Lighting in the bedroom could have been more powerful, especially for reading.

This hotel is located outside the city, but the location is perfect for visiting the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada. It has a private parking lot. There is a buss that takes you to the city center in 15 minutes. The staff is very welcoming and speaks English fluently (which is a bonus in Spain). They are happy to inform you on visiting the Alhambra, the city of Granada and nice walks in the Sierra Nevada. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. We got a room with a lovely view of the mountains. There is a small swimming pool (was not in use yet, as it was the beginning of April) and it has a terrace with with resting beds, surrounded by trees and shrubs, that create a welcoming shadow. The breakfast is a buffet offering toasted bread, croissants, local cakes, cold cuts of ham and different cheeses, boiled eggs, yoghurt and cereals. There's is a expresso machine making all kinds of great tasting coffees. We also stayed for dinner, which is easy after an exhausting visit of the Alhambra and the city of Granada or a long walk in the Sierra Nevada. The food was quite OK and meets the average taste of a tourist, but we would have loved even more local Spanish dishes - but that's a personal preference of course. Overall, this is a very nice hotel that offers a perfect service and a great quality/price ratio.

Cerro del Sol was freshly renovated and had a cozy feeling. The room was large, warm, and welcoming with a nice terrace and a view of the beautiful mountains. You could hear the birds singing. The Manager Gustavo and staff (Juanjo and another person) were also exceptional! They went above and beyond to help us secure ski passes to Sierra Nevada. They also printed out our tickets for the Alhambra, and set up breakfast really early in the morning, so that we could hit the slopes right when the ski resort opened. One notable item: the hotel is perfectly located if you want to ski and also spend time in Granada. Easy to park in their private lot, and then you can either drive 10 minutes into the city or take bus 33 from around the corner, it takes around 15-20 minutes. The bus leaves every 15 minutes and you simply walk down the hill about 7 min to the stop. The drive to the Sierra Nevada is about 35 minutes, and worth it. Hotels at the ski resort are like factories, worn and noisy, like airport hotels. And expensive too! So we were so happy to stay away from the hulabaloo at the top of the mountain and instead retreat to Cerro del Sol to rest-

Silly thing- I would only recommend that a couple of nice rugs could be placed on the floor to make the room even more cozy.

A hotel with great views and pleasant staff. There is absolute silence outside and you can relax. Granada is nearby, there is public transport. The Alhambra is 10 minutes by car, the center of Granada is 25 minutes by bus (if you want to indulge in restaurants and then not drive). The room is very clean, the shampoo smells very tasty (what kind of shampoo is this? Now I want one for myself).

Of course, our small car had difficulty climbing the mountain on which the hotel is located, and it would have been difficult to walk from the highway, so we only went by car (a very steep climb to the hotel). And a very small parking lot, but we found a place.

Nice and small hotel with friendly staff, that tries to be there for you at each step. Located in a quite street off the main street with a nice view of the mountain. Even thought location looks a bit outside of Granada, it's actually well connected for visiting the Alhambra.

Breakfast was definitely disappointing in terms of options, which is probably due to the low number of visitors they have. Dinner is definitely not a good option there, for the same reason. For some reason there was a lot of noise (shooting in the mountains, helicopters and some kind of music from a restaurant).

A real boutique hotel. Taking care of all details, walking the extra mile to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. I was there with my family and they equally enjoyed the place. So quite and peaceful feeling as soon as you enter the hotel with breathtaking spectacular snd scenic views. The hotel is very close to Alhambra, less than 10 minutes away I will definitely return for a longer stay just to relax and enjoy the swimming pool and the beautiful panoramic view from the pool. I also understand that there are good horse riding facilities nearby, so horse riders..... this is the place to be. Breakfast was so good with a nice spread, and most importantly, their coffee was just perfect. It really complemented the breakfast. The staff was very friendly. So overall, this hotel deserves a 10 rating.

All was perfect

We liked our room with the view of the mountains. The staff were great and really friendly and helpful - especially at reception where we had maps printed . He ordered us a taxi which took us directly to the best view point and then we walked back to the hotel along the river .

A disappointing meal in the restaurant on our second night .

Excellent location (at least with car), within residential area, few minutes to Ronda Sur ("highway"), 10 mins to Alhambra. Very friendly staff.

Lovely boutique hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. Genuine a warm welcome upon arrival and check-in was quick and efficient. Parking is immediately outside the hotel which is always a plus. Very tranquil environment which is exactly what we were looking for. Personalised service was wonderful, feels like a home from home. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and having a coffee or wine on the balcony with that view was amazing. Great breakfast and lunch. Swimming pool is refreshing for a morning or afternoon dip and again the views were stunning. We were looked after and really appreciated it. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Fantastic hotel. We had a room with a view of the mountains and the pool. Our room was spacious and felt authentic, with multiple places to sit. The pool area was relaxing with a gentle breeze, and gorgeous mountain views. Parking outside of the hotel was sometimes challenging but always worked out. I would recommend a car when visiting. We enjoyed the breakfast, despite limited options. The proximity to the Alhambra is a plus.

Breakfast could have more options, and should be of the same standard everyday (it was less busy on our last morning, and no tortilla omelette was served). The village down the hill is not worth a visit (Albanta restaurant is).
