This was a great stay just outside the downtown core - super close for a quick stroll to all the action, while quiet enough if that is what you are looking for. The buffet breakfast was great, and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby. There is also underground parking at the hotel - super convenient. The staff are very nice and the additional spa services are very relaxing at an additional cost. Thanks.

Location of this hotel is exceptional. View from the balcony (we had room with a view on a first floor) was great: as promised you could see cost of Africa. They even have binoculars in the room. We could see port of Tarifa. We didn't use pool, just picked at it and it was very nice rooftop pool with a view. Parking was located underground which was very convenient. Breakfast buffet was excellent, I enjoyed selection of fruit, they even had persimmons! Room was clean and so bed sheets. Daily room cleaning. On Fridays there is live music in hotel's restaurant. I wish we got upgraded to rooms on second floor but that wasn't an option. We enjoyed our stay and I recommend the hotel highly.

I would stay in this hotel again without reservations. However to make my review useful to others I would point out some things that are not ideal. We had very tall bathtub combined with shower. It wasn't great to get in and out but then it was as pictured. I was glad I had my own shampoo etc. since hotel uses refillable containers. Our room was situated above restaurant's outdoor seating and smell of food was strong at times. Temperature controls prevent setting temperature lower than 21 degrees.

We loved everything: the rooms, the common area, all the facilities, the staff, the breakfast. I would rate 11 instead of 10! Everything in the hotel was new, clean and fine. Everyone of the staff was kind and helpful. Nonetheless, we were travelling with a 2-year-old toddler and everything was easy to access also with him: there where toys free to use we never felt out of place though the high standard of the hotel. The infinity pool also was beautiful and easy to use for us and for our toddler, as half of it it was covered and so protected from the wind. We had no time to try the restaurant for dinner, the spa and the free activities (yoga, pilates …) organized everyday, but they seemed to be very nice. The breakfast was delicious and cared for in detail, moreover there were fruit, water and popcorn always available through the day at the reception. The hotel has a parking and Tarifa’s town center is few meters away, so are the beaches and the port. Finally, the value for the money was good. …i have stayed in several hotels in my life, both with family and when travelling for work, this tops most of them and I would highly recommend it!

Front desk staff provided exceptional service, helping us with parking our rental car, answering all our questions in English and being genuinely warm and welcoming. The restaurant food was delicious and fresh with wonderful vegetables, particularly the eggplant. On top of this we had a free flamenco performance in which guitar, singer and dancer were all quite good. We went to Tangier, Morocco one day and our hotel packed us a “picnic” breakfast which was so generous we would have had enough food for the full day , not just the ferry ride. The hotel is a short walk from the ferry and was so convenient. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast buffet top notch—beautifully set out and generous. We would highly recommend The Spa and Residencia Puerto

There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke not too strong, but present, in our room. Opening the windows for a few hors took care of that

the atmosphere was fantastic, the hotel staff could not look after you enough the Spa facilities were second to none, we drank at the hotel and found the prices to be very reasonable they had a flamenco act on the Sunday night which was great to see we came to the hotel as we were celebrating two birthdays and wow we were not disappointed we will definitely be coming back even just for a day trip to use the spa facilities and enjoy the amazing food thank to everyone at the hotel 10 out of 10

The hotel has beautiful décor with a Moroccan influence. It is very clean with a comfortable bed in a spacious room. Parking can be booked internally. The showering products and welcome mini bar are wonderful. The hotel is close to the Port and Ferry terminal which was ideal for our trip across to Tangier. There are lots of restaurants and tapas bars within easy walking distance. The hotel reception and breakfast staff were great.

The room was very hot when we came in each day after travelling, and the air conditioning unit was sluggish - it was also set so it would not go below 21 degrees (but the embodied heat was greater). When we opened the doors for better ventilation/ cooling, but it was very noisy - mainly from large seagulls that seem to be awake all through the night! While we appreciated and supported the no plastics and sustainable aspects- the inability to have a room that we could cool to a comfortable sleeping temperature particularly for the cost per night, did not represent value for money for us, in all other respects, it was excellent.

The welcome by front of house was excellent. The room was as good as we had expected, clean ample space. The parking was easy, The swimming pool was a lovely and a good temperature for December.

TV did not work as the channels had been tampered Dinner was rushed, our main course arrived when we were not even halfway through our starter. It was taken back but kept warm under a heat lamp. Breakfast was fine but we were told it was all in the buffet. When we had virtually finished we were asked if we would like some eggs cooked. I would have enjoyed eggs rather tham the cold buffet I had already eaten. Why not have a simple sign on the tables, 'eggs cooked to order'

Location was excellent. Breakfast there was a good choice. Breakfast, restaurant and bar staff were really attentive and good with our toddler. The spa was lovely.

Reception staff seemed uninterested and not very helpful. Entertainment in the restaurant was loud for our patio room. Air con was not constant which made the room hot at night and there was no ventilation in the bathroom.

I love this hotel so much. I try to get dinner there, but it was always busy because it's so popular. I loved my room and I love the fresh water in the hallway. I love the shower. I love the location and it was great.

I love the pool I swim at night under the stars, but it was not as warm as I would've liked it, but it was still great and it was in November so still it was an amazing pool. I just wish it was warmer.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The view from the rooftop pool was amazing. The location was perfect for our day trip, via ferry, to Tangier. The ferry terminal is just a few minutes walk away. Our room had a nice little patio with small table. The second night (after a long day trip to Morocco) we enjoyed sitting on the patio.

We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant the first night. The food was just ok and was rather expensive for the quality and quantity we received. Much higher than we paid elsewhere, at much nice hotel restaurants in Spain. Drinks at the bar are quite steep to, compared to elsewhere in Spain.
