When you step into the lobby you are greeted by the captivating charm of old Spanish architecture. The staff met expectations. A special mention goes to the breakfast attendant, whose warm demeanor and infectious smile made morning a delightful start to the day. Their attentiveness and friendly service added an extra layer of comfort to our stay, making us feel truly welcomed. The hotel's prime location is a significant highlight. Situated within walking distance of key attractions, it made exploring the area incredibly convenient.

The worn-out furniture was a noticeable downside, detracting from the overall aesthetic appeal of the room. Furthermore, the quality of the towels left much to be desired, as they appeared old and somewhat unpleasant. One of the most significant issues I encountered was the foul smell emanating from the bathroom pipes, which was quite off-putting and affected my comfort during the stay.

Location is near the main sites such as the cathedral and palace. City is walkable, lots of superb bars to visit Hotel is a restaurant with rooms, beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Would recommend for couples who are used to more independent travel.

Reception is not what you would get in a hotel but staff are available to talk to if needed as setting up the restaurant and bar for lunches and evening meals so this was not a problem Beds needed more pillows and no spares on the room and you had to ask if anything needed to be replenished, this is I usually replaced on hotels and spares in the wardrobe Just little bits to change to give a five star experience

My stay in the Hotel Alabardero was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in my life, we were very well-received by the employees, especially Alvaro! Everyone who worked there was super nice and my room was ready very quickly. Everything was clean, and they allowed us to leave our bags there before and after our check in. The room was perfect, very spacious, comfortable, had AC which was left on so we would arrive with the room in the perfect temperature as the city was burning up outside due to the summer temperatures. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Seville, you can get to anywhere in the city from the hotel fairly easily.

Great hotel in somewhat historical building. There are 2 restaurants right in the hotel. Each room has a name rather than a number, and there aren't many rooms. Vintage decorations create nice atmosphere. Location is great - we were able to walk to the Cathedral in less than 10 min. The dinner in the restaurant was great, so was the breakfast.

It would be great to have a relaxing space at the rooftop terrace on the 3rd floor, instead it is just an empty space - what a lost opportunity. Also, the waiter in the restaurant recommended Alabardero River Club as another restaurant to try paella, we went there and it was quite average.

We arrived around 12:30 in the afternoon, but the room was already cleaned, so they let us checked in before the check in time. Unfortunately, I found my wallet was stolen at the Alkazar Palace,in the morning, the lady at the reception helped me to find the police station where there is someone can speak English and even let let me use their phone to call Japan for blocking my credit card. The day we were leaving, our flight was early. We requested to have our breakfast at 6:30,they usually open at 8:00, they were very kind to open earlier! Their hospitality is amazing! I would definitely choose Alabardero next time again!!!

This hotel is beautiful. The courtyard when you enter is lovely and there's a welcoming bar. Although it was December and a little cold the hotel and room was cosy and warm. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was exceptional. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and tasty with coffee, toast, croissants, ham, cheese, fruit and coffee. All of the staff were friendly and professional and gave a very personal service. We would definitely return.

Beautiful old hotel with a wonderful central atrium in a great location for bars, restaurants and key sights. Comfortable room with large bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.

There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room The central atrium, although beautiful, magnified the noises from the ground floor up into the rooms and we were woken most mornings by the staff working downstairs.

The hotel is excellently situated for the central tourist attractions: a five minute walk takes you to the cathedral. There was no breakfast option, but there are numerous cafes from which to choose, so this proved to be a positive rather than a negative.

The hotel is a traditional Seville building with only a small number of rooms and 2 excellent restaurants open to the (discerning) public. We were served an excellent continental breakfast. The staff were polite and efficient. The hotel is very well located for the cathedral and other tourist attractions, flamenco venues, restaurants, river bars.

We were there for only a 1 night and found nothing to dislike - an all round excellent establishment for staying in Seville.

We were bowled over by the first impression as the lobby includes a beautiful bar with a mezzanine two story balcony above it. The hotel only has six rooms all named after small Andalucian cities. It is an incredibly traditional building, beautifully appointed, with just gorgeous decor. Alvaro who welcomed us was friendly, informative and relaxed - all the staff seemed happy to be there and were so helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed wandering round the reception rooms and was very tempted to have dinner at the hotel (wish we had!!) Breakfast wasn't included but I went down and ordered coffee and orange juice (shame it wasn't freshly squeezed) and it was lovely to chill in our beautiful room, Jaen. Location great.

Someone people may prefer somewhere more modern. We loved the old style key/wardrobes/furniture.
