect for us. Close to public transport and central enough for walking to all the places we wanted to visit in the city. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a double terraced room which faced out the back of the hotel. Although the view wasn't as nice as the front facing rooms, it was very quiet and perfect for our needs as we were only really in the room to sleep then out from early morning till late at night. We enjoyed the roof terrace where we went most mornings for a coffee before leaving for the day. There were lots of nice little touched like water and snacks left out near the entrance for guests to help themselves to. Umbrellas were also provided for the day we had some rain. Staff were all lovely and checked that we were happy with everything after we arrived. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room size was decent - especially for Europe. The elevator was quick and roomy, so you could get your luggage in there with you. Location was perfect. Easy 20 minute walk to the craziness of the Gothic Quarter but far enough away to get some rest.

The shower was odd. I couldn't get the rainfall showerhead to work, so we just had the handheld showerhead. It worked, great, though. Wish there was a bit more storage for clothes and whatnot. So if you are staying a long time, it might be difficult to hang up all of your clothes, etc.

Hotel was in the best location, easy to get to restaurants, shopping, metro - or just walk 15 minutes to everywhere. Room was very quiet, although there were many restaurants outside that were busy late at night. I felt safe walking around day or evening. Staff was helpful, and we were able to book taxis ahead of time to arrive and leave for airport. Also, when we emailed and asked for extra pillows they were there when we arrived.

The room was very small, which is fine, but there was no closet and the hangers hung in a strange way that didn't provide alot of storage. I would suggest a bar across instead of the system they provided, with clothes hanging across instead of down. Also it would be nice to have some hooks on the wall to add even more ability to hang items. The chair in our room was not necessary and just was a waste of space. If the bed was raised up higher, you could fit the suitcases underneath or even put drawers there. We stayed for 5 nights and it would have been nice to unpack better.

I initially booked a different hotel for my stay and as I started to read current reviews, it was clear that it was not safe to walk alone if you were a solo female traveler, which I am. This showed up as a rare fine so I jumped at the chance. A lot of the reviews will tell you that the room is small. I can see how that would feel if there were two, but it was fine for me. The selling point was the safety and location, literally off Las Ramblas and a short walk to the Passiage de Gracia, for all those fancy folk looking to indulge in some expensive shopping. The room was fine, simple, and clean, and though I did not get a balcony, I did get two windows (one in the bathroom and one in the room). The view was pretty much other windows to other rooms, yet I still welcomed the ability to open them. Entering the hotel there are small goodies for you to take, including water. Breakfast is boxed and needs to be ordered the evening before. I only got it for one day and opted to eat it at the rooftop where the coffee machine is located. Barcelona is BIG. I'm from LA and has that similar vibe where you need to take public transportation or have a car or Uber. I didn't mind the 30-minute walk to most places of interest like the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and other things. It is close to other Gaudi buildings, which is nice.

I thought the staff was indifferent towards me and somewhat aloof but not a deal breaker. It would have been nice to have a breakfast buffet like most places but the boxed meal was fine, just not enough for me to have it more than one day. It kinda sucks that if you want coffee, you have to go to the rooftop, maybe consider putting it on the ground floor next to the snacks...

I loved everything. It was super, super clean. It looks exactly like from the photos, we had an amazing balcony view on the La Rambla de Catalunya street. The room is super clean, modern, and fresh. The bathroom is perfect size, clean, and has all the necessary amenities. The location is amazing! It's a walking distance from the busy Catalunya square, Casa Batllo and Casa Mila are close as well, which makes Sagrada Familia close too. All the restaurants and shops are in front of the hotel, and there are a bunch of options for everyone's taste. The staff is very kind, professional, and tentative, always there to assist with any inquiries. You can also leave your luggage in the hotel if your flight is late in the evening. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know.
