Clean, tidy. Nice vibe at the ground floor, was great for our girl weekend away to able to sit and talk for hours. Shops like grocery, clothing shops to purchase those little items that had been forgotten basically outside the front door, could walk from bus/train station = very convenient. Parking next door to (was able to sort that middle of the night = bonus point. Nice variety on breakfast buffet. Loved the golden elevators!

Could potentially have had a some additional pillows in the room. I'm sure they would have supplied them if we had asked but didn't want to bother anyone at that point. So on us really.

The flexible checkout time, it was set to 12 (which in itself is generous) but if additional time is needed and there's availability you can get additional time up until 18 which is the most generous checkout time I've ever experienced. Also a great breakfast, clean rooms, accommodating staff and just in general a great and priceworthy experience.

We didn't get a room with a window, I don't remember if that was specified or not, we might have missed it, but it was a bit disorienting to have no daylight. The pillows were also too big (which became an issue for us when one in our party has back problems and these big/high pillows were increasing the problem) and the extra bunk bed was hard as a rock to sleep on (although that was expected). All in all it was still a great stay.

I liked the small gym. For obvious safety reasons there weren’t any heavy weights but I made it work with what was there. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of it and I didn’t feel like it was going to run out. The room and bathroom were very clean.

The only 2 things that were a negative were that the floor seemed a little thin since I could hear people above me and that it was a little strange that my room didn’t have a window. Normally this wouldn’t matter so much, especially since I was traveling alone and needed to work. However it got a little warm in the room and I felt that I would have been slightly more comfortable if I was able to cool the room down by opening the window.

The first room they assign me is under the gym (awfulll)… the room’s walls were vibrating all the time and the sound caused me a headache in less than 10min. However the staff took care of this and they changed my room.

Nice hotel room in the centre of Umeå. Had availability for last-second booking. Amazing Sauna and well equipt gym on site. The free breakfast in the morning had really convenient times for breakfast, I even was able to go a bit earlier due to an early train and the breakfast buffet itself was insane. They thought of everyone's breakfast needs. Free coffee, hot chocolate and tea in the reception are available all day.

My room didn't have a window and for €100 I would expect to have one. I asked about a change when I arrived and was told it would be another €20. There wasn't a business centre or computer access but the public library is across the street and open until 8pm.

Nice Lounge areas, car park joined to the hotel, central to the city. Very good Breakfast. Comfy Beds, The most amazing drinking water. Staff at reception were excellent and really helpful. We travelled with a 9 month baby and they really accommodated our needs

Air con didn’t want to work in our room. we left the window open, closed the black out blinds and they gave us a fan. this cooled the room dramatically. Was 31/32° Celsius so was exceptionally hot at this time of year. however our friends on the other side of the hotel did not have a problem with their air cooler and remained cool in their room

Good clean room with all the amenities. Didn't have a window, but we didn't expect any for this price. Staff were friendly and breakfast was okay (not the best but was good enough)

We had to choose an half an hour window for breakfast which was not that convenient. I get why they had to do it though. Also it could have had bit more selection of things.

We were welcomed by Kristoffer at reception who became a bff to our 4y daughter, and gave us good suggestions of where to go in Umeå. We found enough plant-based options for the breakfast (vegan family). Very well located in Umeå. The design of the rooms is cool, and the beds comfortable. Family friendly place.

We could not figure out the heating system, and the heating of the floor in the bathroom if any. We were told that it was simple with the gadget in the batrhoom, but no guidelines in any language. Although we had a long stay, the mid-stay cleaning of the room did not happen when it was originally scheduled. That was very disappointing. Was a bit weird to be in a room without windows.

Nice hotel right in the middle of Umeå! Great location! Everything was clean. The sauna has a big window with a nice view. The breakfast was really good. The receptionist was super nice and gave us a lot of recommendations for the city!

Our room had no window, so that´s in general a negative point, but there were a lot of lights and a big nature picture on the wall, so it didn´t feel that narrowing. For the money it´s a good deal!

Lovely place with excellent views of the river. Right in the city center, very convenient, and not noisy as the windows are very well isolated. I would definitely choose Comfort Hotel Umeå City again if I come back to Umea.
