Perfect location the city is easily accessable by foot, we were travelling with our boxer dog and the hotel accommodation was perfect. There is a park with a dog play area opposite the hotel, but remember to keep your dog on the lead until you get to it. And close by to the dog area there is a cafe which was perfect for a beer or two. Plenty of tapas bars to go out and enjoy towards the city. Although in the summer it's very hot so leave until after 7 ish to take your dog out with you as the pavements become more shaded. The hotel is typically Ibis very dog friendly, the breakfast is absolutely fine for fuelling up for your travels. Be aware if you have a large vehicle, the parking is underground we got there early so that might have saved us a problem, we were driving a mitsubishi warrior but did manage to park no problem. The staff were all very polite👍

We appreciated how pet friendly this place was and the excellent location to the park. It was perfect for our dog. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good for the price and staff were friendly. Very efficient hotel.

The parking is very tight and it was hard to get our car in the space carefully. Be careful of larger cars trying to access the space as well. The AC wasn't working well either and our room stayed warmer than we preferred.

A slick modern hotel right in the centre of Salamanca. Just 5-10 minute walk to the main square and cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The young guy on reception took time to explain how to get to the best photo spots. We were able to park our motorcycle in the secure basement garage onsite. The inclusive breakfast was the best we've had at an Ibis. We will use this hotel again.

The aircon unit in our room (304) was noisy, which disturbed our sleep, even though it was switched off. The sink in the bathroom took a very long time to drain.

Convenient base for an overnight stay in Salamanca. It's a 10 minute walk to the Plaza Major and there is also a lovely park two minutes from the hotel for dog walking. On a Sunday night in September it was easy to find on-street parking close to the hotel. The room was pleasant enough, although the bathroom is a prefabricated plastic cabin that I associate with cheaper hotels.

The extra charge for a dog seems disproportionate - €10 for one night. Dogs don't generally create that much extra cleaning.... Also the parking garage was similarly expensive - we parked on the street without a problem.

Usual good standard that you get with Ibis hotels. Room was nice and clean. Location was good, about a 10 minute walk down hill into the centre but of course, up hill after a long day exploring the City.

The steep up hill walk back from the City Centre. Nothing can be done about that but could be mentioned in Hotel Literature.(We are both 70 and found it a bit of a struggle after a long day.

Location is excellent. Despite being in the city it is easy to drive to. Dog friendly although there is a 9€ supplement. Fabulous park opposite. Great for walking the dog with lovely cafe/eatery in the middle and an enclosed dog area. Hotel is a typical no frills Ibis. Clean and functional. Good size room. Easy walk around the compact city which has fabulous old buildings and many bars and restaurants.

Only slight difficulty was with the underground carpark. If you have a largish vehicle then everything is a bit tight. However, great to have a secure parking area and although an additional cost it was reasonable.

The ratio price/quality is quite high, as a general note. The hotel is located just outside the city center in a very calm and convenient area (the Cathedral is around 15 mins walking) and surrounded by free parking areas (it was quite easy to find a spot). It provided a very basic, but clean room and quite cheap tea and coffee in the breakfast/lounge room (if you don't eat breakfast like us, it's usually better to have an electric kettle in the room, but this was an excellent alternative). Amenities were not provided in the room directly, but were available on request (and that's a plus for me, as that is usually a waste of materials).

The city centre location. Great accessibility from the motorway into the city. Good natural light in the very clean and spacious room. However, whilst I appreciated the asset that the hotel offered in providing car parking I am the owner of a BMW X5, a big car. The parking is INCREDIBLY TIGHT with only one ramp to accommodate cars both going up and down two to three levels. Please be confident in your ability to manoeuvre in very tight spaces! big or small. I’m sharing this after a very stressful encounter halfway up the corkscrew ramp with an innocent Spanish father trying to evacuate his family from the car park. Fortunately my daughter speaks Spanish and therefore knew that this wasn’t a MANYANA MANYANA moment. We had to adopt the mindset of Latino man aka IT’S NOW OR NEVER and have faith in German engineering wrapped around us and a British KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON! mind set. I will use this hotel again, but arrive in a little one!

Everyone were so friendly and relaxed. They welcomed us and our little dog with open arms. The hotel is located just outside an amazing park with an area where dog can do agility. There is also a very busy Cafe in the park. The breakfast was informal, fresh, delicious. We couldn’t ask for more.

There are nothing we didn’t like

all great. easy to walk to the city centre bars restaurants etc. nice comfortable beds

the bathroom door needs fixing as very hard to open and therefore noisy especially at night the underground parking is for small cars or if you’re a great driver a medium car at best. don’t try to get in with a 7 series… you’ll struggle!
