The location was excellent, made better by the fact the hotel has it's own underground garage (four slots). Parking in Cadiz would have been difficult without this. The staff were super helpful and polite, nothing too much trouble. Our suit was as we imagined. The hotel itself was a mix of Moorish and Spanish styles, really very lovely.

The breakfast was a disappointment if you aren't Spanish. No offer of any kind of eggs, just bread, croissant, jam and the cheese and local ham were served on a plate covered with cling film. This isn't really a complaint, just would have been good to have a little more variety.

Superb location, excellent design/feel of hotel with stylish historic quirky decor. Excellent kind and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble and we felt very well cared for in a personal way even down to our breakfast tea/coffee preference being remembered day to day at the great fresh breakfast. Hotel was very calm and welcoming, especially the large quiet lounge area with relaxing jazz music. Bonus to have access to lovely roof terrace too. Our bedrooms weren't huge but were lovely with good quality linens, cool floor tiles and good shower water pressure.

Some rooms (ours) don't have windows to the outside which wasn't clear when I booked. I had a window onto the beautiful internal stairwell/central internal courtyard and my companion had an opening window onto a kind of ventilation chute. We both had aircon so the temperature/freshness was fine, but they were a little dark (especially for my elderly companion). So if sight of outside space is important then make sure you book an external room.

Staff were lovely ,welcoming and very helpful,24 hour reception..Location was perfect for visiting all attractions and 10 min walk to train station. The decor was really pretty and welcoming. Candles lit along the staircase every evening.Gorgeous building

I think we might have been a bit unlucky with our room 102,it was quite small and dark. The bed wobbled and was squeaky and not very comfortable. The bathroom tiles and fittings are in need of upgrading, tiling was a bit grubby looking around the shower and floor.Room is above reception and breakfast area so very noisy in the mornings, some street noise but that's OK given its central location. The room was tidied every day but floors weren't cleaned or swept properly. We probably should have asked for a room change or paid for an upgrade although the room wasn't cheap but we didn't spend much time in the room in the 5 days so we didn't bother.I would stay again but in a different room next time.

this little hotel has style! I was so pleased that my single room had those little decor details that made it look cozy and special, it has an antique retro feel but with all the modern facilities. I even had a bath in my room. Breakfast was really nice, freshly pressed juice and fruit bowl was v nice. Staff very friendly. it just had the ambiance that I loved. Unlike some faceless hotels, this one is stylish and special. Loved it! Location is also great, in the old town, and not far from train/bus station. Price is also reasonable.

the wardrobe in my room, just a wooden box, was a little bit flimsy

lovely hotel building. loved the decor and beautiful walls and floors. The staff were friendly and nice. the location was so good for walking straight into the city. the big room was beautiful to look at and the shower was great.

unfortunately 4 nights, barely any sleep . dreadful noise coming from next building, and noise of dog/s barking through until 3am then deliveries and more noise. building works and outside street noise bad too. moved for the last night from the lovely room at my request but was given a small inferior room with an uncomfortable bed, stuffy room , air con wouldn’t work, a shower that flooded the bathroom because it wouldn’t drain. left the hotel feeling a bit sad, and unwell tired, - paid a lot of money for this!

I love this property (stayed once before in 2021). It is beautiful inside (gorgeous tiles & decor); staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. Parking garage across the street is nice. We selected a standard room and the size fit 2 of us perfectly. The bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean and although a tad on the small size, had enough space for 2 backpacks and 2 carryons with no problem. Bathroom was large with nice area (window sill) for our toiletries. Room also had a safe and a fridge. Hotel is in a great location!

Nothing.

This lovely little hotel is in an excellent location and was easy to find. When I checked in I was given a twin room but after a quick talk with the team they allocated me room 101 which has a lovely double bed! Lovely sized room and nice balcony looking out onto the street. I didn't experience any adverse noise during my 3 night stay! I didn't have breakfast at hotel so can't comment but the smell of the coffee in the morning was fabulous! Thank you so much guys, your hotel is just fabulous and I would stay here in a heartbeat next time I am in Cadiz

Only one little thing was the day I arrived there was an unpleasant drain smell coming from the bathroom but that had disappeared the following morning!

We loved Cadiz, and the Hotel Argentonio added to our wonderful experience. The decor is tasteful and the lounge area was so welcoming. The hotel is located just on the edge of the narrow streets, so it was easy to find and within walking distance to what we wanted to see. The staff, Daniel and Rosa, were very friendly, helpful, and gave us suggestions as to how to make the most of our short stay in Cadiz. A tip for those with a car: even though there is parking available at the hotel, our car was too big (and we are too inexperienced 😳) to navigate the narrow streets, so we parked nearby at a parking station, Canalejas, which was very easy to locate and a short stroll to the hotel.

Nothing! It was great.😊

was wanting a twin room really as travelling with a friend. There obviously wasn't any available when booking in (I had requested this on booking months ago). Room ok though and we managed sharing. Only stayed one night on our way to another location. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel although we hired bikes which was good fun. However pedal fell off during our bike ride, we managed to find someone to temporarily fix so we could return to hotel. Staff were apologetic and refund the cost of hiring the bikes. We managed to enjoy the ride up to that point. My friends bike was ok.

We loved everything about this charming hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we liked the location a lot. We were within easy walking distance to explore. Our room (no 307 'Zenobia') felt really special to be in. The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was really good and we really appreciated the hotel's gorgeous decor. We hired bikes from the hotel which took us further afield to the waterfront overlooking the new bridge. Highly recommend!

There wasn't anything we didn't like.
