The reception staff, the cleanliness of the whole place, the roof terrace, the location, these were all amazing. Also comfortable bed and nice with some extra seclusion in the dormitories in your bed, not only curtains.

I was staying in the dormitory downstairs room nr 001 and it had no windows, only a door towards a dark inner courtyard. So basically, either you had privacy and sauna feeling bc 10 ppl in the same room, or you had to live with door open and hear all the sounds of the neighboors from the courtyard, including the night guard at the reception watching movies. As I could see, all other rooms and dormitories were higher up, so request to stay higher up and you’ll be good.

They guy on reception made me feel at ease and welcome even before I reached the reception desk. Great customer service. The place was scrupulously clean and the rooms and common areas particularly spacious by hostel standards. The decor, furniture and fittings were all of avery high standard and the split level rooftop terraces (with bar) were fantastic.. The central position perfect. There was a choice of breakfast options - (each individually prepared to order rather than served buffet style).

Perhaps it was just the particular "mix" of guests on the nights I stayed,c but there seemed little interaction / socialising. People tended to keep themselves to themselves. I couldn't really discern a 'vibe' or 'atmosphere'.

The location, decor, style, and cleanliness was superb. VERY comfortable bed, and good shower. The building lifts the spirts on entry and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The roof-top terrace was wonderful as was the provision of a large workroom to sit and work on my laptop.

Very little not to like here - street lights meant you had to close windows so the room could be stuffy but that's the city, not the hostels fault - and they provide good black out curtains etc

Wonderful bright, clean, shiny hostel. Reception were OK. Friendly enough. The reception area itself is amazing. Huge atrium around a fountain (not in use for obvious reasons) with loads of light and plants. Big marble everything! The six bed dorm was clean with pod space bunk beds with privacy curtains. The bed comfortable and the bedding clean USB points and a light. Shared shower room was a good size and clean and bright. Shower was good. I borrowed a towel. Then there was the fantastic roof terraces; plural! Loads of seating and loungers and bean bags… A bar! Free beer (one)! Good priced gin! Then there was fully equipped kitchen! Huge with hobs, fridges, sink… Then there was the dining room. The living room downstairs. Toilets dotted about the place if you don’t want to use the one in the dorm. Brilliant. Plus there is breakfast. And it’s really central, but, off ‘the drag’ on a quiet street.

Not a lot. Couldn’t find anyone on reception when locked out of room; but, it was 01:30 something and I wasn’t willing to ring the reception bell! The barman had quit so the bar was a bit haphazard; they did open it for a while though.

The location is incredible! The 4-bed rooms are spacious, with a large lockable drawer. The kitchen is fully equipped and very large (with two fridges and two stoves) but with limited space to store your dry food. There is also a large media room and study/work room. I used the laundry room twice, very convenient.

The mattress was not the most comfortable and made a lot of noise when turning around. Also all the doors and windows were always open, I assume that’s nice in summer but in winter it was chilly throughout the hostel.

Great location, incredible building with a nice rooftop terrace. Friendly staff. Not the most social, but there is a few common areas, and it might also be the time that I went there. Very clean. Also I really like the pods in the bedroom, each with a private locker and curtain, and the insides are painted black which helps in case any roommates are using light. Comfortable bed.

Whole building is in white stone, so it's pretty echoey. And the lockers roll out from under the bed so they make a lot of sound. Some blankets would probably help a lot with the acoustics. Room didn't have any windows outside of main door, so got pretty stuffy overnight. Also my roommate was very friendly but it seemed like he basically had moved in, treating the place like his own house with stuff in all the common drawers, shower etc and spending super long on his morning routine while making a lot of sound. Didn't bother me too much as I just spent a night there, but not ideal

Simple rooms, great facilities in the building (like the most gorgeous rooftops in the area), all clean, a good place to meet ppl any part of the year. I stayed here before in a dormitory and that was a good experience as well. Without have seen all of them, I’d still risk to say this is the best hostel in Cadíz. Easy check-in whatever time of the day (and night). Also, reception staff super cute, attentive, will help you with whatever questions you might have.

A bit pricey for a double room with such basic facilities. No table or chairs even. But at least the bed was really comfy. And great with lots of electric outlets close to the bed.

I only stayed for 1 night. Check-in was smooth and via a machine with the help of a staff member. Good location in the old town, and approx. 15 min walk to the train station. The dorm itself was ok for 1 night.

The dorm door was quite old fashion, it didn't close properly many times, didn't feel very private to the outside of the dorm, and was not noise proof. The bathroom was quite small and smelled bad. Also, the front door of the hostel itself was always opened and unguarded while I saw some beggars walking outside in the neighborhood. Storing your luggage meant to put it in an unlocked room (no lockers or anything) on ground floor without watch where I saw random people hanging out there. Lastly, as far as I could tell, there was not much of a common area to socialize and meet people.

The location is perfect, walking distance to almost every spot. The hostel was clean, there was a problem with a lock I had (it was broken), the issue was promptly solved by switching beds but due to my request I as easily switched the rooms. The communication with personnel was pleasant and efficient. It’s my first stay in a hostel in Europe so I have nothing to compare to, but in general I’m satisfied and was lucky enough to have good roommates. There were a few cons which weren’t completely comfortable but for some they might be ok.

The beds and mattresses were squeaky as hell. Every time a person on the top bunk turned - the whole bed shook as if the bed was going to collapse, for light sleepers it may be a problem. The sounds from the bathroom were heard as if you are with that person in the bathroom together.
