Everything was spotless, with great service for check-in and -out. The lobby was nice, and free coffee+pastries very appreciated. Rooms are comfy, spacious enough and with good soundproofing and desk to boot. Also, courtesy aperitif and sweet wine makes you feel at home from the get go. Main city attractions are an 8-10 minute walk away.

Minor thing, but instead of helping schedule taxis, the reception desk encourages to go out and look for one across the street.

Simply the best - exceptional This was an excellent hotel, and a great find. The hospitality of all staff, the care, friendliness and professionalism made our stay enjoyable. Well located in the centre in the old quarter and well connected with public transport and walkable to main sights of interest. We are a family of 5 and arrived in the early hours due to flight delays and were greeted by Antonio with a friendly smile who made us feel very welcome and was always happy to help during our stay. All the staff at each area of hotel were kind, smiling and always happy to help. We booked two rooms and they also accommodated our special request. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, they go above and beyond. Great pool, pillows for good nights sleep. The housekeeping service was excellent, the cleanliness and hygiene was superb and contributed to our stay. We were all provided with fresh bottled water daily (grateful for it especially in the hot weather reaching 42 degrees!) Hotel provided free daily lovely pastries/snacks, variety of coffees and fresh water for all the guests. I liked this touch as food should be for all not for the few. The breakfast was of high quality produce, a wide variety to select and were of very good taste. The only comment I would add is to offer more vegetarian option. They had a wide selection of teas from around the world and freshly squeezed orange juice, as Seville is the enchanting city of oranges. Great ambience, our stay was sublime. It was centrally located, lush comfy beds, we had an enclosed balcony - unexpected. Complimentary sleep kits, toiletries and free coffee / juice / water / pastries / nuts. You also could choose what pillow you wanted to use. This was our fave hotel of our trip and would def come back. We plan to revisit

Unfortunately there was some building work on the two floor above us which meant we were woken earlier than anticipated. The staff were very apologetic. Pool was smaller than it looked and not deep. More of a dunking pool to cool down, however did the job and the views were fab!

I liked the location was in the heart of all the restaurants of the city with everything like restaurants, bakeries etc. In walking distance. There was plentiful Aircon which was important for the August heat. Downstairs in the lobby there was always iced water and cups for guests to help themselves to. I always found space in the pool and deck chairs during my stay too. Staff were really kind and helpful to me with any queries. Even on checkout the receptionist asked if I needed to stow my bags. As a solo female traveller I found the area really safe.

Everything was great, I have no complaints.

My friend and I had two stays at your hotel. We preferred our room on the fourth floor to the more sterile, sleek 6th floor we also stayed in. Both were clean and comfortable. The fourth floor room smelled slightly of smoke, though (not pleasant). The front desk told us a taxi to the airport would be 25 euro. It was 34.60 euro, including a 4.60 city tax (I think is how the taxi driver explained it). We could afford the extra 9.60 euro, but it would have been better not to be surprised (and we seemed rude when we challenged the taxi driver on the price, which was uncomfortable).

Pretty much everything! The location is ideal and makes it possible to walk to most of the major attractions. The room was great with a really comfortable bed and welcome wine and snack. Spotlessly clean. The staff are superb! Maria and Antonio on the reception desk were great fun and really helpful. Macarena, Jose and Jesus in the restaurant were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and we looked forward to a 'top drawer' breakfast every morning. So much to choose from!! Free coffee and tea available all day. Small swimming pool on the roof! There is so much to be impressed by with this hotel. We have stayed at various hotels around the world and this is amongst our favorites!! We will definitely be returning!!! An excellent hotel very well located with such great staff and impeccably clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful. We didn’t get it inclusive in our rate but ate there two out of our four mornings in Seville. The continual self service of free coffee, cold drinks and snacks an added bonus. The pool with bar facilities and view of the cathedral also great for a refresh after sightseeing.

There was some refurbishment of some rooms going on but we were warned of it and it didn’t affect our stay.

We were 100% satisfied with everything provided by Hotel Bécquer during our 5 night stay, with breakfast. The location, close to bus station, the old town and all main attractions is superb. Our twin room was big, very quiet and well equipped with everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was a leisurely experience in a large spacious area and we found it to be very good value. The range of food and drinks was excellent and supplies were replenished without any delay. A cheerful chef was present to cook eggs upon request and there were many other staff on hand to assist in any way possible. Free coffee, cold drinks and snacks were available all day in the lounge. Our stay was a five-star experience.

Absolutely nothing.

Great location and staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and buffet breakfast was lovely (wonderful that breakfast served till 11am which meant we could have a lay-in!!). Great roof top views. We found the 12.00 checkout time and spacious waiting area in the air-conditioned reception (snacks and drinks provided) was very welcome given the heat outside and our late scheduled departure

Pool was smaller than we expected but this didn't detract from our overall experience

The hotel is in a fabulous location, near the Cathedral and Alcaraz, less than ten minutes walk although it is on a busy road it was very quiet. Room was very nice and very clean, beds and pillows were very, very comfortable. The pool area is very nice, with free towels and a free cocktail given at times. Free snacks , coffee and juice in lounge area, lovely pastries. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. All round great experience.
