great location. although the room isnt equipped with an a/c, we knew it before booking the hotel. our room had a balcony and big windows which we can open to let some air in, but on those hot/humid summer days, these meant flies/insects can come in as well. The hotel is also part of a senior living facility but this means that the hotel is very quiet in which we really liked. No loud parties or drunk guests wandering or loitering around specially at night. Compared to other hotels in the area, having an elevator, private bathroom, good water pressure, big sized room with balcony and mountain views, quiet neighborhood, very accessible with a bus stop in front of the hotel and breakfast were good value for your money when a holiday in Switzerland tends to be more expensive. I'd recommend the hotel to my family and friends and will stay here again when I come back to Interlaken.

10 am checkout time is a bit earlier than what I am used to from other hotels I have stayed at.

If I want to highlight 3 things about this particular hotel, number 1 are the staff, they were amazingly helpful and super nice. no.2 breakfast, oh we enjoyed going there everyday the bakery and the cheese varieties were just amazing and the third was the location, 10min walk to the station and 2 bus lines stop at the hotel. Our room was top floor with a nice terrace surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Interlaken, room and bathroom were super clean and spacious, the room has floor to ceiling wide panoramic windows overseeing the mountains which is amazing. I would stay again...

What's missing, is a coffee/tea option in the room and a fridge, I suggested as a good feedback to the hotel to enhance guest experience in future.

We stayed here for five nights, and our stay at Hotel Artos was wonderful. The hotel itself is lovely, quiet, and very modern. It looks nothing like a hospital, as some negative reviews claimed, and it feels like a place to relax and enjoy. Our room was comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was varied and healthy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to both Interlaken Ost and the town center (which isn’t particularly nice, so we appreciated staying in a quiet area away from it). Next time we visit Switzerland, we will definitely return.

The pillows were very soft, but this minor issue is really the only thing I didn't like about our stay.

This is a place that is a joint home for the elderly and a hotel for tourists. So meal is together in the dining room on separate tables. There are also many elderly that can be seen in the common areas who are lovely and smiley to tourists. I really appreciated the business concept and idea as it is unique but hopefully mutually benefiting the elderly community as well as the tourists.

No kettle in room but hot water for tea or coffee machine can be found in common areas, 3.50 CHF per cup. There are also vending machines.

Easy to get to as bus stop is just outside the hotel, they give you a free bus travel card which is quite handy, you get discounts on activities (although if you have the Swiss pass or half fare travel card those are better). View was amazing. The staff was nice.

The bed was not very comfortable for the amount we paid but it seems like this is the average cost in interlaken. Check in and check out times were different to the normal timings at other hotels making our stay shorter. Breakfast was good but they never had enough cutlery/teaspoons/plates out and we had to keep asking the staff.

Bibliobar .😂 sorry. But it is really inconvinient come out if the room in early morning to take hot water for cofee n tea. But its ok. I managed. No other possibility. Another thing was that breakfast was not so very rich compared to many other hotels in interlaken. I go to Swiss almost every year. N alk hotels serve really good breakfast like here in Artos dru fruits, and vegetables were missing. Whatever the food was served was good and fresh but items were really less. I am comparing with hotel Stella, linder grand beau, carlton europa, etc... breakfast is served really rich over there.

I was initially surprised to find the hotel attached to an care home, but it turned out to be a lovely stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful and truly made the experience even better. The location is great, just a short walk from the town center. Breakfast is a simple European continental spread, and while the spa has two hot tubs, they are cozy and fit just one person each. Overall, a unique and enjoyable stay!

The room was a bit too hot on arrival, but we were able to turn it down quickly.

It’s set at a great location, walking distance from Interlaken OST or also a short bus ride away from the station. The staff are very helpful and decent options for breakfast as well

The washroom with washing machine and dryer wasn’t working during our stay, the staff could have given us a heads up of the situation, we ended up waiting for a whole 12 hours hoping the machine would dry our clothes and finally had to take it to external laundromat in city centre to dry the wet clothes

Very clean and quiet room which was well-soundproofed. Powerful wet-room like shower in modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Good value for money price. Quiet neighbourhood which would probably be a real bonus in summertime! Comfy chairs for a hotel room. Ample breakfast in pleasantly decorated dining room with nicely presented tables with cotton runners and fresh flowers on. We really liked the fact that elderly residents were mixing with everyone else with everyone gaining from a positive shared experience in this uplifting environment at the Artos Zentrum.

Nothing to not like. I would just note that this is a very modern hotel, very clean but maybe a bit clinical for you, if you are after a traditional Swiss hotel. Rooms like in modern, corporate hotels.
