Hotel ideally located for car rental pick up/drop off, but although close to airport it’s not possible to walk there. Check-in and check-out was quick, and staff were very helpful. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was busy but plenty of choice in the buffet. Plenty of free outside parking in the hotel car park.

Still can’t believe the hotel is so close to the airport but because of the dual carriageway roads it is impossible to walk there. We were ok because we dropped our hire car off at the car rental place which was 2 minutes away and then used the car hire shuttle to get to the airport. Also the access road to the hotel is terrible - looks more like a pathway than a road and was in a dreadful condition - we found it hard to believe this road led to the hotel, even though I’d researched it beforehand.

Excellent hotel, perfect for my purposes.

Getting to the airport was awkward. I walked at 5:30am to catch my flight. I was told I had to cross the motorway. However, I found that I didn't have to. I walked along the side of the motorway, went under a flyover (which was misleading because it looked like I couldn't go any further, it was a dead end) but this led me to a makeshift carpark, went through this, past a garage, and lo and behold there was a walkway over the motorway that I hadn't been told about. You could easily pass it by and miss it. Still awkward to get to but a lot easier (and safer) than crossing the motorway.

Our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Málaga Airport was mostly pleasant. The room was clean and adequately sized, with a particularly spacious bathroom. The front desk staff were courteous and attentive, and we appreciated the early snack option available from 4 in the morning, perfect for travelers with early flights. Breakfast, starting from 7, was also convenient for an airport hotel. However, the hotel's location, while technically close to the airport, lacked pedestrian access, forcing us to take a bus route that significantly extended the journey time. The airport buses ran infrequently, every 30-40 minutes, and the 4 euro fare for a short 5-minute ride felt disproportionate. Overall, our stay was comfortable, but the transportation inconvenience was a notable drawback.

While the hotel itself was comfortable and the staff were accommodating, the inconvenience of accessing the airport on foot due to lack of pedestrian access was a significant drawback.

We liked the room and the breakfast was nice either. The location is fine, we walked from the airport which took us about 25 minutes and was like a little adventure. The stuff was great and very friendly.

Well, it’s not exactly about the property, but more about the fact that 5 minutes drive from the hotel to the airport costs around 20€ while a longer ride from the hotel to the city center would cost around 15€ for 20 minutes. That’s of course not hotel’s fault, just a general comment to warn people.

Walking distance to the airport (20-30 mins). We were two girls arrived in Malaga by plane at around 10:30 pm and we felt relatively safe to walk from the airport to the hotel. The staffs are friendly and the breakfast has a variety of options. Good value for the money!

The pillows are a bit low and the room was a bit cold

Although there is no sidewalk, you can walk from the airport, once you get out, you need to go through all the parkings that are on your right, carefully cross the street at the very end, few hundreds meters straight then turn left going under the bridge you'll find the hotel just after that

Very friendly service & professional staff. Good breakfast with nice variety of cold cuts, cheese, bread & croissants. The restaurant is open until midnight and the menu is very good.

They really should have an airport transfer service, like most airport hotels do. It does not have to be free of charge: if they would charge 5,-€/person I'm sure all guests would be happy to pay for the service... The local taxi companies take advantage of this shortcoming and charge exorbitant prices for a 1.2km trip as there is no alternative... PLEASE OFFER YOUR OWN AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE!!!

Perfect location - close to the airport. Nice, clean rooms, bar open until 1am. You can open the windows, which is not obvious in such hotels. I stayed alone: the room had unfortunately 2 separate beds (would have like a big bed). Booked early, I got a very good price. I noticed the price increased considerable towards the date of my trip

There is no airport shuttle. You have to take the bus from/to the airport if you want to avoid a tax (around €15). Walking is hardly an option. Bus (express line A) is OK, but the timing of the bus in the evening (claimed every 15-20 minutes or so) is not reliable: it almost took me more time waiting for the bus then flying time.

The staff here are excellent. Very friendly and professional. They were helpful on how to get in and out of Malaga centro, as well as informatioh on the best way to safely bike from the hotel. The room size is ample, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is free parking if you have a car.

While this hotel basically butts up to the airport, it is very difficult to walk to the airport. You will need to take a bus, taxi or drive yourself. I'd suggest the hotel put up "quiet hours", or advise late arriving guests to be considerate of those of us already asleep. I was awakened at 00:30 by screaming kids, and again at 02:30 by people moving beds together. This is not the hotel or hotel staff's "fault", but people should be reminded to observe quiet hours if they arrive late or leave early.

The room was tight. No airport transfer and walking is not recommended due to no clear pedestrian path. It costs 10 euro for 15’ Uber ride from Malaga center to the hotel and a 5’ taxi ride from the hotel to airport costs 16 euro. So even though the hotel is near airport, it doesnt save much time and cost vs. staying in Malaga centrum. The public bus stop, if travel from airport, is opposite of the hotel on the high way, so one has to cross a bridge over the high way to reach hotel (400m walk).
