Fantastic ladies at the reception - they were polite, friendly, helpful and understanding. Good cleaning: clean towels, toilet rolls and tissues were replenished on request. The air conditioning in the lobby and corridors was comfortably gentle - enough to keep you cool but not cold - a big plus! The air con vent in the room was well positioned. The was an electric kettle in the room :) The hotel itself was in a very good location - close to the sights, shops, busses and the underground. Despite this it was fairly quiet so you could have a good rest.

The only drawback was the size of the safe box, which was too small for a laptop and the fact that its contents got quite warm from the mini bar placed below it.

- The location of the hotel was very central and convenient; most of the major Valencia sights were within 10-20 minute walk. There were also many buses and subway stops close by, so it was easy to get around the city - The staff was friendly, attentive, quick to respond, and tried their best to help us resolve problems and empathise with our problems. - Long breakfast buffer hours from 7-11am, and good food and drink offering (variety of fruits, cold cuts, cheese, breads, yoghurt, and hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausage + 3 fresh fruit juices, and strong and good coffee) - Spacious lobby, where we could stay whilst waiting for our flight - Beautiful and historic old building and exterior - Comfortable room and bed

- Our bathroom had some wear and tear, and would benefit from upgrades. For example, when the guests in the room directly above us showered one night, we noticed that the light directly above our shower started leaking water. We notified the hotel staff immediately and they were quick to respond by temporarily sealing the leaking spot with silicon and offered to switch us to another room. The bathroom had a glassdoor, and we noticed a small crack in the glass at the bottom of the door, notified the hotel and suggested a repair down the road, since the crack could get bigger.

Location is fantastic for exploring cultural highlights and being close to restaurants and shops. Right on the street. Near the Cathedral and Turia gardens. Staff were very friendly, and the buffet breakfast had smoothies and fresh fruit as well as other choices . I'd describe it as a boutique hotel. The building itself is also off historical interest as Machado ( the poet) lived here and it was a cultural centre of women's groups in the 1930s Spotlessly clean , great housekeeping.and loved the soaps and Clarins body lotion.

Very little hanging space for clothes. Doors didn't open fully in wardrobe, which was a little tedious.

Check in was easy and the staff were excellent. Lift system was efficient. The room was good. Well proportioned. Bar service in the evenings was good, as was the breakfast service.

There was no coffee/tea making facility in the room. Seating at breakfast was cramped, with the tables too close together, so that people had to move to let other people sit down. Although the breakfast itself was excellent, the coffee was poor. The flask coffee was not hot and the coffee from the machine was disappointing.

The room was smallish but very big comfortable beds, with fine cotton sheets, changed every three days or so (and towels). Very very quiet - and fine air conditioning! Breakfast good, with wide variety to choose from. Location was excellent, right in the heart of the Old City of Valencia, great for us just walking around to museums. Just round the corner are lots of places to eat, or just sit and enjoy. The Turia Park only 10 minutes away. Along the road, lots of buses go by the Plaza Puerta del Mar to take you to the beaches or the Cuidad de Ciencias.

An easy chair, and a bedside table with a shelf would have been helpful. The space to take clothes was not wardrobes but smallish open shelves, one very high which would be difficult for someone short of stature. But you just get used to things, anyway.

Very expensive at Fallas time. I was there for nine days. The room had very little space to unpack shirts and pants so I mostly had to just leave things in my suitcase and take them out as I needed them. I think there needs to be greater consideration given to people who are staying for an extended period. I'm sure I've mentioned this before - the telephone hanging on the wall right next to the toilet. Incredibly annoying - I accidentally knocked it off the wall several times. I can't believe anyone needs this.

Excellent location only 500yrds away from Placa de la Reina where Valencia's cathedral located. Very central to the 'old town' with great bars/restaurants non of which were a disappointment. Art,history,architecture, churches all within hour an our in any direction. But do not miss the fantastic and very modern art,science,oceanagraphic,cinema complex between the old centre and the fantastic beach.Plus also highly recommend The Biopark,a fantastic modern zoo.

Can't honestly say there weren't any disappointing areas of this beautiful city.

Comfortable accomodations in a great location. It's about 10 mins walk to Plaza de la Reina and the Cathedral, where you will find numerous restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. Friendly and efficient staff. Good breakfast. Fast, reliable wi-fi. Air-con and shower worked well. Our room was very quiet, as it did not face the street.

Our room had very limited space for storage of personal items, as one often finds in European hotels. The designer could have done better in this regard - for example, the bedside tables had no drawers or shelves. The high-tech lighting control was too complex for the purpose.

Hotel is ideally located within close walking distance to historic tourist sites and a great variety of shops, restaurants & bars.Bus stop is 2mins walk & metro at Colón is 6min walk.Airport is 12 stops away by Metro.The hotel was very clean & staff were very friendly & helpful.Breakfast was lovely.The rooms were very clean.There is a pillow menu.They stored our luggage after checkout.Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very well positioned ,5 min walk from metro station Colon & 5 min walk from Porta Del Mar (where you have connections to the Arts area and the beach). Rooms are clean and have new furniture; the small balcony facing the main street is nice. Might be noisy if the window is kept opened. Double room of 19 m2 has enough space but can be a bit challenging if you travel with big luggage as there is not much storage space. Good breakfast opened till 11 am (they offer filter coffee and nespresso ) Check out is at 12.00 hrs. The hotel was better than expected.
