The structure is fairly new, the staff is very nice and the breakfast is great

It has the potential to be a real four stars but is missing details, there is just one unidentified soap in the shower, no conditioner, no cream. If you have a late flight they offer to store the bags and a room to shower, this is a nice detail but it falls short as the room provided to shower is dirty with no soap. So either they should offer a comple service or it would be better not to provide the shower. The level of cleanliness is just not great even around the pool. Also it is allowed to smoke around the pool and in the jacuzzi. Also allowed to smoke at the outside restaurant… potential to be four stars in reality but not yet…

Really wonderful 5-night stay! I was so impressed from the minute I walked in. The reception staff are outstanding and welcoming which is always a treat. The hotel gives off that typical beach vibe ambiance. Beautiful pool area with comfortable sun loungers. My room far exceeded my expectations. very comfortable and spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool area and distant ocean. Lovely, simple and laid-back breakfast. Walking distance to the beach and entertainment spots. Little further walk if you want to head out to visit the Dunes and beaches beyond the Dunes- but so worth the walk! Everything is easily accessible especially to and from the airport. I will most definitely be back!!

Regarding the bathroom Toiletries... there was no Shampoo/Conditioner/Body cream supplied in the bathroom- I usually bring my own however for a 4-star hotel I imagined they would have provided these. However, this was a small issue and didn't interfere with my holiday at his fab hotel!! :) (Would be great if these could be supplied!)

Recently renovated, this hotel is in a convent location if you’re planning to visit playa del ingles and its surroundings. Yumbo center is just a 5 minute-walk. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is good and offer many different options.

The pool area does not have enough sun beds compared to the number of guests staying here. Signs placed through the elevators, remind guests that it is forbidden to reserve sun beds by placing towels and whatnot on top of them, but uncivilized tourists just don’t care and the rule is not enforced at all. Therefore many people place their belongings on many beds, leaving those who would actually use them without a place to lay down. If you don’t go very early you won’t find any sun beds available. It’s funny that most “reserved” sun beds remained unused for many hours, so I wonder what is the point in doing so.

Perfect location close to Playa del Ingles and the Maspalomas dunes. We had a car and there was lots of free parking on the streets around the hotel no problem. Gorgeous large, clean and refurbished rooms with balconies where you could sit at a table and enjoy the evenings. The pool was big and lovely. Hot tubs and lots of loungers. Showers and toilets around the pool. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices fried or fruit and cereals. Also had chefs making an omelette for us every morning, other things like crepes and toasted cheese etc were available. Staff were very friendly. Cleaners did a superb job every day. Can’t fault any part of the hotel. Very good value for money too.

Didn’t get a late check out but the hotel was full so fair enough.

Spacious modern rooms with a large and comfortable bed. All rooms have a mini bar. We enjoyed a room overlooking the pool and were amazed at the morning sunrise views. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Hot items made to order, smoothie station and a wide selection of pastries, cheeses, sliced meats and fruits. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the beach. A good selection of very good restaurants close to the hotel for evening meals. Small grocery store around the corner with good wines.

The hotel is located a bit of a walk (15-20 minutes) to the nearest bus stops on Avenue Gran Canaria or Yumbo shopping centre but the taxi was very inexpensive. (5 Euro) Arriving by bus from the airport-- take the bus to Playa de Ingles and get out at Yumbo shopping centre. There are many taxis in the area to take the rest of the way to the hotel. Taxi to the lighthouse beach at Faro -Massapalomas was 10 Euro.

Quiet location of my room in the “middle” section as you exit the lifts, so rooms ending 17/18/19/20/21 area are overlooking the pool and away from noisy traffic on either side and a noisy glass recycling bin on the street edge as you enter by the supermarket.

I sent several messages on the booking dot com app, and queries prior to arrival which were not answered or acknowledged. Also the hotel charged my credit card the full amount for the whole stay on my card on check in (and not on departure as I was told by booking dot com) One of the staff chef cutting the fruits at breakfast buffet was coughing frequently over his work and not putting his hand up or coughing to his elbow repeatedly which was a bit off putting - others noticed this too, no “manager” around as such

