There is a kitchen that seems to be well-equipped. A large dining and lounge area and some seating on an outdoor balcony. The bathroom was large, modern and clean and had a bath. The host was flexible with timing of check-out. This would probably be a good place for a family that books the entire apartment to themselves. Those considering booking should pay attention that: (i) the bathroom is shared with whichever other guest is staying in the other room; and (ii) the location is quite suburban - not in the heart of what tourists imagine as Montreux, which is 1 train station away.
I was a bit disappointed because based on the photographs, I was expecting to stay in a room with new, modern furnishings. Instead the decor was really strange (bamboo furniture, lime green colours) which was not to my taste and the bed was super low on the ground - almost on the floor. There was no desk in the room.

Location is great and when we arrived earlier than the set time on Booking.com the owner was flexible about letting us in earlier. The flat is very modern and comfortable.
Even though we were let in earlier to the apartment, we would rather have left our bags and come back. The dishwasher was full, the fridge had half finished food, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and there was a smell of smoke in the dining area... it all felt like someone had just left (and in a rush). This can be a shared property, think we were lucky no one else was booked in

Location was great.
This was a room in an apartment (extra, unexpected people in the same apartment). The bed was uncomfortable. The shared living room, kitchen and bathroom made the overall experience even worse (had to wait 30min to get to the toilet).

From the ad we could have not understand that it's not accomodations of a whole flat but in someone's apartment while they live also in the flat. The host did come the next morning and reimbursed us and we left for another place.
