Very charming hotel, accommodating staff and very quiet

The terrace was not fully private and the breakfast was limited in choice. Residents should have use of the garden when restaurant is closed.

This rustic hotel is located close to the Sitges railway station and at a walking distance from the town center and the beaches. It's beautifully decorated with antique furniture, and the restaurant is in the garden adjacent to the building. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was good. Given the prices of hotels during high season, this was great value for money.

While the breakfast was good, the choice of healthier options was too limited. The antique furniture is beautiful but could use some upkeep and TLC. And occasionally I found sand on the room floor, but this could have been my own doing, as you tend to carry some in your clothes coming back from the beach.

We have stayed here before and booked again as the hotel is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and has a really romantic ambience. Our room was an inner room so very quiet and beds were comfortable .

My partner did want to do some work on his laptop during our stay , the bedroom furniture did not comfortably allow for this and when he asked was there somewhere else to work from , he was told no , unfortunately the large garden is closed between breakfast and when the restaurant opens , otherwise this would have been ideal.

I’m in love with this place; it is like a museum. I booked a room with a terrace, and the terrace was large with comfortable furniture, easy to relax and fall asleep on. I would change the bed for a larger one as I am a larger person and am used to my king at home (which would be difficult given the antique nature of it and the narrowness of the room). I see in another review that there is a jacuzzi and recliners on the roof. I can’t comment on this or if they’re available as I didn’t know about them. I will investigate the next time, and I will be returning. The other thing I would change, as I see is mentioned by other reviewers also, is to open the garden to residents after breakfast for a while so they can sit with a book or whatever. Reason being, there are few to none places in Sitges to escape for the sun without having to pay coupled with, especially on a longer stay, the human need for more space beyond the bedroom, and the garden is a lovely retreat. Again, I did not see the rooftop setup. The staff were the loveliest, warm and attending, and the owner is a lovely gentle and character also. I had the impression that he would be lovely to work for and everyone is comfortable in their work there.

A lovely well cared for garden where a good choice of breakfast is served , also evening restaurant in season. I appreciated the period character of the building , it could be used as a set for a Harry Potter movie !

I'm not a dog person so the owners dog hanging about the tables was a negative, although staff did their best to stop it. My room was quiet ( tip , the refrigerator is noisy so turn it off overnight if you are a light sleeper ) and there was no significant street noise from scooters etc. Unfortunately I did not find the bed and bedding comfortable , but that is more my problem as I don't find it easy to get off to sleep anywhere away from home .

Beautiful baroque-style hotel that was formerly a music school. The owners have decorated the spaces beautifully from the entrance lane, to the back garden and interior - the hotel has a rich feel to it. The staff member that greeted me was very pleasant and helpful, providing everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel is well located; right beside the train and 5min walk to the centre and beach. I didn’t get a chance to have breakfast, but am sure it was fab. I also received a free room upgrade with a huge terrace which I enjoyed coming home to after a day at the beach. Would stay again and recommend anyone else to do so!

Breakfast was included and was lovely...the restaurant is beautiful and a wonderful place to relax with a coffee at the end of the day. Our room was completely over the top and we loved it....gold accessories and drapes were fabulous!

the gardens are stunning, the staff were exceptional! I mainly dealt with Gee & Loolee (sorry, I didn’t learn how to spell it) who spoke perfect English & were both extremely smiley, polite, and professional with everything I asked

probably just bad timing (pre-season) but the jacuzzi, bar and gym were all closed. there were a few noises at night that may have kept a lighter sleeper awake - water running through pipes and occasional tapping sounds (Otello was my room, just off the main foyer in reception)

The breakfast was poor with absolutely uneatable fruits in the middle of summer in Spain — this is absolutely scandalous! Also you have to ask for everything: you can't just take a juice or coffee and drink it. You'll have to wait for it... Also the roof with a jacuzzi and sun loungers are sooo dirty you can't even touch it.

The Grand Royal Rooms Hotel is the most fabulously Stylish and Charming hotel in Sitges.

The owners and their fabulously attentive team were marvellous. such lovely charming hosts. All of the Royal Rooms Team including the Housekeeping team were so great, nothing was too much trouble.
