This hotel served us as a nice oasis on a hot summer day while travelling Estepona-Gibraltar-Seville. Pool was very refreshing at +38 air temperature. Good location if you have a car: close to Tarifa and since the beach had many algae, which our kids didn't like, we chose to go to Playa Bolonia, which is also just a short drive. Although I and my wife would have stayed in Tarifa beach, which was totally empty. Sounds like a good place for relaxing getaway. Also, they served inexpensive breakfast.

Beach is actually about 500 m from the hotel. Breakfast was very light (but it is true in many other places in Spain). Rooms might need refurbishment soon, but are still good for 3*. A bit pricey.

The location is great, within walking distance from Arte Vida and Africana chiringuitos on the beach and a short drive from the old town. The rooms are clean, a decent size, with comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant food smells amazing and there is always clientel coming and going which is a good sign. Overall, I would recommend and would book again.

The aircon unit seemed old and wasn't really working, so it was quite warm in the room. We managed opening the window but can imagine in the full heat of summer a functioning aircon would be required or at least a fan in the room.

Beautiful accommodation in the most tranquil and peaceful setting. It was just what my husband and I needed to unwind after our hectic day as we traveled through Spain. We really enjoyed chatting with the lovely and friendly owners/hosts. We had a very memorable stay and we highly recommend this accommodation.

the pool was great, the patio in front of the bungalow was beautiful, the dinners at the restaurant delicious, breakfast was basic but good (4,5 euro withouht the orange juice and 6,5 with), the place was quiet and it was precious to wake up to the birds singing.

the busy road we had to cross to go to the beach.

We had a bungalow that was in the interior courtyard which meant that we did not hear any noise from the traffic or restaurant at the front. The interior courtyard is beautiful, you can enjoy some sun bathing there or have a dip in the pool. Rooms are small and basic (apart from an empty mini fridge and some furniture, there isn't much in terms of facilities), but beds were comfy and bathroom was decent. Place was clean. Also enjoyed the table in the mini terrace at the entry of the bungalow, perfect to having your coffee, drinks or eating

AC didn't work, but we were lucky enough to have perfect weather and not a lot of heat during the night. Loads of mosquitoes both outside and inside the rooms (killed about 8-10 in the 2 rooms we had), luckily we took care of them before we went to sleep. No tea or coffee making facilities, probably to encourage buying this from the restaurant (1.5EUR for coffee)

Very charming hotel in a very good location. We stayed in the low-rise rooms at the back of the property. Nicely sized rooms with ground floor terraces, great pool at the back of the property. Atmospheric dining room and friendly staff upon check-in. The hotel is directly across the road from a beautiful beach and the scenic Afrikana Beach Bar.

breakfast was basic but good, fresh orange and very good coffee, evening meal was excellent ! pricey but good quality. the room at the back, facing the mountains , above the restaurant was very quiet, so we had a good night sleep with plenty of fresh air via the open window. plenty of free car park. staff very helpful

bathroom very basic, no space for toilet bag with products etc.. the small empty fridge was extremely noisy, so we had to unplug it !

Convenient to the beach and the highway and Tarifa. The bungalows were away from the road with the pool behind them. The food was good, the rooms were clean and the bathrooms very nice. A great place to stay for a visit to Tarifa and Gibraltar.

Hotel, wonderful restaurant, friendly staff, comfortable beds and bathroom, good lighting in room, large swimming pool, nice grounds, great location near kite surfing beaches..

Grab rail in shower needs tightening. The shower floor was slippery.

Breakfast was very tasty and good value. The gardens were really nice as was the swimming pool. The lady on reception was excellent as was the guy on breakfasts

The two, male, staff who were looking after the bar and restaurant were rather grumpy and unwelcoming
