The staff and facilities at the Hermitage were excellent. The location provided a breathtaking view from almost every part of the hotel. We enjoyed many amenities at the hotel including SUP's, kayaks, lake swimming and tennis. We also had dinner in the restaurant in the hotel each night and enjoyed excellent food and service there. We had our daughter with us and we all had a memorable time. We love to travel and this is perhaps the best hotel stay we have had. We would love to come back.

Beach at hotel was a little small.

!Lovely lakeside location with fabulous views Clean and modern room with a big window and super-cozy bed .Bus ticket for free was great to go to downtown .Efficient and friendly staff, The receptionist was so welcoming Great Breakfast. Highly recommend

The windows in the room could not be opened due to a mosquito problem

Wonderful hotel at an exceptional location directly at the lake shore, and while on the outskirts of Lucerne with a frequent bus connection that takes one to the center in about 10 minutes, with the bus stop right outside the hotel. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, large rooms with view onto the lake.

Room cleaning could possibly improve, there was too much dust along the wall under the table (the bath room was impeccable though).

The large rooms in the renovated building are beautiful and have great blackout curtains for children to sleep and nap. Large curtain in the middle of the room allows children to sleep in one side and adults on the other. Great views. Beach club is excellent and family friendly. Play ground on grounds is excellent. Water sports rentals included!

Balcony could use more security for children. There is large opening along lower railing and we didn’t feel safe allowing our little children to enjoy it.

Absolutely stunning views!!! Rooms were spacious and had views of the lake. We also enjoyed the lake amenities and bikes available.

Good options were limited for those traveling without a car. The only option was the expensive breakfast buffet and then expensive lunches and dinners. It would've been nice if a little shop sold snacks and waters etc.

The view from the room was spectacular. The public areas - the bar and restaurant areas were very nice and friendly. Staff spoke several languages and were extremely helpful and friendly.

The bar furniture was a bit of a challenge for the older members of our party (too low). There was no kettle in our room and the phone did not work for us to request one. We were forced to have coffee and the coffee maker did not come with instructions :( We were not sure we liked the open bathroom but it certainly was different and was not an issue.

The room was wonderfully spacious and the beds and linen excellent! And what a magnificent view! There’s a very personal feel everywhere in the hotel - great fitness ans spa and fabulous breakfast too. Very professional and discreet service make this hotel to a perfect place to relax and feel good. The fondue-chinoise we enjoyed in their cosy and class restaurant was an event in itself. I would return to the Hermitage with pleasure, maybe in summer next time, to enjoy the lake.

I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was perfect, offering stunning views that truly took my breath away. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delightful combination of a nice location, friendly reception, and breathtaking views.

Great access to the lake, and beautiful views from all the rooms. Also, the beach club was a wonderful place to relax, and the entire property is very clean. The most amazing part however, was the staff; everyone was absolutely pleasant, extremely helpful and very professional. Especially, Marimar, who was our first interaction when we checked into the hotel - she had a truly memorable impact on my entire family, making us all feel welcome and valued. Until next time!
