The full kitchen, friendly staff, the location, the beautiful decor and communal spaces. The included breakfast was a nice surprise. 24 hour reception is always helpful.

It was a little tricky to find at night as the location on google maps was a little bit off and the sign out the front wasn't easy to see at night.

It’s like a lovely home, everyone is friendly and helpful. We like the lemon grass scent in our room.

The place is lovely and super cozy, truly feels like a family home. Located in the heart of Barcelona, just 7 minutes away from La Sagrada Familia and 2 minutes away from the metro station. All the public spaces are cleaned daily, there are plenty of bathrooms (never had to wait to take a shower or use the toilet), the kitchen is very spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking a meal. All of the staff are welcoming and super friendly, specially Alma. I really felt at home and whenever I visit Barcelona again I’m definitely staying in Primavera.

For a hostel there was nothing to dislike, comfortable beds with privacy curtains, locker, shoe rack, clothes hangers, rooms were very spacious, I stayed in a 6 bed mixed. Shower and toilet rooms clean and spacious, smelt fresh. Amazing kitchen area, everything you could ask for if you are wanting to cook. Lovely sitting area to relax read or just chill. Lovely breakfast for extra €4, staff were happy smiling and eager to help, walking you through and explaining the amenities, the importance of noise and consideration to others staying. A very well run team. Great breakfast place next door…10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia.. Last but most important is the decor, this place tops it all when it comes to style, colour and furniture, better than most 3 star hotels, well done the designer, outstanding. What you see is what you get, fantastic.

The decor was gorgeous and the staff were absolutely amazing! Loved the kitchen and all toilet and shower facilities were clean and in great working condition. Excellent location and we loved our little balcony. Fridge in room also excellent! My boyfriend was sadly pickpocketed on our last day so it was great to be able to still use the facilities when we returned to pick up our luggage that was being stored after checking out. We really needed some water and hot drinks after what had been a very stressful and upsetting afternoon!

The only thing we didn’t like was being woken by someone talking really loudly outside our room very early one morning. We think that this was someone that worked there (our room was very close to the reception area).

It was very clean and I loved their system with two private and several shared bathroom spaces. The bed was comfortable and smelled and felt freshly washed and it made a very safe appearance over all. The staff I met was beyond nice and I was even allowed to leave my luggage for a bit after my stay.

The only thing that was throwing a shadow was that there was an infant crying for an extended period of time, waking and keeping me up. I don’t know if it was from other guests or the owners of the hostel and I obviously know that’s something you can’t really change and have no influence of as a host. Nonetheless I don’t really expect infants in hostels for this exact reason 😅 since it was an amazing hostel I would definitely come again in the hopes that there’s nobody crying 😂

The place is perfect !! Absolutely !! I enjoyed the design if the room, kitchen (fully equipped) , lounge , toilets . Really perfect place to stay for a while ! I just waited for the opportunity to say thank you for your kind and professional hosting ! In a very short time you fill as if you came to stay on your friends/family house abroad . I recommend primavera as a great place in Barcelona and i will gladly come back and recommend to friends and colleges . As an architect i highly appreciate the full professionally in designing the spaces and the hospitality . Thank you Pedro and Roy

This hostel exceeded my expectations, the staff are lovely people very helpful and friendly, the building is spotless clean. The cleaners are brilliant, everyday they were cleaning a building that was already spotless and amazing. By far the best hostel iv ever stayed in, I highly recommend 10 out of 10 for me. The beds are very comfortable, and little curtains for privacy. Shower areas are really modern and clean and a nice powerful shower, too. Felt really safe too the building is really secure, location excellent, bus, trains, trams all on the door step and points of interest within walking distance or a short train or bus journey. Close to the beach which I personally liked. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Barcelona, also kitchen area very modern, plenty of space to cook, also really clean, they have a breakfast in the morning for 4euro with a good selection, free tea and coffee too, they also have little plastic containers if you need bring food with you, they really are running a good busines here

Nothing, everything was excellent

Incredible common areas and facilities. I've never stayed in a hostel that felt so much like a home! I got quite comfortable here by the end of my stay. Most of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. All the little details of interior design, music, cleanliness... everything was perfect in my book.

The storage in dorms could use some work: in the 4 bed dorm, the under-bed drawers need to be put on wheels because they are heavy and the metal scrapes against the floor (loud!). In the 6-bed dorm, the lockers are very loud and when people come in late or leave early, everyone wakes up because of it. However, earplugs are handy, which they have at the front desk!

The place is even cuter than the photos and it's super well located. The whole place was clean and quiet and the kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need and a bit more. The staff is super friendly but Alma deserves an honourable mention for being such a good vibe and making us feel extra welcome 😊 While the metro is 5min away, you can walk about 30min to most touristy places (La Sagrada Familia is only 10min). There are plenty of nice and affordable restaurants around the area as well as supermarkets just a few blocks away. The area was quiet overnight but felt safe to walk around.

The lift in the building was broken and while it's not their fault, guests should be informed ahead of time in case they need to plan/prepare. Luckily it's on the first floor so if what you need to carry it's luggage, it's still doable.
