The staff were excellent. Sham that when we got to the hotel was already fully booked. The staff phoned up a sister hotel about 5 miles away, they did have spare rooms and kindly paid for a taxi to get is there.

Booking.com are completely useless. They managed to allow 3 different customers to book rooms in the hotel that was already fully booked. Not ideal when you arrive at 1am in a strange city in a strange land when you are not conversant in the language. Of course, you can never contact them wondering what they can do to help.

Good value, friendly staff who were very helpful and very convenient for the airport for a 6:05am flight! 3 course set evening meal for 18€ was exceptional. Outside pool was very welcome given the heat.

One room had a blocked sink and a bedside bulb that was out of order (the other was OK) but I'd hope that was a one off. Also it took a while to get the door unlocked for the interconnecting rooms. We weren't able to avail of the shuttle bus as we couldn't find it going to the hotel and it wasn't running as it was too early on our return to the airport. All of these are minor niggles and didn't really detract from our otherwise positive experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Negative reviews from some guests about its proximity to the airport and the highway were unjustified (if you don't want to be close to the airport, then don't choose an airport hotel). After a phone arrangement, we were allowed an early check-in. We had a standard room on the ground floor, which was clean, spacious, and had a functional air conditioning. Everything was in order. The hotel offers a sunny terrace with sun loungers and a small pool. Since our flight was late at night, this hotel was ideal. During the day, we enjoyed the sun by the pool, and later at night, we easily reached the airport. The hotel also provides airport transfer.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, airport shuttle service fast reliable and free and the staff were all lovely especially Carmen and David at the front desk who were so friendly and helpful, the only staff member that let them down was one of the cleaning ladies who seemed to have an issue that we booked a late check out and was quite rude, we stayed here when we first arrived and came back to stay when we were leaving as it's so close to the airport and the metro station is 5min walk away and takes about 20mins to get into the city, super handy. The buffet breakfast was lovely and a reasonable price, I got the swimming pool to myself both mornings that I went, it was a little busier in the evening but still plenty of space. We didn't have a plug for our chargers and reception was kind enough to help us out, all in all great place, would definitely book again!

I wasn't a fan of the pizza, the cheese was too runny for me and the chicken fingers weren't the nicest, however that's down to personal preference that's why I haven't marked the score down. Also didn't mark the score of the staff down as majority were fantastic, just that one cleaning lady that I found quite rude shouting to me when I passed her in the corridor and scowling, speaking to me in Spanish, I apologised and said I couldn't speak Spanish, she continued so I had to work out what she was asking and she basically wanted to know when we were leaving even though she was already informed by Carmen the day before, made me uncomfortable about staying later even tho I had paid for the late check out.

We arrived very late. The night staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us as the booking.com taxi request was not filled and my son was left abandoned with my 4 year old grand daughter at the airport as no taxi would bring them. The staff arranged a private car to collect them and for that I am very grateful. The breakfast was lovely and well worth the money.

DO NOT USE the booking.com app for taxi transfers, it is completly rubbish. It let my family down significantly, and the fault on the app did the same thing to my friend I was travelling with.

We booked the hotel following a flight cancellation, and couldn't have been happier, the team on the desk and in the restaurant were fantastic, and made us feel very welcome while helping us at a very challenging time. Hotel was very conveniently located for the airport, it's alongside a busy road, but no noise in the hotel itself. Don't take the location / front of the building at face value - inside was much nicer and we would recommend. It's used widely by flight staff, which probably tells you all you need to know

I chose this hotel because I had an early flight, and it is located at 3 minutes from the airport by car. The hotel offers a shuttle service, and everything went well. But the hotel is really beautiful, with large rooms, very clean, well equipped with desk, safe, minibar, closet, a large bathroom with everything.

Nothing bad to say really. The surrounding area is not that nice, it's next to a highway and the surrounding streets look sketchy. It is a bit far from the center, but it is an excellent choice for a quick shuttle to the airport. The center can be reached by taxi in 15 minutes (around 14 euro), or by metro (40 min). I used both, but I recommend the taxi.

A very nice airport hotel! We had previously stayed in the Travelodge nearby at the beginning of our stay. After a few issues at the Travelodge, I decided to cancel and book somewhere else. I'm really glad I did! Port Azafata feels much more like a nice hotel than an airport hotel. The room was spacious and tidy, the bar was very nice and the staff were really helpful. There's even a pool and a really nice outdoor seating area. We had a great stay and I would definitely book again.

The hotel is right next to a busy road and the airport, so the areas outside are noisy, as is to be expected in this location. I would advise asking for a quiet room at the back of the hotel if you're a light sleeper and bringing earplugs. The soundproofing in our quiet room was very good and we weren't disturbed at all. A kettle in the room would have been nice, but I know continental hotels often don't have something like that. I asked at the bar for hot water and cups - they gave them with no charge and were very helpful. We had our own teabags in our bags anyway. The bathroom in the room we had had a frosted glass wall and door. If you go too near the wall, you can see everything. Ok for a couple but for friends or parents and a child, it might be something to be aware of.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the airport (can be reached on foot but i strongly advise not to as it is very close to the motorway and busy road), this being the main reason for our booking, since we had an early morning flight it would be better for us to be closer to the airport and get an extra couple of hours sleep. When we stepped through the front door it was like walking into paradise, a refreshing cold breeze was coming from the lobby ( our car was showing 32C outside and we were baking like fresh bread in a hot oven for over 2 hours), the entrance and lobby were sparkling clean with shilling floors and lots of comfy seats in the waiting area. We approached the reception desk and a friendly gentleman asked for our names and gave us the keys to our room on the second floor and explained to us that breakfast was served from 7.30am to 10.30am, however, if we needed to leave really early, an early bird breakkie could be arranged between 4.30am and 6.30am. This was really surprising and very welcoming as most of the hotels we stayed never made such offer and, although we would not need it, it was good to learn that the property was going the extra mile for people leaving extremely early to take the first flights. Our room was exactly as per pictures on the website and it was spotless. Not luxurious for a 4 stars hotel but extremely clean and inviting. No dust to be seen anywhere, toilets were very clean and modern and crispy white bed linen was laid for us. Towels were nice and soft and very white (on some hotels they have that yellowish/greyish white colour). Wi-fi was good enough and mattress was comfortable and firm. BREAKFAST WAS REALLY GOOD - IT IS WORTH THE EXTRA FEW EUROS.

We found few things could be better, for instance, the toiletries could be a bit more in line with other 4 stars hotels and include proper shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion. Water pressure was not the best, still provided a good shower in comparison to other placed we have stayed but could be improved. Pillows are my petty hate and this hotel was not different, pillows were not comfortable for my like ( too soft and offering little support to your neck and head) and no spares were to be found in t. he wardrobe. No wall sockets near the bed and we had to leave mobiles charging far away on the desk. Regarding cleanliness I can only fault one thing, the curtain / sunblind was damaged and needed a good clean.

The staff was very nice and helpful, we got free transfer to the airport and and a free glass of the local champagne (cava) at the bar. The room was clean. The hotel is very close to the airport, it was a 1 minute taxi ride.

The air conditioning system was turned off (the temperature was ok in the beginning of October but in the midst of a summer it could be a problem). The hotel is on an industrial site it was quite complicated (for us) to find the hotel from the airport on foot (though they offer free transfer which we forgot to book). We could have a good use of an electric kettle.
