Decent acumination in the heart of the city for a good price. The hotel offers just the basics. The room is equipped only with a safe and a hairdryer. If you are looking for more, then this hotel is not for you. The room was spacious, the beds, although singe, are confutable enough, the heating (A/C), was adequate for this time of the year (Beginning of March). The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Metro station is under five minutes of walking. Plenty of very nice breakfast, brunch, coffee shops and restaurants, under ten minutes of walking.

The hotel still used blankets on the beds. I do not remember seeing blankets in another European hotel for a long time. Also the bathroom sink was very small.

The door does not seal well. There is a space between the wall and the door of 2 cm and everything can be heard, it is also possible to peek out. If you are not coming with a partner, this can be awkward 🫣

The staff in this hotel is amazing! Alina was super nice at welcoming us and providing some important tips for our stay. She made us feel very positive about the hotel from the first minute. The young man at our check out was also very sweet (unfortunately do not know his name). Location is very convenient to explore the city by foot and for arriving from the airport by bus. The room was quite fine, the beds reasonably comfortable. Plenty of storage for personal items

It was a bit noisy in the evenings as the building is old and the walls are thin and other people staying in the hotel were not very considerate of those trying to sleep. Would be great to have a trash bin also in the room and not only in the bathroom

Location is the star feature The building itself hints at the 'old Barcelona' of classy apartments. Walk up the stairs at least once, to experience the tiled elegance. Then Som Nit is just a minute on foot from the Arc de Triomfo, and another five along a wide pedestrianised boulevard takes you to the popular Parc de la Ciutadella, a good place to chill in sun or under shady trees. Also near Picasso Museum. North in the other direction along Ronda de San Pere, a leisurely 15 minutes' walk puts you in Placa de Catalunya, at the top of the famous La Rambla. It's also a hub for several metro lines.

Very central and easy to walk everywhere.

The walls are very thin and we could hear everything that went on in the hotel outside the rooms.

Comfortable bed! Good shower. Very clean. Super nice employee at check in. I arrived after the desk had closed but got very clear email based instructions for how to access my room. Location is terrific, right in the heart of things but not on a particularly busy street.

The walls are thin, so I heard every trickle of water from upstairs and every door opening and even quiet conversations from down the hall. Wish I’d had a white noise background to help dampen the resonance of the acoustics.

Excellent location. Larger balconies facing tree lined street. Coffee shops, breakfast places and a restaurant on the same block. 15 minute walk to marina, 10 minute walk to Gothic quarter and Picasso museum. Historical building with high ceilings. I would stay there again. Beach is 25 minutes walk.

Such great balconies deserve a tea/coffee maker. The rooms are for two people only. If you are traveling with family, it is better to book two rooms. Square footage accurately reflects that rooms are small. However, high ceilings make the rooms feel larger.

Clean, bright room. Beds SO comfy. Good shower and incl hair dryer. Interesting building. Gorgeous balcony view (see pic). Well located and staff so friendly especially Sardar who made us feel so welcome thank you . Natalia booked our transfers and was friendly too

Noisey people next door (not hotels fault to be fair). A little pricey but seemed barcelona is all a little pricey on weekends

Although the room was small, there was everything we needed, a fridge, enough space for two people, and all our clothes and things. Everything was super clean, enough towels for two people were provided (+ more), and the room was comfy and warm despite the weather being already cold during the night. I also need to mention a lovely, smiley, and communicative receptionist (a blond curly girl) who was always ready to help, explain everything, and who seemed to love her job - she made our stay even better. :)

I hoped for a room with a balcony, but this was just a detail. :) The door to the bathroom was not possible to close at maximum and lock. Also, as we had a room next to the reception, we heard all the sounds from the corridor, so it is not the best option for people with poor sleep.

Staff were really helpful, it was clean and in a great location.

We are two female friends and booked a twin room but on arrival were shown to a double room with no other availability or spare mattress. Apparently Booking.com's fault. We had to top and tail in a double bed and sadly it was the worst experience of our trip. Staff were great and gave us a twin room for second night plus stored luggage on day of departure.
