Room was great, spacious, quiet and had a large balcony. Superb breakfast, lots of choice both hot and cold food. Location is perfect right near the centre. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Towels were changed daily and the room was also cleaned every day. Rooftop in the annexe was nice to relax on with a perfect jacuzzi.

There were not enough sun loungers by the pool, and every day the same people put their towels down even though they were requested not to. Wasn’t able to sit by the pool once. The shower was really awkward to get in and out of as a glass screen covered most of the bath.

The staff here are lovely, always welcoming and glad to see you return. You feel like a valued guest and they go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay.

So firstly, we’ve been coming here for over 10 years and we love this hotel. But, the truth is, the place needs money spending on it. It is looking very tired and worn both in the rooms and in the communal areas. The whole place needs new decoration and new furniture, to make it look more fresh and modern. The lounge area desperately needs new chairs. It all feels a little faded.

In terms of what we paid to stay at the Galeón it was far better than expected. We were very happy with the value for money. The staff were very friendly, understanding and very accommodating. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. Certainly worth having for price. The rooms were lovely! Clean, spacious and modern. But our favourite part about the hotel was certainly the location! Absolutely phenomenal you won’t find better right in the heart of the town and very easy to find. Would definitely recommend anyone on a budget to stay here. It will meet all your needs. Would stay again.

We didn’t use the pool area as it looked quite small and shaded in parts. And no tea coffee facilities in room.

This hotel is an absolute gem. The location is superb being in the heart of the old town. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It isn’t a modern hotel but has an authentic, Spanish, rustic charm. The breakfast is first class with plenty of everything you could possibly wish for and is served up until midday! The staff are efficient and friendly. We stayed in the actual hotel building but there are other rooms in a building behind the swimming pool - everyone we spoke to was very happy with their rooms. I must mention our balcony was adjoining the next rooms balcony so if you’re not particularly sociable this may be an issue for you. The swimming pool was nice with a handful of sun beds which was enough as the hotel do not allow guests to reserve them - hooray! A refreshing lemon drink made in the hotel kitchen is available to guests all afternoon, complimentary. I could go on but I think you should find out for yourself what else this fabulous little hotel has to offer. Enjoy.

Breakfast were up to their usual very high standard. Plenty of options to have. My room was the best for me. Very good size, Comfortable, cleaned every day and on the first floor (601) which was perfect. I was in the Galeon Pavilion building which was great for me. Close to the railway station. I really enjoyed the Jacuzzi on the roof top. Giving residents exclusive privacy.

The Galeon Hotel was perfect for me. There was not anything I didn’t like. That’s why I return to the Galeon every time I holiday in Sitges. My favourite hotel

room was large and the bed comfortable. Bathroom good with excellent multi shower. The breakfast is a highlight of the Galeon, and the staff in there so cheerful and helpful. wide range of savoury breakfast dishes, and eggs cooked to order. The area is great with super boutiques and restaurants all around.

Sadly, and this is for the first time in my experience over many visits, there was a group of very loud and disruptive women who took over the pool area daily, and for my part made it unusable. I think the area should be supervised more to deal with antisocial behaviour. I was further embarrassed that they were British !

The location is great. Close to the Mercado and the train station. A short walk to the beach and located at the pedestrian area. Lots of amenities and services provided. For 10€ deposit for a clean beach towel and can change it daily after use. Pool area is relaxing and quiet. They even provide drinks at the entrance and high tea services in the afternoon. The breakfast can’t be better. Best breakfast ever with lots of varieties. The young men at the breakfast serving us is so polite and charming. The bed is very comfortable.

The hotel needs some renovation to modernize it but overall the hotel is maintained quite well.

Food is always amazing, location is spot on and staff couldn't be nicer. You will struggle to find a better value for money hotel in sitges with regards to the breakfast on offer. Always happy to go back to the Galeon every time I go to Sitges. The bed is absolutely huge and very comfortable. I recommend trying to get a room in the newer part of the hotel as the rooms are bigger and more comfortable! Again, the staff are incredible!

The hotel turns off the AC when its not Summer. There is no option to request it being turned on which I think is a little unfair as its advertised as having AC. We stayed in the newer section of the hotel where the balcony faces the street which can be incredibly loud at night if you keep the doors open. We were forced to keep the doors open as the AC was not operating and it was warm. It was April when we went so I feel that the AC should at least have been optional on a per room request basis during this month.

The staff was excellent, they were very helpful, spoke italian, spanish, english. Room was as described and you could see the staff doing deep cleaning of common areas every day. The breakfast included in the price was better than in some 5 star hotels we have been. A selection of different danish pastries and croissant/toast, a big selection of antipasti, full english breakfast, sweet treats, different types of coffees including a selection of nespresso professional as well as bean to cup machines, 4-5 milk alternatives. and a few bottles of CAVA to start your day with some bubbles. No need to worry about getting a sun unbrella or beach towel as you can borrow them from the hotel for free (you trade eur 10 for each and once you return the items you get the money back, you are entitled to exchange wet/dirty for fresh towels for no charge, and you are free to use them at the pool or take them to the beach. Hint: On the top of the annex is a private jacuzzy that most guests to not use as they prefer the garden one, but it was our favourite place to relax, with nice views of Sitges rooftops.

The only issue was the minibar that was working but was not cooling at all.
