The location is absolutely ideal for the compact, historic city centre which mostly comprises very narrow streets and alleys and for all the sites and restaurants. Cadiz is not a city for the car. However, if like us you go there by car, the city's main underground car park is easy to access from the main highway into the centre and, from the car par it is only a few hundred metres walk to the hotel. This car park is clean, safe and well-run and is good value at Euro16 per 24 hours. The hotel is also easily accessed from the main railway station and bus station, both are about 500metres away. Having parked the car, everything in Cadiz is within walking distance. However, there is good public transport in the form of a local bus which goes all round the seafront around the historic city centre (no need to use the sight-seeing bus!). The local bus is very frequent, very cheap, very clean and accessible. If only British cities could follow this example. The hotel is very well-run. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Exactly as shown on the website. Nothing more to say! The hotel fronts on to one of the narrow alleys. It is important to note that this alley does not have any bars and cafes which makes it quiet at night-time.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about this hotel and little we didn't like about Cadiz. The only complaint we had about Cadiz (which seems to be a safe, well-run city) was the Euro7 charge to go round the Cathedral. We feel a charge around Euro3 would be fair. We would go back to Cadiz and to this hotel again.

This has only been open for 6 months and what a beautiful little Hotel this is. We were upgraded to a Junior Suit, I just wish we had, had more time to spend in the room. The bed was amazing, memory foam pillow. Not one but 2 TV's. Coffee machine amazing. A table and chairs would have been nice on the patio. But I am sure they will look into that. Everything was amazing. Parking close by. Right in the centre.

This is not about the Hotel, do not neat in the main square these are tourist traps, try to eat where the Locals eat.

We were welcomed by the staff on arrival & reception staff were extremely helpful throughout. Breakfast was very good. Our room was superb as it was on the top floor just by the pool & it was light & airy. The hotel is centrally located & near to all the sights & restaurants. The decor is great & we loved our stay. We particularly liked the plunge pool & sun terrace which were beautifully maintained.

Perhaps a little more variety at breakfast would have made it more enjoyable. Our room was very small & although we had lots of light on the upper floor, some of the rooms on the lower floors might seemed quite dark. Our tv had only one Spanish station - a guide on how to access other stations (if available) would have been welcome.

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel is in a great location. The bedrooms are quirky, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The staff welcoming and informative. They are on duty 24hrs a day to help with any questions you may have. The breakfast is excellent with good food choices. And finally the rooftop dip pool a nice little extra to chill out by. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this very well run property.

As well as the coffee maker in the bedroom, a kettle would have been appreciated.

I was upgraded to a better room than single room and I was then super comfortable. The beds are firm and super comfortable. The internet works perfectly fine, the hotel location is at walking distance from the train station and is better to walk because you wont be able to reach the hotel by taxi as is in a pedestrian zone. Very quiet, super good location if you are travelling by bus or by train, the breakfast is very good, you have everything basically, good fruit, good cold meats, good coffees and teas, a lot of variety, if you are celiac like me they give you gluten free bread and sweet bread as well, the pool is refreshing even though don't expect to swim as is not deep neither big enough but sunbeds are great, I was with an injury from coming sleeping in bad beds and this bed was like heaven and the people attending the reception are amazing, I needed to be picked up by emergency and taken to a hospital and they took care of all my stuff and about calling the ambulance and what else I can say...they were super attentive, efficient and my emergency was at 2am...

With my back injury was difficult to walk and the room is at two different levels, so main level is the room but the entrance and bathroom has a step down, so if you have a problem walking need to know this.

The hotel is obviously new. It is bright, very pleasant decor. The staff are superb. The rooms are comfortable and modern. The location is great. Close to the station and a good base for exploring the town(which we loved!)

It seems little thought was given to sound insulation during reconstruction. We could clearly hear what was going on in the (bath)rooms around us. This may be a petty point but it was a first for me in such a hotel - there was not a single English language TV channel available on the (large) TV. It seems we got an upgrade - our lovely room had a regular window. The room we should have had would have had a (closed) window onto the atrium on the inside of the building. Wouldn't have liked that much...

Great location right in the centre of the old town. Very clean and stylish decor. Spacious bedroom with extra large comfy bed and perfect pillows. We were nicely surprised to receive an upgrade!. Staff (especially the lovely Paloma) were all very helpful and advised us on places to visit, restaurants etc. Loved lounging on the roof terrace and cooling off in the pool. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Breakfast was good, hotel was very clean, personnel was very helpful. The hotel is exactly in the center. we were able to observe all processions and events happening in the center. the hotel was quiet, 15 min to the sea (by walking). Personnel of the hotel is very knowledgeable and was able to give very good advise.

The room we booked was 'economy', it had a small window and the air in the room was a bit wet. There was no place in the room or outside the room to dry the wet clothes (after the sea).

Excellent location. Everything was new and spotlessly clean. The building’s early structural arches have been incorporated into modern style rooms. Very attractive. Comfortable bed and choice of pillows. Great shower. Quiet side street with no traffic. Car parking less than 1 minute away.

We were surprised to find a brick column opposite us when we first opened the bedroom door. It was beautiful but a little warning would be good. The glass partition to access the washbasin was deceptive. Someone could easily walk into it. (Our friends had a ‘safer’ partition in their room.)

Unfortunately there was a problem with the hotel that we booked so they put us in a different hotel called the Soho Boutique Columela. Thankfully, it was a newer property, and they added a free breakfast with the room. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful, and the room was uber clean, modern, and very large. We loved our breakfast on the top of the hotel, and I love the Soho Boutique concept. We stayed at a few Soho Boutique Hotels in Europe, and we love the brand and concept.
