The location was amazing. The staff, especially the front of house team, were all amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. Amazing bed and pillow options.

Some aspects of the room were a bit poor, e.g. espoused rough plaster behind he wall mounted TV, shaving mirror hanging off the wall, toilet rolls which do not fit on the folder. The breakfast offer was very poor, with little option available or not replenished most of the time. The hot food offering which was available was only warm. On our last morning, a bowl of tepidly warm scrambled eggs was put out which I stupidly, and unfortunately ate. I unfortunately suffered a dose of salmonella poisoning, which ruined the next two days , on the next leg of my holiday.

Very comfortable bed, good bathroom and shower. Good location, close to shops and the amazing food market, easy walk into old town. Some good restaurants and tapas just around the corner from the hotel which we found better and less touristy than in old town. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Location just a bit noisy (traffic) if you want to open up double glazing and shutters. (although it was perfectly quiet if you shut everything up and rely on a/c). Shame there wasnt some sort of bar to get a beer or glass of wine in the hotel itself. Beer in the minibar fridge, but not wine - a corkscrew and wine glass in the room would be useful.

The breakfast was excellent with a good range of food in pleasant surroundings with well spaced out tables. Staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring the food was always restocked. The well decorated room was spacious and very quiet with 2 large, adjoining twin beds , 2 chairs and coffee maker. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, booking taxis and recommending restaurants. The location was good, as it was an easy walk into the historic centre and the harbour area.

For us the only improvement could have been more hooks or towel rails in the bathroom; a minor detail.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Malaga just 5 minutes from the historic part of the town and 15-20 minutes from the city beach. Spacious, modern and clean room with a nice view. Although this is a busy part of the city, there are a lot of parking garages nearby. And if you are lucky, you can find parking spots near the hotel at some point during the day or night. Ask the staff for a parking garage discount.

Not much, really. The hotel was gorgeous and well-positioned. Finding parking was a bit challenging.

They saved us from a late night flight cancellation at Malaga Airport. We know the location well as we have family 2 minutes walk away, but it was too late at night and too little notice for us to stay with them. We were booked in via Booking.com within 5 minutes of the flight cancellation and back at the hotel in time for dinner just before 10.00 pm. We were there for less than 24 hours, but everyone and everything was perfect. The location is great. You are within walking distance of pretty much everything that the centre of Malaga has to offer.

We had an unexpected free room upgrade, which wasn't even mentioned at check-in - not something that's ever happened to us before and the suite was amazing! Really clean space, huge comfortable bed, great views across the city. Nice staff and seamless check-in/check-out process. We appreciated that the complimentary chocolates happened to be dairy-free, which meant we could enjoy them. Good location and very handy for the train stations.

It was a little noisy, fine for me but a little tricky for my partner who is a lighter sleeper.

We had a room on the third floor, just above palmas with green parrots and with a nice street view. Alrhough the street is relatively frequent, there was no noise in the room. The room was not big but well equipped and we were satisfied there. The staff was smiling and helpful. The hotel location is great, just at the edge of the old town but at the same time it is perfectly reachable by trains (Malaga centre) and buses and also at walking distance from the Maria Zambrano train station. Beaches are about 20-30 mins far by walk or few stations by buses. There are also supermarkets near the hotel. Breakfasts were at the above average level but still not excellent. Food in the city centre is great but it is better to follow e.g. TripAdvisor to get the best at reasonable price. Malaga is a city full of beautiful galleries, it is great to visit some.

Sometimes there was a strange smell in the hotel and some equipment was a bit worn-down. Prices should be a bit lower but still we were satisfied there.

Super location. We caught a train from the airport into Malaga and the hotel was only a two minute walk from the station. It was then only a five minute walk into the city centre. We travelled as two couples. The rooms were lovely with windows and shutters opening onto the street, thus adding lots of character. There was a bit of an issue with one of the bathroom floors having hairs on but it was easily sorted by ourselves rather than complaining. We all agreed that after travelling across Andalusia for 9 days this was our favourite hotel.

Beautiful building and the interior was very well done for the modern minimalist look. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is great, near lots of restaurants and shops and a 20min walk to the beach. Great place to stay for a solo traveler.

Can’t fault much about my stay, the only things I would say is the hot breakfast could change a bit daily. Especially with being a vegetarian there is obviously a lot of ham/ meat as the option. Out of vanity I would would comment that the room was missing a full length mirror.

The room was large and clean, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and a selection of different pillows to suit every type of sleeper. Not too noisy even though room facing the street. Felt safe as a female solo traveller.

After staying in another 4* hotel down the road, this one felt a bit basic, lacking the little extras that make the experience (slippers, bath robes). It also didn't have any hair conditioner or body lotion in the bathroom, although I believe you could've asked the reception. I was told to use the Nespresso machine to make a cup of tea but you could only fit a tiny espresso cup in it; a kettle would've been nice. Only a few local channels on TV.
