Wall port: There are universal ports in the room so you don't have to worry about bringing taiwan charging port. Kitchen is located in the basement and provides water refill and microwave. Laundry and dryer on the rooftop works well although the instructions for the dryer aren't as straightforward. For the dryers, you have to turn the timer to 70 min before pressing start for them to generate heat. The timer on the dryer is independent of the timer on the coin machine

Room and bed: The room I got includes the table and a chair (301). However, the bed is very small; I'm 175 cm and I touched the end of the duvet. If anyone is taller than 5 ft 9, they would use all the duvet and the bed would be too small for them. The room also has no heater and was around 18-20 degree Celsius, I'd imagine some travelers would be more comfortable staying in a warmer room with a heater. Wifi is weak at night when guests go back to the hotel. I ended up using my data which is fine because it is unlimited for me. Noise isolation: I can hear sound through the wall as many other reviewers has pointed out. This hotel is not for light sleeper.

I appreciated the toilets, even though they are shared the equipment is good. The shower was OK though it might start showing signs of age soon. The location is very convenient if you arrive in Taipei by MRT or train, and there are bus stops nearby. There is decent food and coffee in the neighborhood.

Room is tiny and you can hear neighbours, if you happen to have any, but that was to be expected. I think I would prefer a room facing the back to reduce traffic noise next time. Wi-Fi was unfortunately too poor for me to do anything useful (I tried all Wi-Fi networks they had, the attached screenshot shows the best signal I’ve got).

The room has enough space for solo travellers who would prefer a cheaper private place to sleep and doesn't mind using common showers/cr. The cr is clean and doesn't smell and the temperature of the water changes easily based on which side the knob is turned on. Staff are polite and can converse in English. Supplies are easily available upon request as long as within office hours.

I only have one key card that also serves as the power controller. Whenever I have to go out for a little while to use the cr, I'll have to pull out the card as it also serves as the key card for the cr door. During this time, the power automatically turns off and charging your phone or keeping the room cold while using the cr is impossible

The location is great, I would really recommend staying in this area. I was also able to check-in earlier which was a huge plus. The shared bathroom area is also good and there was never any waiting times for the toilet or shower. The room also has an empty mini-fridge and you do get one free water. I also liked that you got slippers to use outside of your room. Overall, I really can recommend this place if you want to stay somewhere cheap in a good location, there are several bars and resturants nearby. There's also a 7/11 almost next doors. It's really easy to get from and to the airport as the airport commute train goes from the main station (although it's not technically the same station, but almost the same place).

1. The lights in the room were all quite bright, I would have loved a lamp that gave a softer light. (However, I want to add that I'm quite sensitive to bright light) 2. The only outlet in the room was next to the bed, quite high up. This caused some problems as there was nothing to put your devices on.

Great location! Near Taipei Main Station and many food options around! AC is working well, there’s a TV but no international channel, the room also has safe and fridge inside. They provide towel and their shower room has body soap, shampoo aaaand conditioner!

Its true that the rooms arent soundproof so you can hear other guests from the other room. lol or even people walking and talking in the hallway. The solo room is tiny but its enough if you have small luggages. Wifi too weak tho, good thing I have Taiwan sim with unlimited data. The common area is at the basement - it can be too quiet at times that it can be scary if youre scared of ghosts. LOL not saying that there’s ghost okay! haha

Excellent location near Taipei Main Station and Ximending, with excellent shopping and food, breakfast and massage options all around. Staff can speak English and were very friendly and helpful. Toilets were very clean and shower had good water pressure and heat. Room was cozy as well (TV doesn't come with Netflix but is fine). Luggage can be left at the counter if arrive earlier before check-in time (they even tag the bags to be safe).

I stayed at the Poshpacker for 3 nights and it has a superb location if you have very few days to explore Taipei and the surrounding cities. It's within walking distance from the main train station and the MRT (just try to figure out the underground pass to save time - be aware, you might get lost at the beginning). The room was ready for me when I was checking in. The shared bathrooms were really clean and well-maintained. The staff was consistently friendly!

Female only floor, very secure and for a compact space it has everything you need - fridge, tv, bed of course. Bath was also great it had everything plus toilets have bidet and heated. For this price its so good for the value!

Dryers did not dry wet clothes properly, waste of money. There was a strange smell in the corridor - probably some cleaning agent....

The stuff doesnt know much about tourist attractions in the area. I think its because this is more a hotel for business travellers. There is a tourist info at taipei main station that can help!