We had an exceptional experience, with so many aspects of the hotel and service we found amazing... all the little things, attention to detail, value for money, etc: 1. Right at the reception, we were greeted by smiling, helpful receptionists and prosecco welcome drink. Special thanks to Alisya at the reception, she was just a joy, so helpful and nice 2. The room was big, clean, nicely renovated. Just great 3. Location is pretty good, 20 mins walk to Playa del Ingles, or 20 mins walk to the Dunes. Yumbo centre is like 10 mins. Everything is closeby 4. Food was amazing. Really shows they put an effort in. We had both breakfast and dinner multiple times at the hotel, which is just unusual for me. However, the food was great and great variety. Also, different from day to day, not just putting out the same thing every day. Dinner for 20 EUR per person buffet, with even freshly prepared-to-order options... that's amazing value for money. Breakfast was also great, especially the freshly made omelettes. Another big highlight goes to the guy making the omelettes, he is welcoming, hospitable, polite, etc... Just amazing 5. and many other little things... some nice 6 Dec Saint Nicholas Day decorations and cookies in the lobby or that our taxi we asked to pre-book arrived 10 mins early just in case, etc. So organized, smooth-running, attentive staff I could go on and on. We had an amazing time, one of the best value-for-money experiences I've had.

Noise insulation could be an issue. Fortunately, I booked a suite on the top floor, so we were not all that surrounded by other rooms, but I could tell the door and the walls were not all that noise-insulating Beds are twin beds that are pushed together to form a kind of king size bed. Would be preferable to have a king size bed without the gap in the middle.

The hotel was renovated and we had a clean and spacious room. The breakfast was very generous, with fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff was professional and promptly helped us with whatever we needed. The location of the hotel is close to shopping center and in the neighborhood there are many restaurants. We did not use the pool, but we used another facility that the hotel put at the disposal, the free bus to go to the beach. The hotel also provided access to the gym nearby. The wi-fi was good enough for our needs.

The beds could have been comfier. The blue light always on at the balcony may be an issue for some people. In our case, the drapes were sufficient to not see this light.

My partner and I stayed at this wonderful hotel, HL Rondo, for six nights and will be checking out on Saturday. We've been visiting Gran Canaria for nearly 15 years, and I must say, this is one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Firstly, we noticed a significant post-COVID regeneration of the hotels in Playa Del Inglés, including your own. The check-in process was smooth, and we were delighted to be offered complimentary champagne on arrival. The reception staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We were allocated Room 411, a Superior Junior Suite, which is fantastically spacious. The room had a separate sleeping area, a large bathroom with a double vanity sink, toilet, and a lovely powerful shower. The balcony overlooks the pool and offers a wonderful view over the resort towards the beach. We were staying on a half-board basis, and the breakfast selection is excellent, with a great mix of cooked breakfast, cereals, as well as fruit and cheese. Dinner features salads, cooked-to-order meat and fish, and a fantastic selection of desserts. The pool area is clean and a real sun trap, with sunshine most of the day. The sun beds are comfy, and the day beds are a great addition. We are about an 8 to 9-minute walk to the Yumbo Centre and 15 minutes to the beach. Additionally, there's a supermarket just below the hotel and a pharmacy a few minutes away. We also used the laundrette, which is a 2-minute walk and costs 5 euros per wash. In addition to all these, the hotel offers a range of facilities that have made our stay even more enjoyable. The gym is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights, As well as daily pool activities from the entertainment team. Overall, we feel this was a fantastic hotel for the price, offering excellent accommodation. The staff are fantastic, always going above and beyond, and the hotel is spotlessly clean. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Nothing - was fantastic.

The stuff was amazing, especially the Receptionist Giusi, she was beyond helpful, always friendly and smiling. The guys from the pool bar and the big waiter in the restaurant were also amazing. The location is right next to Yumbo, everything is on walking distance. The room are big enough, I've been told they were all renovated, even some details could be more done (coffe Maschine in the room, full mini bar, soundproofing on the entrance door erc.). The bed were big and comfy, the only problems is that they are 2 single beds "connected" together, which is actually only on the bottom base. The upper parts, which are on top mattresses, are separating or moving sometimes, depends how you sleep of course. The cleaning ladys were helpful, even though you had to remind them often whst you need extra or what they forgot to put, and sometimes you have the feeling that they cleaned the room too quickly :) however this changes imidiatelly when you give them some tipps ;) The breakfast was good, preety basic, here they should definitely improve more, like bigger variety etc. The pool is great, clean and big enough, the only thing is that officially is till 6 p.m. open (no lifeguard after, even there is no need of one), and there is sun at the pool at least till 7.30 p.m., so it should be longer open. It was gay pride so most of the guests were LGBT and the stuff was super gay friendly, which is super important for Maspalomas! :)

There was a problem with the air conditioning once, so there was one night without A/C, otherwise everything was great.
