It was the first trip on holiday with our 1,5 year old daughter. So we where pretty excited to have a week in Barcelona. The hotel was located at the perfect spot for walking distance. Around the corner you have billy brunch a great lunch spot, at the end of the street is a supermarket, the other end of the street is Arc the triomf and if pass the park around the corner you enter the shopping area. The people are genuinely nice and helpful in the hotel! We felt really welcome and they know how to support a family with a 1 year old. They give great tips, always open to listen and offcourse helpful whenever needed.

I traveled with my wife and we both really liked Hotel Musik. Cezar welcomed us at check-in, told us everything we needed to know and much more which immediately left a great impression before we even spent time at the hotel. Rooms were very clean and tidy and factor x were bluetooth speakers embedded into the ceiling that you can easily connect to your phone/laptop/ipad... Breakfast was nicely served and combined everything you need to start a great day in Barcelona! Check-out is at 12pm..no worries, you can leave your baggage at the hotel and wander around the city a little more :)

Everything was pretty much perfect, attention to detail and final touches made all the difference. Will definitely stay here again, location is great in the beautiful Gothic quarter with loads to see, do and eat near by.

only fault which I haven’t marked them down for because I never gave them an opportunity to rectify, was the temperature, it got very warm in the night and the extremely comfy beds held your body heat. There is air con but I couldn’t get it working, I’m sure if I’d asked they would have helped me get it going. I paid for the deluxe room which was listed as sound proof, we were woke by bass from music blasting in the above room so not completely sound proof they must have had it very loud which is why I’ve not marked the hotel down for it, they must have really been blasting it!

The hotel was lovely couldn't fault it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty too. The location was great for getting to all the sight seeing locations via foot such as The Ramblers, The Musical Fountain etc. The choice of restaurants was also very good.

There is so much graffiti around. It really brought the location down. There is such beauty in the location but the sheer amount of graffiti really made it look undesirable. It wasn't done in an artistic fashion just meer criminal damage that seems to not have had any attempt to be cleaned off by the local council. Even its beaches have tons of graffiti. I mean you can over look it but such a shame. I know parts of London are bad but this did make for a negative impression. There is a lingering bad smell around in the main streets. It smelt like sewage, however currently there are lots of road works etc going on. Otherwise everything else I cannot fault.

This hotel is in a great location in the gothic quarter. It is a bit expensive but every hotel I looked at seemed to be on the pricey side- at least for our budget. I requested a top floor apartment because my husband and I have a hard time sleeping with people above us and the staff kindly gave us one. Everyone at the reception desk was very friendly and check-in/out was very smooth. Upon check-in they give you a map with places you might want to check out and some restaurants that guests might enjoy. The room was clean and comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from the street below.

Being on the top floor, it was very hot and the air conditioning did not seem to work that well. Even though we could not hear noise from the street, we could hear people within the hotel including the maids going in out of the cleaning rooms which were right next to our room. (they seemed to be cleaning very early one morning and were scraping furniture or something across the floor and we could hear it in our room.) We could also hear a kid screaming in their room while we were in ours. I know that the hotel can't help that children are crying but the noise carried right through the walls and doors.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. There are bars, cafes and restaurants around, including places where you can get breakfast. The hotel is very near Arc de Triomf where there is a metro and bus stops. Placa Catalunya is a longer walk but OK. Beware, thieves operate in the area. It wouldn't put me off staying there again, you just need to be aware and don't wear expensive jewellery or walk around with your phone in your hand.

Very nice room, cosy and well equiped, cleaned on a daily basis. Close to the Rambla street (less than 10 minutes walk). Located on a smaller street, pretty quiet during the night.

We chose this hotel because it had rooms with balconies, but we didn't really have access to balcony (we only had a window to that balcony) Even if it was mentioned on Booking that our reservation has a balcony, at the hotel we were told that our reservation doesn't have a balcony. So the conclusion is: even if you are booking a deluxe room, you have no guarantee that you'll also have a balcony.

Musik Boutique Hotel is located in a very authentic and characteristic neighbourhood in Barcellona, close to the metro station, la Rambla, placa de Catalunya and may other facilities just a few minute walk away. So, position is great! Furthermore, the staff was amazing, kind, caring, full of attentions and very helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and silent: we dreamed very sweet dreams! Breakfast offered a lot of choice for every taste, without exaggerating: everything was fresh and good quality. We also enjoyed the attention to the details not only in the design, but also to sustainability.

Amazing place, small but comfortable. The room itself is small but enough for 2 person with luggage. The bathroom is clean. We got a view on internal courtyard and it was very quiet and nice sunrise in the morning. We definitely loved the breakfast, you got small but really enough variety of hot and cold meal, juices, pastries etc. enough and the food is high quality. The location is perfect, close to main attractions and hidden from the tourists. The park is nice nearby.

It was a pleasure staying in the hotel. The staff in particular were delightful, very welcoming, informative and caring. When we left to go out amidst the Argentinian worldcup celebrations (it was wild!) and walked down the street, the receptionist (Cezar) left his reception post and ran after us to explain that we should be super vigilant about pickpockets - a great example of customer service! The room was very comfortable and being able to play your own music through the speakers in the room was magical. Despite a very noisy and boisterous night outside, the room was peaceful. Great bed, very comfy. Lovely shower. Excellent breakfast!
