Its new stylish hotel in the central location of Goteborg. The breakfast selection was good, had options for everyone. The location is very convenient - in the middle of everything. However, its construction all around the place and doesn’t look like it’s gonna be done soon.

The cleaning is bit behind. The breakfast was extremely crowded even though they were asking to pick up breakfast slots at the check in. Its important to keep in mind that hotel has no parking and also no on street parking next by. You might need to use Stena parking garage 5min away if coming by car.

One of the tallest buildings in town with best views. Location is very convenient to reach main sites by walking. Top floors restaurant and bar has amazing views, good service, good menu and excellent wine list - only Rieslings more then 20 types. Design of the hotel is modern and interesting to explore. Nice cafe with yammy desserts. Elevators are very quite, quick and comfy - no junctions no waiting even the hotel is really huge. Bed is comfy - not too hard nor too soft, 2 types of pillows, good blanket. Breakfast is very rich, never seen dried apricote, rhubarb jam and non-lactose whipped cream in hotels before. Bathrobes and slippers for the spa are really good quality and with design touch, soft, comfy - loved it and color, dark bordo.

Currently there is huge construction site all around the building and they start works 8AM sharp. Breakfast room is crowded and tend to be very dirty in the latest hours. SPA books slots for lots of people and you just find yourself in the soup of talking people not relaxing or anything like this - we left after 15 min. Shower drainage in the room worked poorly, this was annoying and wasn't fixed after reported. Hanging lamps in the room are unnecessary at all - one above the armchair makes no sense. Shoe prints on the conrete walls in the room ... well I cannot guess why and what for. No climate control in the room nor openable windows.

We always choose Draken when visiting Gothenburg. Location is great, right in front of the tram stop, easy walking distance to the city center. The hotel is next to the nice Linné area which has a lot of restaurants, cafes etc. The hotel itself feels very fresh, with many spacious lounge areas that are also very work-friendly. The view from the room was beautiful, and the room itself stylish with nice quality finish (i.e. wooden floors) and very clean bathroom.

Cleaning wasn't done very meticulously this time (shelves were a bit dusty, and we spotted some sand particles on the floor at one place). But all in all it still felt fresh and clean. One thing that's missing in the rooms is a safe, would be nice to have that.

We had an amazing stay at the Clarion Draken. The hotel has a stylish, vibrant atmosphere, with lovely communal spaces perfect for unwinding. Our room exceeded expectations; located on the 20th floor, it offered stunning views. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the shower was top-notch. The location was perfect! Breakfast, which was included with our room, was excellent—plenty of options and great quality. While it did get busier over the weekend, going earlier made it much more manageable. Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying here. Genuinely one of the nicest hotel stays I’ve ever had.

One downside was the lack of a wardrobe, so we had to leave our clothes in piles around the room. This made us reluctant to let housekeeping in, so we mostly kept the "Do Not Disturb" sign on, except for one day. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive fresh towels when they cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. Lastly, be aware it appears the hotel hosts conferences, and on our final day, the communal areas were quite crowded.

Very nice hotel, well designed, breakfast was amazing!

The staff, or I should say the rules, are too strict! Me and a friend who was staying at a different hotel were walking around exploring the hotel and they stopped us, saying the bar was closed and we couldn’t walk in that area. Then she came to pick up her laptop she had left in my room but they wouldn’t let her come to my room with me. Then we were sitting on one of the sofas, and they said since she was not staying at the hotel, she had to leave! First time it has happened at a hotel.. and I travel a lot!

Very stylish hotel, great view, amazing breakfast. Large lobby and helpful staff. This was in a good location.

The room was very humid- we hand washed clothes that took days to dry. Granted it rained but still. The mattress pads slipped around on the bed and came untucked often. There were hardly any spaces to unpack clothes and despite having a closet- only 4 hangers for 3 people. Room was very dusty- it snowed dust when I pulled a shirt off of the top shelf in the closet. For such an expensive hotel- you would think there would be shelves or at least hangers. Also- for the price I should not have started a sneezing fit when I pulled something out of the top shelf or moved the chairs in the room.

Great location for anybody attending Way Out West festival, everyone who travels by train or coming from the airport. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful, it has so many fresh and delicious options including gluten-free, vegan and lactose-free options. The staff at the reception speaks very good English and they have been very nice and helpful.

The mattress of the bed in the double room is rather old and uncomfortable, it would be def great to be replaced with new ones. The drainage system in the shower should also be checked frequently as it easily clogs with a high risk of overflooding.

Location was amazing, close to everything we only had to walk or use the e-scooters. The staff were lovely, breakfast was great and beds were super comfy.

Our rooms cleanliness could have been better. Our shower did not drain because the drain was not clean, there’s no phone in the room so we had to go down and speak to reception just to have it cleaned so the shower was useable, there’s was quite a bit of dust and the shower was quite dirty. The windows were really dirty which kind of ruined the view

Amazing breakfast, great facilities - the hotel is brand new and everything is in pristine condition. Location is excellent for this part of Gothenburg.

The receptionist gave us the wrong room number upon checkin, resulting in us finding another guest already in "our" bed. Quite awkward and when returning to reception they mostly laughed it off and said they mistakenly wrote a 9 instead of a 6 on our cards. Mistakes happen but they could have handled it more professionally. There was also some confusion around checkout, as the time given to us via email did not match what the hotel staff told us.

I have been visiting before and love the location and the style. The breakfast is wonderful best in Gothenburg. The Brasseri Draken rooftop restaurant was amazing!! I loved the service and the food ❤️

I was disappointed because the room was not clean well. Big difference when I was there in the beginning of the year and now. The carpet was dirty. It was hair in the shower. Is was dust on the lamps. Also I paid for a view and we got the view in a constitution site. That was aweful it was my husband birthday And they new that.
