The staff are amazing! Gina helped me a lot. She's a sweetheart.

The room is very clean, bed, shower, bath, and shampoo, all meet (above) my expectations.

The breakfast is only mediocre, I am not sure if it is worth 12 euros per person. We asked the hotel to call a taxi for us to go to the airport, and the hotel nicely did. However, I hoped that the hotel would inform us that it would cost about 10 euro more if they ordered the taxi for us, because the taxi started counting money when they answered the calls, and not when they picked us up.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pestana in Barcelona. Location was great, close to the airport and walking distance to 3 subway stations and hundreds of buses to take you anywhere in Barcelona. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Great concierge and staff (thank you Victoria). We highly recommend to try the bar at the hotel. Abdellah was the best mixologist, he has served the best gin and tonic and the best sangria we have ever had! And he showed great customer service. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel as we preffered to try different coffee shops. Recommend Audrey's place, great expresso, fresh orange juice and sandwiches. this is literally 1 min walk from Pestana. If you are looking for a great hotel close to the Gothic Quarter (2 km) then do not hesiatte to book Pestana. Thank you Barcelona for the memories :)

Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay at Pestana

We had a nice holiday in Barcelona and our stay at Pestana Arena completed our experience with a combination of very good services, support and communication. Good location, comfortable rooms, tasty and fresh breakfast excided our expectations. Thank you Gina, Oscar, Marlene and Pestana team!

Breakfast was a nice buffet with a wide selection.lunch and dinner menu varied every day. Lots of choices! Staff at bar and restaurant and reception were exceptionally friendly and remembered personal requests (allergies etc). Close to metro so very easy to move around. Close to trainstation so easy to continue our trip. Close to national art museum of Catalonia and Montjuic. Safe area.

Beyond control of the hotel, the safety in certain areas is bad. We got robbed in a Starbucks on the Ramblas and learned afterwards it happens all the time. The hotel staff was very understanding and helpful when trying to find solutions.

We had a very big, very comfortable bed and slept so well. The whole room was great. Versatile breakfast. We got to check in before check-in time when we arrived very early. Nice staff.

Had small problems with the lights in the room, there was a great system but it didn't work the way it should have, like we couldn't get only the bathroom light on at night, or the dimming didn't work properly. But if that was the only problem, then it was a good stay.

The best thing about this hotel is how comfortable it is and the staff are completely helpful and go out of their way to assist you. Since I stayed here last time, the bathrooms have been fitted with showers, which are so much better for access. The gluten-free breakfast option was great: a baguette and croissant cooked especially for me!

The floor of the new shower is not fitted properly and leaks everywhere. It's not actually bathroom flooring. I wish the hotel would have room service in-house because the breakfast is great, and although the room service is all night, it took an hour to arrive and the website did not work on the phone and I had to call them instead.

The staff was nice and rooms were nice. The breakfast was options were good and the wait staff was nice. The staff spoke English and was very helpful when we had questions about the city. I liked that there is a convenient store across the street and restaurants in walking distance.

I wish they had easier room service procedure and options. Not that it was a deal breaker, but additional food options and ordering from a restaurant not on location was a bit of a hassle when arriving late and most locations were closed.

All people working there were kind and helpful since the very beginning up till the end, they let me eat the breakfast on the upper part of the tarrace for as long as I wanted and asked if I want another coffee before they will turn down the coffee machine :) I had an early flight to Barcelona and a late flight back, I could leave the luggage in the hotel and go sightseeing. The bed was big and comfy, nice pillows, the room was cleaned everyday and the supplies fulfilled. After a whole day of walking it was nice to enter a cleaned room and take a bath, the waterstream was great, the water gets hot really quickly, the soap smelled nice :)

Breakfast could be a bit more diverse each day, it was good but could be better.

The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and had great English speaking skills. If I come back to Barcelona I would stay here because the streets were quiet, amazing ramen right next door, train stations close by and the rooms were clean with all the amenities you could expect from a 4-star hotel. I hurt my knee whilst staying here and they were very helpful with providing extra pillows and ice.

The safe seems a little outdated, Gym was very basic and can get very hot because it's next to the sauna. Lifts were a little slow but nothing can be done about that.
