The hotel is located on the 12th floor of an apartment building. Its easily accessible by lift (2 available). The check was easy, and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. The room was a good size, air-conditioned, and had a large window. The room was brightly decorated. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but the linen was in good condition. The bathroom was large and well lit. The location is excellent. Easy access to street food, restaurants, 7 Eleven, family mart, Poya, department stores, wonderful coffee cafes, plus the metro. Great place to stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again

I would have preferred a softer mattress.

The location is perfect. It is located at the busiest area and there is a small night market right below. There are convenient store, department store, and food stalls all within walking distance. It is also easy to walk to the MRT station which is just 20 mins away from the airport.

I have come back to this location for my 3rd time. You would have to expect that since it is right above some food stalls, there were inevitably cockroaches on the street especially when you walk back to your hotel at night. However, this time, we encountered many cockroaches in the elevator to the hotel, which is quite scary. The room is clean though.

My partner and I absolutely love this hotel and can't wait to stay at R8 Eco Hotel again! Staff: Ms. Wang Li Mei, Ms. Zhang Jia Xin, and the son (apologies for not catching his name), along with the entire housekeeping team, were incredible. They were always friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Location: The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the street food area with endless food options just outside the door. Room: A big thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping our room spotlessly clean and sparkling throughout our stay! Despite being situated in the middle of busy street, it remains surprisingly quiet. This allowed us both to sleep soundly and work or study in the room without any disturbances.

There was honestly nothing we didn’t like about this property. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations.

The room was big and the bed as well. It was really comfortable with the small fridge, 3 chairs and a small table. The Check In was very easy and we got a free room upgrade from the nice lady at the front desk. They provide free drinking water, tea and more. It was very quiet - no noice from other people, good wifi and a TV. The location is good - close to the MRT Station and with a night market just in front. As well there are many opportunities for food, shopping etc

Smell of cigaretts / mold in the bathroom - ok but not nice...

I got a very spacious room with a balcony, the bed was huge and they provide everything you need: slippers, razors, toothbrush, free tea and water bottles. In addition the location was very central and close to everything: metro, shopping, convenience shop, market, tea shop, coffee, Starbucks, food stalls etc.. I would recommend it for a short stay.

The bathroom walls were very cracked and the toilet walls were a bit dirty. Maybe the hotel needs some little renovation

The hotel is located at the centre of the Xingzhong night market, there is a 7-11 downstairs. The room is spacious with ample spaces for luggage. A low table allows tea to be brewed and served conveniently. The wash basin and toilet seat are sparklingly clean. All other facilities appear newly decorated. The ventilation in the shower cubicle is powerful.

There is no electric socket near the bed.

Convenient location, close to a metro station and food places. Quiet. Room was large with a balcony with all the facilities such as fridge and kettle. Comfortable bed, softer than most I’ve had in Taiwan. Friendly reception staff.

Nice view from the balcony if you get the right room. The staff is kind even if the communication can be difficult. I know a little Chinese so it was ok.

Not far away from MRT, Night market directly in this street / in front of the building; but no smell - because you are on floor 12.

Nearby MRT station and night market at the same street.

May need to improve on the lighting especially at the bathroom.
