Good location. There a hello kitty 7-11 opposite the hotel and Xi Men Ding is just 1 street across.

• The TV in the suite room. 😞 You can't watch TV while laying on the bed. • They closed the main door, hence it's quite inconvenient for us to walk a big round to enter the hotel especially on raining days with our luggage.

The location was perfect for getting around Taipei by foot, bus, or MRT and also the rest of Taiwan, including the airport, by train. It is also right next to Ximending, so you are right in the centre of historic Taipei, shopping and street food. The hotel room was spacious and breakfast was excellent. The rate was reasonable for Taipei. Each floor had an ice and drinking water machine to fill our water bottles.

Only one side of the bed had a bedside table with charging points, whose power supply is strangely turned off when you turn off the main overhead lights in the room.

The room was large and basic with all the necessities. The shower curtain was dirty and upon our request it was changed immediately. The front desk staff was very friendly and most helpful and despite language barriers sometimes, we were able to communicate. We were able to get a room, for a fee, for the last day as our plane was leaving at midnight. It was very much appreciated.

The breakfast was Chinese dishes with a few Western options. The breakfast room and the hallways were very cold. The bed and pillow were a little hard for my liking.

The hotel is located in one of the busiest parts of Taipei City - Ximen. There are so many restaurants and shops nearby. The MRT station is just within 5 minutes walk with an underground walkway entrance just 1 minute from the hotel. We could also find some local small restaurants and fruit stalls nearby.

The breakfast choice is much less than the other hotels we stayed in this trip but overall still be sufficient if guests love local food.

We were really pleased with our stay at the Taisugar as it is a very nice hotel, handy for metro,bus and train to the airport. The staff were friendly,and the service at the free breakfast was fantastic. Thank you to the entire team.

Everything is perfect, would love to come and book again on next visit to Taipei.

The location was very good. Right next to Ximending area and a metro station. Our room was spacious and quiet. The stuff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed with a plan with breakfast included. The coffee was good, but the options were a bit limited.

The property is clean and proper. Comfortable stay.

The breakfast selections need to be improved. Not much variety, and we get tired after the second day.

Location, location, location. It's near Ximending. The room is spacious. Water pressure is great.

There is no shelf for you to place shampoo and bath wash. I put them on the floor. Breakfast spread very ordinary.

Good location, in the hip Ximen district. Big YouBike station right outside hotel. Helpful staff. Good spread of food in buffet style breakfast, affordable lunch available for additional cost.

Room was a bit humid despite AC.
