Wow! What a hidden gem - in the olive groves above Montrose - wonderful setting, beautifully restored finca in lovely grounds with a large swimming pool. Such a warm welcome (with a glass of cava) from Sandra….and it just got better. Very stylish, comfortable rooms with en suites, thoughtfully providing good toiletries and all that was needed. All the staff were fantastic and did everything to make our stay so enjoyable with delicious food, locally sourced. It was so relaxing to stay in such tranquil surroundings. It was a shame that we only had one night in such a wonderful place.

Nothing! It was superb!

Such a cool place! The owners are so so kind and welcoming. After seeing some previous bad comments about the pool we can contest the opposite, the water was perfectly fine! It's a large pool and open 24hrs so we had a wonderful evening swim! The room is spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated. The shower was awesome, great pressure and no problems with temperature. Safe internal parking.

Soundproofing could be greatly improved, despite the walls being thick, there is very audible noise that can be heard from neighbouring rooms.

It is a beautiful place surrounded by olive orchards with a great history. The restaurant still contains a number of old olive processing equipment from the past. The breakfast was adequate and included in the room rate.

They advertised thar staff speaks several languages. However, the 2 staff members there didn't speak English and were not able to answer our questions. We were the only guests until another couple showed up later. The place looked deserted. Our room was very hot at night. Dinner was not worth the price.

Converted 18th C olive mill, small 8 room boutique hotel. Pet friendly, lovely swimming pool with plenty of loungers, pool towels and robes provided. Wonderful views across olive groves. Beautifully furnished public spaces, comfortable bedrooms, good wifi, lots of hot water. Antonio the owner is charming and helpful, nothing is too much to ask of him when it comes to customer service. Delicious breakfast and fantastic dinner menu. 10 minute drive to Montoro.

Very relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy escaping the heat with some swims in the pool. Onsite restaurant meant did not have to leave. Enormous room and very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. About 10 minutes drive from Montero which is worth stopping to look at.

Only real area for improvement would be if restaurant service staff were a bit more accessible during service.. they were possibly busy elsewhere on the property but it was sometimes difficult to catch their attention.

We stayed here as we were on a long drive to the south of Spain. Everything exceeded our expectations, especially the service and food. From the very start, when we made enquiries about bringing our dog and needing dinner, staff replied promptly and warmly. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and looked after above and beyond the call of duty by Alejandro and the rest of the staff. It felt like a welcoming family hotel and anyone looking for a base in the region should stay here. They do star gazing, picnics for walks, the rural olive grove setting is gorgeous, close enough to Montoro and Cordoba if you fancied that, there is wheelchair access, a nice pool, electric car charge ports, a telescope, the list goes on. Very comfy lounge area for hanging out indoors, rooms overlooking a beautiful courtyard with orange trees with outside seating, and a fabulous dining room with old olive press machinery intact. The FOOD IS AMAZING. Fresh, good quantity, unfussy, value for money. We had fish, pasta and a dessert, and also a lovely breakfast. The vibe is rural style, the room was large, they seem eco conscious, and thoughtful. Some parts of the hotel might need refreshing but nothing urgently so. And the affordable price was a bonus. Highly recommended. Incidentally, the hotel was having solar panels installed (which didn't affect us at all) and had in actuality closed, but stayed open to us as we had booked in advance. We had been put in a room furthest away from potential noise and looked after so well we didn't notice anything amiss and only wondered why it was so quiet!

The hotel is placed in the middle of a large area planted with olive trees in the plain land-side. Nothing for people seeking parties and entertainment the like. However, if you need a quiet place to relax the perfect location! The next village is about 8km away. The room was very nice and the beds comfy. The breakfast was very good.

Great location to escape from the world. The hotel building is historic and beautiful. The surrounding view was incredible. A large room with a terrace Comfortable public areas to sit in.

Weak WiFi. Confusing menu, we didn't understand fully what's available to eat or to order at breakfast and dinner. No where close to buy a snack and they don't offer any at the hotel. During the day there were no staff to be found. We arrived to the hotel and had to search around and knock on doors to find the receptionist.

Location is surreal, amidst infinite olive tree orchards, inside an olive mill that stopped operating! Great stay to relax and enjoy nature. Sandra was very sweet, went out of her way to make sure our stay is flawless. She warmly welcomed us when we arrived. It felt like going home! Had dinner and breakfast—was heartfelt and delicious. Wish I would have stayed longer!

Stunning peaceful location, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff - greeted us with a glass of cold cava 👌Breakfast was tasty, fresh and plentiful. We enjoyed a wander around the olive groves before driving on.

Was a little tricky to find. Quite a few dinner menu options weren't available. We didn't see know there was a night sky observation platform till the morning after our stay 😔
