The staff were so very helpful and pleasant :) The room was well sized and very comfortable :) The location was so convenient for exploring all of Uppsala - with the station a few hundred metres away and bus stops within easy walking distance:) The breakfasts were truly amazing!! So much fresh and delicious food on offer, and topped up all the way to the very end of the breakfast service period :) We didn't make use of the dinner option - but it always smelled delicious, and the happy faces of the guests who were dining suggests that dinner was very good too :) We will return without hesitation when we are next in Uppsala!!! What an utterly delightful little hotel 😁

The hotel staff were great and very helpful and positive. The room and bathroom were good size, comfortable and clean. The beds (two side-by-side twin beds) were very comfortable. The room didn’t have air conditioning but windows were openable and temperature mostly comfortable, with a fan in the closet we used a couple times (iron and ironing board there too). Plenty of room to unpack. There is a “conference room” on the lowest floor which is very comfortable for late night or early morning reading / internet browsing. Our price included both breakfast and evening meal, both very good, especially the breakfasts. The dining spaces were quite crowded but there was adequate, hard-working staff to quickly clear and clean tables, as well as to refill everything. Overflow could also go to the conference room or to some tables outside near the main entrance. The hotel parking spaces were full when we arrived but there is an underground garage (separate business) only 100 meters away which was actually cheaper (165 crowns per 24 hours). The location was very good - about 1 km from the river / beginning of the old town, with the newer main shopping streets and railway station even closer. Uppsala is a wonderful town for a weekend visit. I also recommend a drive down to Sigtuna and some of the nearby castles / palaces.

The bathroom door in our room (712) was a bit stiff and noisy. I recommend that be fixed. But overall we had a very good stay (4 nights). Parking quite expensive and limited.

The lobby is cosy and inviting. The staff were attentive and friendly. The included buffet dinner was great! A good choice salad bar with bread, Main course was breaded fish with a tasty ratatouille and roasted vegetables. The soup was lentil and sweet potato which I didn't try as I was too full. My room was on the 9th floor but I never had to wait for the lift. The bed was huge and the shower worked fine. There was a hairdryer. Breakfast was a buffet with cereals, fruit, bacon and eggs, cold meats and cheese. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby all the time. The hotel had parking which you have to pay for but it's convenient.

It's slightly out of the centre (about 10mins walk) but great value for money.

The hotel is located just 5 min walking distance from the central station where trains and busses depart. All the sights of the city are also reachable by walking. The staff at the reception was very friendly and competent. Breakfast buffet is served every day from 7:00 and offered a great selection of high quality food. The service staff cleaned the tables promptly and refilled everything. A positive surprise for us was the evening meal buffet that was included in the room price: a soup, many salads and a warm meal, and several very tasty fresh breads. While on our two days the meal was always with meat, we as vegetarians still had a great value with the many delicious salads.

In the room it was a little bit warm. The A/C wasn't adjustable. The windows let in more noise than cool air.

This was my second stay at Clarion Collection and I highly recommend it! The rooms are a decent size, comfortable, clean, and warm. The 24-hour reception service is great, and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great with a lot of options, and the included dinner is also excellent. The hotel bar and lobby area is also comfortable and a nice place to meet. Location is also great - only a couple of minutes walk from the main train and bus terminal, and less than 10 mins walk into the city centre. Unfortunately the sauna and gym area was undergoing renovations this time, but from my previous visit I know that's it's really nice.

Everything was great!

I really enjoyed everything. The staff was very friendly (a big bonus), the room was clean and comfortable, the location is excellent, in particular if you arrive by train and want to be close to the city center. The breakfast was good. I though missed normal milk, only dietary milk options without lactose or some vegan options were available. I would also prefer some whole-grain bread. The dinner on the other hand was excellent again.

Breakfast and dinner good, comfortable rooms

Terrible access facilities with luggage and car parking messaging from staff confusing. Due to the steep stairs at the front of the hotel (there is a ramp at the side but we only found out afterwards and you then need to slalom your way through tables and chairs), I fell over carrying luggage on checking out and broke my ankle. The staff at reception were not particularly helpful. The hotel must make a ramp at the front of the entrance.

The staff was amazing, so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts and dinners were exceptional, beautifully presented and delicious. It looked like much care went into the planning and presentation. Kudos to the chef for providing excellent dinner entrees, one of the best being the fish and chips. They were always restocking and replenishing food items during both breakfast and dinner, and the salad buffet in the evening was wonderful, especially the roasted broccoli. Breakfast items, both hot and cold, offered variety, with many gluten free items as well. Hot choices included scrambled eggs, bacon, tarts and Swedish pancakes. Also a nice touch was Fika in the lobby everyday with coffee, tea and cookies, croissants, etc. We appreciated that CNN was included in the cable channel choices, and the lobby/dining area was lovely and very cozy. There was also a very attractive outdoor sitting and dining area. While our room was not large, it was charming with one wall depicting and commenting on glass blowing. it seems this building was once filled with various craftsmen, and they have a mission to preserve that history in various ways in the hotel. The hotel’s location was excellent with a very short walk to the train station and buses and an easy walk into the center.

We loved everything about the property. Our room could have been larger and would have liked a refrigerator, but we booked the standard room which did not include a refrigerator.

Given the nature of my trip, this hotel had absolutely everything I could have wanted, and then some. Even travelling alone and on foot with a fair bit of luggage, it was very easy to get there from the central train station (which is quite literally a stone's throw away), my room was very clean and comfortable (and the perfect size), the food was plentiful and delicious (the hotel offered two complimentary meals a day, which I've never experienced before!), and the staff were all extremely professional, helpful, approachable, friendly, and accommodating - even after I'd already reached the end of my stay and checked out of my room (when they very kindly allowed me to store my luggage there for several hours while I did some last-minute sightseeing around the town). I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Uppsala.

It's really very difficult to think of anything negative to say about this place at all. The toilet paper in my room was not of the greatest quality...and visitors looking for more extensive in-house facilities (like a larger gym, a swimming pool, and/or a recreation room, for example) might be a bit disappointed...but other than that I really can't fault the place for anything.

I like how they do breakfast and dinner buffet style. There was lots of choices , something for everyone. Not just old boring sandwich ingridients like some other hotels. I have to give extra points for wonderful breakfast smoothies they were amaaazing. Everything was fresh and appetizing. I also like the area itself were meals are, it looks nice and doesnt feel too crowded. Nice touch with tea and coffee to make yourself in room. Room was clean and no carpet wich i like. Bathroom was spotless and fresh. Tv with lots of channels.

Blanket was extremely warm , i think i got winter blanket. But to be fair i didnt ask for another so its fine.
