The property is in a fantastic location, very easy to find and walking distance from the Donostia San Sebastián autobus and train station. Everything is so close to Urkia Pensión and it is also surrounded by fantastic bars and restaurants - so easy to enjoy the famed pinxtos. My room was spacious and clean and even had a fridge and microwave as well as kettle. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The bed was super comfy. The staff were particularly attentive and helpful - both Jorge and Juan offered me many tips on where to go and what to see while in the area. I was given a map and all the great places were marked. Highly recommend staying here and I will be back.

Excellent and comfortable property in great location in center of town. Juan at the front desk is a model for how staff should act and treat guests. Room was small but not too small and to be expected in Spain, but had all the comforts of home. Bathroom was of adequate size as was shower. Bed very comfortable and room quiet. Even had a mini fridge in room, which was a bonus. WiFi was also very strong. Excellent value for money during low season, as San Sebastián I'm told is the most expensive city in Spain. Only 10 minute walk from the bus and train station but if leaving by train, give yourself extra time as they are building a new station and getting to the temporary station is convoluted and tricky and the signage is poor.

Great location, really nice room with the balcony where is table and two chairs, clean. Lady, who welcomed us was really nice and Juan at the reception extremely helpful, spoke really good english and explained about what to see and do in San Sebastián and also recommended wonderful Pintxos and Tapas restaurants in old town. Dogs are welcome and they are aloud to come to the beach as well <3

The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from the hall and next door.

Great location in the modern part of the City. Close to everything including the Camino. One night the weather was so bad with Pelting rain and wind, I decided to stay in and watch movies. The bed was comfortable and the room cozy. I could have hot tea with the kettle and warm some leftovers in the microwave. It was easy to find coffee in the morning and food everywhere. I would stay here again.

As mentioned, thin walls, but I still slept well.

Good central location. plenty of facilities including microwave, kettle, portable oven and hob and very clean. Helpful staff. Dog friendly 10 Euros per night.

Room is smallish but fine for us. Be aware that that there’s no parking at the pension although they offer discounted parking at nearby Telpark underground car park. 25 euros instead of 35 euros. We knew this and the accommodation itself is very good value so that was fine.

The location was great - a short walk to the main beach and to the area with all the restaurants. The room was a great size and the bed was comfortable. The room was also clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is a pet-friendly accommodation, which I was a bit worried about, however I wasn't disturbed at all by any noise, and the room was really clean and fresh!

The bathroom was a little bit on the smaller side. The aircon in the room was a stand aircon, which was very loud. I would keep it on when I was out, and turn it down when I got back so it was a little quieter. The room was very hot without it so I did have to keep it on. This was a minor issue though - certainly not a dealbreaker.

1 - the room I was in must have been opposite reception area. Light on all night quite bright even with blind down. 2- was in front half of property. Room doors quite close. Slightly excess banging of doors. Noise at times . 3 left property at 10.00 am no signs of reception. So left keys. ( not handed to anyone ).

A lovely pension superbly located with easy walking access to everything that San Sebastian offers - old town with its teaming cafes and restaurants, the lovely beach, the Cathedral and beautiful basilique and the great shops on the door step. Step outside and turn into the first door on the right for coffee or lunch; perfect. The Pension is on the third floor with lift and stair access but there are about 12 steps to climb before the lift to level 2 or 3 from where you climb or descend another small flight of stairs to the entrance; it is unsuited for those with severe mobility or, perhaps, with heavy luggage. Our room had a small enclosed balcony where we could sit for breakfast or tea or to read a book - great. The room was nicely laid out, very clean and comfortable with a small bathroom - shower is a bit tight, if, like me, you like to splash around. Access in and out is with a key and electronic tag making it so easy to come and go.

Although we didn't need it, I think aircon would be needed in the summer.

Location is excellent, very central and within walking distance to the old quarter. Met quickly on arrival by a very friendly and pleasant host who gave us lots of advice and tips about where to eat and what to do in Donostia. Very clean and spacious and tea making facilities with access to a shared kitchen. A motorized fan in each room which is very handy.

When we arrived we rang a bell to grab the host's attention but it didn't work and we had no internet on our phones so could not call the number provided on the sheet. Just be aware you need to let the host know when you are arriving (which I neglected to do and then ran into this slight issue above) in advance as the host may be at another property five mins away and if you are unfortunate like us your phone will not work in Spain.

Relatively small room so that the 3 beds barely fit in there. However, just fine for the purpose. The fridge and the microwave are convenient to keep and prepare smaller snacks. Beds were very comfortable. About 5 min walk to the beach and even closer for tapas and drinks. Old town about a 10 minute walk.
