Well located and even off site parking convenient. Lots of Pintxos bars close to the hotel. We had a spacious corner room which was luxurious with full floor to ceiling windows which opened.. Breakfast was very fresh and replenished frequently with sufficient choice. Would stay again. Ring hotel to be guided due to building works and one way street. Park first.

Would be helpful if the back entrance close the car park also had the name on the door as we walked around the block unnecessarily after a long complicated drive. Due to building works it was a bit hard.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was well appointed with a comfortable bed and a balcony with a sea view. We appreciated the air conditioning. The bar and dining area and other public spaces are very elegantly furnished and we enjoyed having a drink and sitting in them to read the paper..

Twice staff forgot to refill our tea, milk and coffee and we had to ask reception for refills.Breakfast is expensive if you don't eat a lot in the morning as it is a flat rate whether you eat 3 courses or just have a croissant and coffee. We only had it once for this reason.

It was a great area, right in the city next to a beautiful leafy square. The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable in a building with character. We loved, having a big comfortable bed and a kettle plus a coffee maker. We would definitely stay here again..

The shower was wonderful, great water pressure, but for absolute perfection we would have liked a bath tub too. However, that is a minor niggle.. Also, another little niggle was there was no plain yoghurt at breakfast. We don't like the flavoured stuff because of the sugar content. However the breakfast otherwise was great, plenty of choices.

Our first night was at a good price. We then decided to stay at second night. The second night was just over the top expensive. And our room was not a fancy room. A very very nice room and we were happy with it, but it was in a converted attic of the hotel. If the room price had stayed the same price, or even just a bit more, we would give this hotel 5 stars. But the price increased 60%. I know price is based on demand but it sure didn't seem busy on a Monday. Also, I do wish we could have eaten at the restaurant. My husband likes a big breakfast but I mainly just have coffee but was told I'd have to pay for the full buffet as well. So we ended up not eating there.

Blissful Boutique We arrived after a short walk from the bus station less than 1km away. We were greeted by the receptionist and carried out the booking in process. We took the glass lift to the fourth floor (414) is a beautiful room, well presented and very clean. The facilities are very very good and we were told the hotel had only been open for eight months. The spiral staircase in the room is a novelty and as we climbed the stairs we were disappointed that more had not been made of this huge space. We had breakfast late one day and there was a good choice of continental but not so much hot food available. However more was provided a little later. I borrowed a corkscrew from the bar and the gentleman was happily to help me. We stopped off and had a drink in the cafeteria before heading out to dinner. The barman said hello to me in the street. I was in a world of my own and only realised later and apologised to him. This old building has been systematically turned into a boutique hotel. They have retained the character of the building whilst updating it and making it luxurious to stay in. We had a fantastic time and wish everyone at the hotel the very best of luck for the future. Excellent location, well-maintained property, comfortable bed, free and environmentally friendly water bottles daily, coffee machine, kettle, Nespresso coffee pods and high quality teas. Spacious bathroom, luxury toiletries, quality towels, very clean. Beautifully stocked mini-bar, more than enough hangers (important!) and super friendly Reception team. There is a great archeological museum nearby, several spectacular churches, good cafeterias, shops, interesting market, a skating rink... Take a boat trip from the peer (5 min walk). And The Botín Centre was so impressive!

This can easily be a 5-star hotel… all that is needed is a pair of slippers, better hairdryer, a slightly better breakfast.

Staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us when our reservation for another hotel - the night before we were due to arrive at the Soho Boutique Palacio de Pimbo - went awry. The bed was wonderfully comfortable in a large room with a great shower.. The location was close to the waterfront and its park, museum and ferry landing and in the midst of numerous places to eat.

There was a skylight directly over our king sized bed. As there was no blackout shade, there was too much light and I had to wear my eyeshades all night. There was a low, deep rumble from above/side which we attributed to the a/c, but as I use "white noise" at night, it wasn't bothersome.

Extremely experienced and super warm welcoming stuff, one of the best experience of hospitality level during our week trip over Cantabria. The room was clean and cosy, the bed super comfortable. The room had smaller windows that on photo as it was located on the last floor and but it was comer room with two windows so enough light but less noise. Moreover the room had the second floor and great views over the city. High quality linen and cosmetics. The location of the hotel may be not optimal for those travelling by car as there is no parking at the hotel and the closest one had no space when we arrived but that was not a big deal for us to walk a little bit as we usually don’t have much luggage. With regards to the price - would say this hotel is an ideal opting to spent couple of days in Santander, definitely would stay again!

Centrally located hotel with an interior with nice historic features. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was fresh water in the room every day along with a top up of coffee capsules and flavoured teas.

The hotel shared the premises with a naval association and the breakfast area was only available for breakfast so no bar area within the hotel. The layout was slightly strange due to the sharing arrangement with separate lifts for the hotel and the association and both tucked away a bit from the reception. The next door building was being rebuilt from shell upwards but no noise until after 9.00am. Close to the main city sights and the tapas bars etc.

The location could not be better, right in the centre of Santander! The building was beautiful the room was spacious and had the largest bed I have ever slept on which was also very comfortable. The room was tasteful and nice and overall quite value for money.

We had been given a room opposite of the cleaner's closet and they weren't very mindful of the fact that there is a room right opposite. From quite early in the morning there was quite a bit of noise and cluttering and slamming of the door. I suggest that the hotel moves the cabinet with the cleaning equipment somewhere where there are no rooms to bother. A 5 star hotel is only good if you can enjoy it.
