I had very little expectations due to the very good price which even included the breakfast in my case. I only arrived in the evening from the Airport and left the next day. But I was surprised by many things in this Hotel. The warm welcome of the night audit/young receptionist. (sorry forgot his name but he was very nice.) The Hotel itself which immediately took me back in time where these nice small hotels where our summer vacation place in the childhood. It was very clean everywhere, furniture & building was very well maintained and taken care of. You could see one is proud of this property and the people proud working there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💚 You get to the upper floor by stairs or (which was important to me due to injury) by elevator. The Elevator seamed pretty new and also clean. My room was spacious and had a small balcony looking out to the back gardens/terrace of the Hotel which was very nice and quite. I had a mini fridge and a good size bathroom with walk in shower which was super clean as well. (I am looking everywhere and I am prepared to disinfect rooms myself if needed.) This was very nice and no need for me to do any work.🙏🏻 Big Closet with a safe and a desk as well as Suitcase rack and AC which worked perfectly. The hotel has covered parking, a nice pool and is only s a few minutes away from the beachwalk. Breakfast next morning was more than one can eat. Good selection of everything and was constantly refilled. A very nice surprise was also the lady at Front Desk Mercedes (not sure if she was the hotel manager) which was actually waiting for me in the morning as I said I am an early swimmer and this pool would normally only open at 9am...but she made sure I could swim early!💚 She was also most attentive and helpful with contacts to local agents for renting & buying a property as I asked her if she knows anyone. We had a long chat and I had the feeling knowing her forever! Unbelievable nice! THANK you for this pleasant stay!

Nothing to complain about. I will definitely come back. The reason why I am writing this review in english is that there were more lovely english guests. I didnt meet any germans actually. But nationality is never a criteria for me to choose a hotel.

Breakfast was very good—a selection of cold cuts plus some sausages and eggs. The staff helping there was terrific. Our flight out was very early, so we had to take a taxi (arranged by the hotel too - not much more expensive than Uber). The concern was breakfast, but they offered to prepare breakfast for 4 AM for us (we actually picked the hour). Was a short stay, but everything worked (including AC which was very helpful on those hot days).

Coffee could be better.

Arcos de Montemar is a lovely small hotel - a 10min walk from Montemar train station (downhill). Five minutes walk to La Carihuela beach. Bus stop just outside the hotel. Super friendly staff make for a very relaxing stay! Quiet aircon, bar fridge in the room, ask at reception for a kettle. Lovely pool area, comfy sun loungers. Would highly recommend Arcos for a relaxing stay in a well run and very friendly small hotel!

We had two rooms, one facing the front of the hotel which was a bit noisy during the day as there is a road running past the front of the hotel. However, traffic dies down almost completely at night so very quiet for a good night's sleep. The other room faced a courtyard with water feature to the rear, very quiet and peaceful, my favourite

Lovely hotel. Stayed here for 16 nights in August. Asked for a high floor with a pool view when booking, and this was confirmed by the hotel via email. Staff were all very friendly. Special mention to Mercedes on reception she was so helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Even got a text before our flight to say have a good flight, which was a nice touch we didn't expect! Rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless. The bed was so comfy. Beach was only a 10-minute walk Breakfast was lovely. Good choice. Would definitely return here and would highly recommend this hotel.

Third time staying here. Absolutely outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble. All the staff genuinely interested in you and your enjoyment. Buffet breakfast delicious as was the snack menu. Our room cleanliness was spotless as were all the different areas in the hotel. Tastefully furnished. Thoroughly recommend this little gem.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like at this wonderful hotel.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, on arrival we were given a warm welcome and had a very interesting chat with the team. Service was great at all times, breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choice including lovely home made cakes. Beds were very comfortable and the room had air-conditioning. Lovely big balcony with furniture. It may be a 3 star hotel but the service was totally 5 star. A well run hotel with a very hard working and dedicated team. An excellent stay. A big thank you to Antonio, Mercedes and Suzanna.

I have nothing negative to say.

The room and all other areas around the hotel were clean and tidy, and I appreciated having the little terrace although I did not use it often. All staff are friendly and helpful and most communicate well in English. The location is very close to the beach (only 4 minutes' walk) and the area feels safe to walk alone.

I really did miss having a tea-/coffee-making facility in the room. I spent quite a bit of time in the room doing work and would have loved the possibility of making few cups of tea and coffee. Also wished to have the option to get a dessert on a couple of occasions but the only option for this is to ask reception for access to an ice cream machine in the lobby.

The lovely staff that facilitated all room requests for us. Lovely top floor at the back, quiet and great view every evening. Great reception team, very helpful.

Breakfast (included) not very warm, would have preferred fresh juice, need another toaster 😂 Only other little niggle, not enough sunbeds to lie on around the pool, as a few were broken and the ones that weren't, were as usual reserved by the pool pinchers lol. Walk downhill to the prom, beach ok, walk back up in 30 degrees hard work lol

This was our 2nd time to stay here and we loved it as much this time around. It’s kept very clean and rooms were made up every day. Theres a fridge in the room which is a fantastic addition to keep drinks cool and there’s an Aldi right next door. Staff are very friendly especially Suzanna and Sergio who remembered us from over 2 years ago. Raquel also deserves a mention even though she obviously didn’t realise it was my birthday the night we arrived!!!! Raquel you’re forgiven. Happy hour every day was a brilliant addition and Laura deserves a mention for her excellent service during a very busy time.

Toiletries in the bathroom could be better, I hate sachets.

We have stayed at the hotel a few times and always enjoy our stay there. The rooms are very comfortable with a balcony which faces the sun for a good part of the day. The hotel is very clean and the staff are excellent, welcoming, friendly and very helpful. I cannot fault the service. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere, has a small bar area and serves food. The pool is a reasonable size and has an outside sitting area with loungers. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the hotel.
