For a 1 star hotel is aleady more than expected.

Probably this is very common in Spain, to not have WiFi connection in the rooms. However, it is real pain without it. If somebody from the hotel reads it, please add two more routers around the building.

Location of the property is perfect due to being in the center, and easy to find a parking place around. The room was clean and the sound was not that loud from the street. Staff was really friendly and helpful (especially Miguel). Also they had umbrellas for us to rent during our stay there. Overall a nice stay and would book again.

The only negative aspect that I would mention is the breakfast. First the breakfast time was between 9 and 10, which limited our time of going to sea side. Secondly the variety of food at breakfast was low. If we had this information, we would not have booked with breakfast.

The hotel could easily be considered 2 starts rather than 1. Excellent location. Great staff. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. There is a cafeteria attached to the hotel which is great to have some drinks in the late evening before going to bed.

No Wi-Fi signal in the room (room 201). In the lobby it worked fine. Not enough pressure on the shower. Breakfast starts at 9am, which is not ideal for a beach destination. We only had it in the very first day because it was raining. Every other day we left the hotel before 9am to go to the beaches. We booked a double bed and got 2 single beds instead.

Very impressed with this hotel, especially after the more negative reviews. Great customer service on checkin, explaining to us where things were nearby. The room was great, spacious,clean, and modern. The bathroom was clean and the hair dryer was better than a lot of 3 stars I've been in. The water was hot every time we used the shower.Balacony was great looking out over the bar below and onto the main street. All in all, for the price paid for our 2 night stay and in a 1 star hotel, it was excellent and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Like everything these below could be improved to make it even better. Shower pressure Doors to balacony and main door could do with modernising

This hotel is fabulous. Its right in the heart of Cala d'or and a few feet from all the restaurants and bars. A short walk to the nearest beach too though we prefer to walk to the larger beach of Cala Ferrera which takes about 15 mins. The room was very comfortable with perfect air conditioning and a fan keeping the room nice and cool in hot temperatures. The breakfast is simple but great, cooked options as well as continental. Staff are all lovely and friendly. Such great value for money too! I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

There aren't many negatives to this place at all. Having a fridge in the room would have made it even better than it was. Perhaps the only slightly negative things would be the small balconies and the restaurant not having air con meant it was pretty warm, but these are minor things in what is an overall great hotel.

The staff really made this property special. Room attendants made the place sparkle and the receptionist, Miguel, was full of recommendations for places to see, places to eat and pretty much anything else you’re interested in! We also loved the fact that there was a pool table downstairs and a cafe oat the other entrance to the hotel - one of the best ice creams in town!

The facilities are rather basic, having said that they were clean (other than the mouldy aircon, which was a shame). But for the price in peak season I really cannot complain!!

Landlords were very nice and helpful with every case! A kind gentleman and the reception suggested to us what to see on the island and gave us a ton of tips for newcomers! The room was clean and cosy. The AC worked well and everything was clean. The service kept our room clean during the whole stay! I could definitely recommend the Antares to everyone! There is no dedicated parking for hotel guests, nevertheless you can easily find a free parking spot 500m from the property w/o much effort!

With this hotel’s star rating in mind, the stay was excellent and exceeded my expectations. All staff were friendly throughout. Room was modern, spacious and clean with a safe available if needed. Balcony spacious with space to dry clothes. Beds comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfast was a buffet of fruit, pastries, toast and usual drinks with an a la carte menu for hot food. Not many choices but again with the rating in mind it was lovely and all food was fresh. Location was great - in the heart of Cala D’or but not on one of the “rowdier” streets. Two beaches close by and also the marina plus Cala Egos area within 30-40 mins walking. Bus transport readily available and frequent if needed.

There is no lift despite rooms spreading across 2 stories. Not a problem for me as a young solo traveler with a carry-on bag but could be a struggle with more luggage. No TV available in the room but this wasn’t a problem for me personally. No complaints otherwise!

We moved here after our package hotel wasn't up to standard. We know the area well and had seen many local hotels from the outside on previous trips so this seemed worth a try. The staff were all pleasant & check-in was quick and easy. The room was well maintained and cleaned daily. Air conditioning was a major plus point. Breakfast was great for the price, we didn't expect to have cooked breakfast fresh to order! Overall, a very comfortable stay! Thank you.

Next time would request a front view room. Bathroom window can be looked into from other balconies, as my wife found out during a shower.

Very clean, although basic, it did the job for us as we arrived in the early hours and didn’t see the point is paying over £150 a night in our main hotel due to the lack of time spent there. Great communication throughout the booking period, very good location and great value for money.

We did arrive in the early hours, so we had very little sleep, but you could hear quite a bit of noise on the Main Street with vehicles and cleaning underway. It was quiet when the doors were closed, but had to have them open as couldn’t seem to get the AC to work.
