Good-sized room, spacious for one person. Bathroom amenities were good -- rain shower with good water pressure and responsive heating, toiletries provided. Wifi and aircon also working well. Free washing machine/dryer (washing powder provided!) available on the first floor. Central location, Hotel itself is located right outside Taipei Main Station exit Z10. 7-11 is just across the road and many eateries are within walking distance. Ximending and the famous Ruyi taiyang bing store are also within a 10min walk too. Note: If you are arriving via Taoyuan Airport MRT, it is actually nearer to walk above ground (<5min walk from the Airport MRT station building). If you try to walk via the underground malls (which is a gigantic maze), you will have to walk one big round to the Taipei Metro main station first before you can reach the Z10 exit.

The bed and pillows were a bit hard for me, but otherwise fine. The place is called 日野苑 instead of HINOEN Hotel on Googlemaps, which makes it hard to find and also makes it look suspicious to English-speakers. But don't worry, it's a legit hotel!

Hotel was a short and convenient 5-min walk from Taipei Main Station (Airport Express). Ground floor facilities include a toilet, water dispenser (hot and cold water), as well as washing machines and dryers (and even washing detergent powder!). Lobby area also has free coffee (machine) and other items such as combs/shower cap (on request). You may also keep your luggage at the front desk/lobby area if you arrive early (before 3pm check-in) or have a later flight (after 12pm check-out). Our double room (one tier above classic) was spacious and well-furnished (boiler, shower gel, shampoo, etc.). Items were mostly replenished daily and room was tidied up as well. When we encountered inconsiderate neighbors who smoked in their room (smoke entered the vent of our room), hotel staff was swift and helpful in going room-to-room to check.

Location of hotel is central and with lots of shops, restaurants (Macdonald nearby) and convenience stores. Most importantly It is just near to the Taipei Main Underground Shopping Mall (via Z10 exit which will lead to the various sectors of shops and Taipei Main Station, and Airport Express to Taoyuan International Airport. The only setback is there is no lift at exit Z10. You will have to carry your luggage down the stairs! The hotel staff are very friendly and checkin without any hassle. They also provide free flow coffee at the lobby (if you can’t take sugar-free, pls bring own small sachet of sugar). The room amenities and layout are as published in Booking.com. The room is clean and spacious and comfortable.

The location is great. Take airport mrt from Taoyuan airport to Taipei Station A1, exit number 5. There's elevator and escalator at the exit. It is a 5 min walk to the hotel by crossing two traffic lights. If you use the underground shopping mall route and exit Z10, you will need to carry the luggage up 5 flights of stairs. There is express and commuter train to and fro airport and Taipei. Take the express train that's alot faster. Many eateries and shops nearby the hotel.

central location and friendly staff

Location just under a 10 minute walk from the xinyi and bannan lines. A few bus stops nearby. Staff friendly and available most times. They helped organise a driver and were very flexible in helping with other requests. Clean, aesthetic, well furbished. Free detergent for self-service laundry.

Thought location would be closer based off map (<5 minutes to station instead of closer to 10). The room sometimes has a slight smell, likely due to pipes/construction. Not an issue if not sensitive to smell. Can be a little noisy (neighbours, sometimes from the road when people speed).

Excellent location near a metro exit, modern spacious room with a nice bathtub, and very comfy beds. We were especially impressed by the staff, who responds quickly to queries and even mailed an item to us which we had forgotten in our room after check-out. Also, the hotel has free washing machines and dryers as well as microwave and drinking water dispenser in the lobby which is a huge plus. They even delivered an iron to our room for free, so the overall service is impeccable. Overall a truly great experience and we would be happy to come again.

Really nothing.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, location was great - quite close to the main station, handy for the airport MRT, and also close to a lot of good food. The staff even found a ring we'd dropped and handed it to us when we went back to pick up our bags.

The shower worked fine but the glass shower screen wasn't effective and the floor got wet. Otherwise, all good.

Good location. Leads by underground to Taipei Main Station via exit Z10. Also, you can take the direct express train from the Taoyuan International Airport, and take a short walk of about 7-8 mins by exiting A1 gate, exit 5 of the Taoyuan Express train.

Exterior does look a little run down and the sound proofing of the walls not very good. Could hear sounds from the corridor and within rooms

Hotel was nice, clean and near Taipei Main Station Z10 exit. They tidy up and replenish supplies everyday, even when not requested. Laundry is also available and you need to do it yourself. Thumbs up to great service and clean facilities!

They don't allow early check in but it's understandable.
