This is a really great hotel for the value, one of the best I've stayed in Taipei. It's simple yet very well-designed. The staff were are all very friendly and helpful. The room (Superior Double Room) had a great layout with a lot of room, desk, small table, and nice bathroom with separate toilet and shower rooms. The water pressure and temp were also excellent. There is no closet, but there is a bar hanging from the ceiling with hangers, and there are also some pegs on the wall for coats. The breakfast was better than expected, even with some nice western options. The breakfast area is near the check in desk and there is free coffee and light snacks all day. The elevators are fast. And the location is perfect, just on the edge or Ximending, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the MRT Airport Express. There is no bar or restaurant, so if that if what you want, try another place. Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for value on a budget.

The breakfast area was very crowded every morning, but likely because of the lunar new year holiday. The staff did a great job managing the seating, though.

I would recommend this hotel if staying in Taipei as follows : 1. Location. Though hotel is so near center of ximengting, just cross a major road hence, not noisy. 2. Mrt at almost front of hotel - entrance 6. But do note there’s no lift nor escalator. Need to walk further at the centre of ximengting for another MRT entrance for young children or elderly people. 3. Breakfast varieties is good and main dishes almost different everyday. We stayed 3 nights. 4. Need not make special arrangements if going jiu-fen as there’s bus 965 (like tour bus) almost right in front of hotel. And one way trip is only TW9,000 per person. 5. Staff are all very friendly and always keen to help on any request made. 6. Snacks and drinks at lobby and good resting areas when checkout, waiting for transport.

Room is relatively small and tight for the one we stayed for 4 people.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Downstairs, literarily, you will find 7/11 and the entrance leading to MRT Ximen Station. The room was beautifully custom-designed, with much attention to detail - the color, the deco, the layout, the differentiation of toothbrush sets, even the hanging buttons were strategically located and beautifully made. Breakfast was excellent. The service, superb! We left 5 pieces of luggages to the front desk on our day of check-in before we headed out. Upon returning, the luggages were in our room already. Couldn’t find anything unsatisfactory or not meet or exceed our expectation during our stay. A wonderful hotel indeed!

Fantastic location near train station and the heart of Ximending. Modern lobby for guest to chill with complimentary biscuits and coffee. Family room (2 queen beds) was decent sized. Self service laundry facility great for my family.

Initially booked a twin room but disliked the bed layout (bed were facing each other in one straight line instead of side by side), had no choice but to upgrade to a family room with 2 queen beds. Toilet bowl for both my family rooms (918, 926) were stuck. Hotel fixed it efficiently. However, to my dismay, they left a note informing me that if the toilet continues to be stuck, I’ll be liable for the repair charges. Me and my family have been to many hotels prior to Covid. This is the first time I encounter a stuck toilet bowl for both my rooms. Yet, the hotel thinks that guest should be liable for repair charges if it occurs again. I’m quite disappointed with how the hotel manages such issues.

This hotel is so hip and cool! Location was perfect, very near the Ximending night market! Loved the breakfast given also that it was a small premium to pay vs the no bfast option. There was a good variety each day. What we loved the most was that we were given a comfortable place to wait for our early morning departure. We were still welcome even if we already checked out! There were snacks, drinks, ice cream, a good sized comfort room to freshen up, entertainment (tv, games, comfy lounge areas) and a big area to repack our luggage after last minute shopping.

Would appreciate if there is a shelf to put our clothes in the shower area so we don’t have to open the door to get our clothes outside. We could hear the laughter, voices and other noise from the room beside us.

The hotel's location (5 mins walk to Ximending and less than 10 mins walk to the metro) was great. As we booked a room for 3 person, the room was big and there was even an area to eat and chill other than our beds. We especially love the hotel lobby area as they have free and unlimited hot and cold water for us to refill our bottles, coffee from coffee machine and snacks. The area was also nice and relaxing for guests to bring our own food to eat and chill. They also provided ice cream for us during the tea break hours and brought out sensory toys for the kids to play. The service from their staffs were excellent as they surprised us with birthday celebration decoration with a bottle of wine in the room. They even helped to keep our cake in their fridge for a few hours for our own birthday surprise celebration in the room. They also had a laundry room with washing and dryer machine, and guests could also take some ice water from the machine. We really enjoyed our stay in Just Sleep Ximending Hotel and will definitely be back if we plan another trip to Taipei. Thank you so much!

The food selection for breakfast could be better. Maybe can allow early check-in so guests who took the morning flights could check in earlier to rest. Other than that, the hotel is fantastic :)

Just Sleep is our best choice for this trip so far. Hotel lobby is basically a lounge area where you can rest and relax while waiting for your laundry to be done. Laundry is free, just need to purchase the detergent powder for NTD10/pack. They provide refillable drinks and snack area. You can also chill out in the lounge area while waiting for airport transfer pick up. Location is also fantastic, walking distance to eateries and popular Ximending area. Easily accessible to metro station. Staff are very friendly and helpful, providing assistance whenever possible and very polite. Just Sleep Ximending will always be our 1st option for all our future travel to Taipei. ❤❤

Basically nothing!!

Super lovely staff. Great location. Super convenient. Decent breakfast. Room was bigger than I expected and modern. Great 711 downstairs.

The bed was quite hard. The free laundry machines are a good idea but some of my clothes have black marks on now. Luckily not super noticeable. I didn't realise our room didn't have a window (it did but it faced a corridor so no natural light). As a side note, they do charge quite a bit for early check in. It cost us over half of the room rate to check in early after an overnight flight (they did forewarn us about this) so something to keep in mind if that's important for you.

We liked the decor and the room. The rooms were quite spacious and clean, and the beds could be shifted together. The hotel had washing machines and dryers which we could use for free too! We love the lounge/ lobby area, which also doubled as a breakfast place. Free cold drinks and coffee/tea could be taken any time, and there were some wooden toys/games that my kids enjoyed too. We liked that there was a play area on the 8th floor too! The breakfast was great! I did not expect such a nice breakfast for a small-ish hotel. But the food was really good standard, like they had kimchi pork and teriyaki sea bream. As it was Duan Wu Jie, they even had mini rice-dumplings! I wished we could have gone for a second breakfast. As our flight was really early, they kindly also arranged for a packed breakfast which consists of 3 pieces of assorted bread/bun, an apple and a packet of apple juice, which was really more than enough. The location is excellent too, we could walk to Ximending in a few minutes and many things to explore too. The staff are friendly too, and customer service is good too.

Actually it’s perfect! It’s one of our favourites so far and I can’t wait to try out other Just Sleep hotels in other parts of Taiwan

Value for money. Staff are attentive and very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast spread and the beds were firm and room is clean. Could ask for alternative pillow firmness for one that suits you.. The location is great, and there is food and ample amenities all around.

Think the lift lobby at ground floor leading up to the 5th Hotel lobby could do with a spruce up. There was a strong stench of urine near the ground floor entrance.
