Staff were top class and location perfect. Room was clean and comfortable with sufficient space for 3 people. Cool water available in reception was a welcome addition in such a warm climate.

Hotel booked on Tuesday evening for Thursday arrival but no mention of closure on booking. com or hotel website. Availability of pool was important part of booking decision.

We stayed for one night for the Christmas holidays and from the second we walked in the staff were so friendly and attentive. We needed parking and parked at the shopping centre car park a few mins walk away. Make sure you tell the staff at reception as they will give you a print out doc to take to the car park and then you get the parking for €20. The rooms were really nice and spacious and a huge bed! Also had some English channels which was a nice suprise so watched an English film after the day out. Love the fact they are dog friendly and my dog Pepi enjoyed his stay. They left him a water bowl, food bowl, bed and a treat. Breakfast was lovely. You can't take your dog in the breakfast hall so my husband went down to have his and bought mine up to the room The roof top is lovely to see the lights and sunset. This is the second time we stayed in Sevilla, first time at this hotel and we can't wait to come back and stay at this hotel again!

Location is very good, room quite big and average breakfast. The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay which meant that some of the lift did not work and on some of the floor one had to carry the cases up a number of steps. (not ideal) Breakfast is very geared towards the Spanish tourist with lots of sugary sweets, the choice of breads was not very good. There was however lots of fresh fruit available, coffee is very good and also Cava is available for an early alcohol fix. The matrasses are of a very high quality and the shower in the bathroom is large and functional.

Not a lot of variation for breakfast when you stay for a number of days. Also the stairs that have to be climbed due to the renovation, and which was not mentioned when we made the reservation. Do not book your return taxi to the airport through the hotel as you will pay an additional 15 Euro. Uber is by far the cheapest way to travel to and from the airport.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bécquer in a Junior Suite, which was truly luxurious. The room was beautifully furnished with a large and extremely comfortable bed, a sofa, a spacious bathroom, and plenty of closet space—perfect for longer stays. There was also a large desk, which was very practical as I often worked on my computer in the evenings. My room had a closed balcony facing the street, but thanks to the excellent soundproofing, it was very quiet. The WiFi worked flawlessly throughout my stay. Even though the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, I barely noticed it. The only impact was that the breakfast room was located in the basement, but it was still well set up and offered an excellent breakfast buffet. Additionally, there is a beautiful rooftop area with a small swimming pool (which, however, was empty in February), and the rooftop bar was also closed during my stay. Nevertheless, guests could still sit upstairs and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Cathedral. The staff at both the reception and breakfast service were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location in the El Arenal neighborhood is fantastic – just a short walk to major attractions like the Cathedral and the Triana neighborhood. Despite being in the heart of the city, the hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding streets are full of traditional tapas bars, cafés, and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

The only small downside (and this is really nitpicking) was that there was no power outlet directly at the desk to plug in my laptop.

Superb location and rooms very quiet despite being in a very central location beside busy roads. Good breakfast, large comfortable room with a massive king size bed and choice of pillows. Due to ongoing renovations public areas were limited but complimentary coffee station with free drinks and pastries was a nice touch and all staff we encountered were fantastic.

The currently limited public space due to ongoing renovations with a temporary reception through what I assume is normally a service area. These ongoing works were advertised on the hotel website but some construction noise before 8am was intrusive. Not sure whether prices have been reduced to compensate for reduced facilities, no bar etc.

Hotel was in an excellent location, all staff were welcoming attentive and professional. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice. Renovations are being undertaken at the hotel which did not cause any disruption or impact on our stay. A welcome bonus was coffee corner after a day of sightseeing. On arrival we were upgraded and told we were special guests and through out our stay we truly felt special. The room appeared newly refurbished to a high standard, with all necessaries and added extras including, Bath robe, slippers, sleeping kits (eye mask and ear plugs) not forgetting the tooth brush kit, vanity and shoe shinning kit. We enjoyed the balcony with a view over the rooftops and cathedral. We had complimentary gifts biscuits, bag and mug to celebrate my birthday which were a lovely surprised. Truly wonderful stay.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Check-in was a great experience; the receptionist showed excellent hospitality skills, we felt welcome, and that welcome came from the heart and the soul. It was not a standard welcome you receive in the majority of the hotels. The room is lovely, well arranged and equipped, all needed for a 2-day stay. The stay in this hotel gave us first-hand experience of Seville, and we observed the city through this experience; whatever we did, it was terrific. Second, breakfast was lovely, too, with lots to choose from, with a Spanish and Andalusian touch; there were delicious vegetarian options, too. The choice of herbal teas was excellent, too. Check-out was done professionally. I was sad to leave this superb hotel, but we were off to Malaga :) Thank you all for making our stay so lovely. I am glad I took some time and did good research before booking. This made a lot of difference; without trusting your guests, you cannot have a successful hospitality business, and the hotel team made us feel so welcome. Thank you to the entire hotel team. I am unsure what to write here; everything was better than expected.

A very warm welcome at the temporary reception desk Upgraded to a great room - v nice modern extension wing. Even the hotel corridors are high grade with ambient lighting etc . large clean room - "special guest status" was good - they even reserved a table at breakfast ( not really needed though!) a wonderful terrace with great views across to the cathedral v helpful staff

- hotel undergoing major upgrade - will be finished in the next month and although the work is sectioned off, there is still some noise and disruption. - this also means there was no hot breakfast items due to kitchen relocation - eg no eggs / bacon etc - the finished state will be a very nice reception area and courtyard etc .

The Bécquer Hotel made us feel at home with its comfort, elegance, and friendliness. Our stay was marked by the attention and kindness of the staff towards the guests, as well as the quality and comfort of the facilities. The location couldn’t be better, as it is in the center but on a quiet street. We would like to suggest adding scrambled eggs or omelets to the breakfast. However, the thoughtfulness of gifting me a birthday cake and the staff singing happy birthday made us forget about the eggs.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and polite staff, who always greeted us with a smile and were more than happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was modern and recently refurbished, featuring a wonderfully comfortable bed. It was also impressively quiet—we slept so well and never heard any noise, even though there was building work going on in the hotel. The cleanliness was outstanding; the entire hotel was spotless, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere. The thoughtful little gifts left in the room added a special touch to our stay. Plus, the hotel’s location was perfect for exploring Sevilla, making it an ideal choice for anyone visiting the city. We honestly can’t fault anything about our experience and will definitely be returning on our next trip. Highly recommend!
