The location is great. You are near the boardwalk, many restaurants, and a close walk to the beach. We also had a beautiful harbour view. The staff overall were giving very minimal effort but staff member Sandra helped us a lot when we were having issues with the wifi. She contacted the service provider and rectified the issue on the spot.

The room was not the cleanest. Every day after cleaning there were dust bunnies floating around the room. The rooms are also quite dated but they are spacious. Additionally, the hand soup in the room ran out and was not refilled. The staff did not inform us about the services the hotel offered we had to discover everything on our own. For example, we were not told when breakfast was or how much it cost. We were not told that coffee and tea were offered via a machine downstair we just stumbled upon it. Later we learned this was at a charge even though there are no coffee machines or kettles in the room. I find that very strange and irregular.

It's location is fantastic, it is just next to Grao Port, and so half of the rooms have views to the Port and Sea, as the rooms come with balcony, it is great to sit there and relax with the magnificent views. The best restaurants are just in front of the hotel, so your gastronomic needs are also covered, and plus, there are many parking areas nearby so you won't struggle to park your car. Rooms come with plenty of space, with many places to store your luggage, a comfy and spatious bathrrom as well, however we found that some things could be better looked after, I am not talking about cleaning necessities, but about shower with some issues, some lights... Bed and pillows grant a great sleep. Staff members were very helpful and resolutive, it come out that I needed to work remotely one of the days and the provide me with a proper place to work and also allowed us a late Check-out (30€ extra cost).

Being a Pet-Friendly place, pets are not allowed into the restaurant, and for breakfast we were required to stay at a small backyard, which in fact was really nice, but I can't imagine doing that with bad weather or on winter. In my opinion, the place was a little bit overpriced, to mention that our stay was during their local holidays, but I have checked on different times of the year and prices are pretty much the same. Also breakfast is too expensive, I have been in other NH Hotels with better range of prices.

The hotel is not 3 stars, to mine opinion minimum 4! The room was big, the balcony with a sea view, the bathroom very comfortable and large. In front of the hotel we had a lot of very very tasty restaurants, nice bay to walk, the beach is so nice and the sea is very clean. We enjoyed a lot staying in this hotel and would not mind to come back there one day! Really good place to visit! Very nice breakfast and kind and polite staff! Thank you for this vacation!

The only one negative thing is that the beach is 20mins walk from the hotel buy we were by car and there is a big parking, so for us it wasn't a big problem)

Concert nearby lasted till 5am in the morning means it is very noisy. While it is no fault of the hotel, I wished the hotel told me this when I booked it as the rooms were quite pricey (peak season) - probably would not have booked it if I knew how noisy it would have been. Also room is a tad warm.

This hotel was an amazing discovery for us. The view from the window is incredible, very polite staff, the room is incredibly clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good, lots of choice and a very cozy restaurant. We did not expect that for such a cheap price in Spain you can find such an amazing hotel! Many thanks to the staff for their work, as the hotel is super clean. the room has everything you need in the bath, hair dryer, shampoos, gel, you can also ask for an iron at the reception

the bed was really big and comfortable, the room nice with a balcony facing the harbour, good shower room, nice having cool water at the reception area. all good. The breakfast service was great, with many options and good quality products. The staff were lovely too, specially the female receptionist, the housekeeper, and all the staff at the bar for breakfast, they were really nice.

Just a male receptionist was a bit rude when we asked him for a camomile at night, but anyone can have a bad day at work, so I don’t really blame him or let this affect the good review.

Nice hotel located near the waterfront & yacht marina. The outside of the hotel looked shabby and the sign is not obvious so we missed it on the first pass, but dont let this put you off. The inside public areas and the rooms have all been finished to a high standard and it was spotlessly clean. Dogs are accepted at €25 a night which I thought was a bit pricey but they do provide dog dishes and a nice comfy bed for him. Due to covid, breakfast is by timed slot and they serve you rather than it being a buffet, but it was OK and there was plenty of choice. There was plenty of restaurants opposite the hotel on the yacht marina. The hotel does not have its own parking, but street parking nearby was plentiful and failing that there is a carpark on the yacht marina and an underground parking under the marina shopping centre.

Nothing, we liked it all

NH Castellon Turcosa was a great place to stay. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean with plenty of storage space. The bed was large and very comfy with super crisp white sheets. The shower was great, powerful with lots of hot water. We had a balcony overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was delicious with a very wide range, from lots of fresh fruit to freshly cooked eggs, with lots of pastries too. Tea and coffee was available all day. There was an outside seating area which was very sheltered (it was quite windy when we were staying). There were lots of resturants nearby and the sandy beach was about 20mins gentle stroll. The staff were delightful always helpful and cheerful. If we ever go back to Castellon we would certainly stay at this hotel.

Nothing

The view was excelent, right over the harbour and port area of the Grau de Castellón. We had floor 5 room, front facing, with an absolutley huge window opening out onto a little terrace (with chairs). Spacious room with fully stocked little fridge. Good sized bathroom with lots of hooks and lots of hot water, and you didn't need to turn the light on in the middle of the night.

We found the room a bit too warm for our liking, but with the balcony door open we had cool outside air. Outside the hotel there wasn't a lot to do, and not too many places for 'decent' food out of season.

Beautiful quiet area. Beach about a ten minute walk but goes on for miles. Hotel is in a great location. Bus outside the hotel to city if you want to shop or Benicasim for change of scenery. Staff are friendly and helpful at the hotel. Local people are lovely but have very little English so work on your Spanish.

Hotel has no bar but there are a few nearby.. Monday night nearly everything closed.
