Location is the best. Right at the beach. There are some fishing boats parked in front of the hotel but it is not disturbing and if you walk 5 mins you find a lovely part of the beach for swimming. Hotel staff is excellent, friendly and kind, always smiling and helpful. We felt safe and looked after. There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel. We also enjoyed the food and the drinks.

Very kind staff, always helpful and very social. Beautiful hotel next to the beach with a really good location. Outside the hotel an autentic look with local people and Villages which is supernice. The all inklusive is really good.food is high quality and the swahili theme every ssturday and wednesdsy is amazing. We were there 10 days all inklusive with kids and it was definetly one of the best hotels Ive stayed in. I would recommend everybody to stay in this hotel.

Everything was good. If I have to say a few things is that the bed is not the most comfortable. Maybe a sofa could also be added in the bedroom.

We have never been treated more like "queen and king" in any hotel in our life than in this resort. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. All the staff is just incredible. Highly personal connection between staff and guests (which you don't find very often on Zanzibar, mostly the people are highly friendly but rather distant). They did everything for us - be it a special wish for a dish for dinner we had tried elsewhere on the island (Zanzibar pizza), be it the INCREDIBLE beach-side dinner they prepared as a surprise just for us for a special occasion - without extra charge. We were and still are shocked at this incredible level of friendliness and service at this resort. Thank you all so much. We have seen negative rewiews regarding the location or activities provided. We did very much like the beach area here, it was rather secluded and not as busy as in Nungwi and the rest of Kendwa. We anyway recommend every traveler to rent a car, even on Zanzibar - completely safe and no issues at all.

At this increidbly low price point, there is really nothing to criticise. If you paid double (as in most comparable resorts around, you might expect more furnitures in the room which is rather functional - but not at this super good price! All was good.

The staff is absolutely amazing and so helpful. Trying to make their beat to make your stay comfortable. We had bad luck and got sick while there and the chef prepared chicken soup just for us.

The entertainment. It is for french speaking guest and for my taste it was to loud and the room is definitely not sound proof. Maybe consider providing ear plugs for your guests. But again we were sick and that’s we just wanted to sleep. And also the beach is not the best for swimming but there is a nice one just around the corner.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property always tried to make the stay special by arranging special events for dinner, like beach parties, masai dances etc. They also arranged a special candlelit private dinner for us on the beach. Good location and great vibe and view. Manager Paul checked in every day if we were fine and his team was fantastic.

If I have to recommend one thing for improvement, it would be the bed. The side bars are too high to comfortably get out of bed and the headboard is inconvenient. Everything else was good

My girlfriend and I stayed at this resort in Zanzibar for two weeks, and we had an absolutely amazing time. The hotel was beautiful and spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every meal and truly felt at home. Aggrey, along with the rest of the wonderful staff, really went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. He even organized a stunning private dinner for us on the beach, which I highly recommend to anyone staying here. All the excursions we booked through the hotel were reasonably priced and went off without a hitch. Everything was well organized and smooth. The resort deserves a full 5/5 stars. It was a diverse place with guests from all over the world, including France, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Africa, and the UK. A big shoutout to the French General Manager and the office crew for arranging a breathtaking room with an incredible sea view!

Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the staff bent over backwards to help in every way they could! I was travelling alone with my 10 year old son, and i couldn't have felt more taken care of and safe! You also get a complimentary 25 min massage, which i ended up extending to an hour and booing another as these were wonderful!

Food choices were not very extensive.....although we were only B&B ordered lunch from the restaurant most days, but the menu's limited but tasty! Rooms could do with having full length mirrors! Beach is beautiful but i was saddened by the amount of plastic and rubbish along the shore!

What we experienced is very close to what other guests described in their reviews, so here everything is fair. But the photos cannot convey all the beauty. Kendwa is the best beach for those who would like to be close to nature with romantic trail of quiet sunsets. Retreat. The fishing boats in front of the hotel organically fit into the overall landscape. The pleasant entry into the water is a little to the right. No crowd at all. The diversity of offered healthy dishes and the drinks was enough not to wish going outside to look for smth else. The desserts are beyond the praise! Absolute cleanliness is everywhere: in the room, common places, on the beach, at the restaurant. Just friendly faces are everywhere. I would also note thematic evening events with cultural insights and spectacular job of animators. I got here what I came for. Total relax. Hakuna Matata. Daisy said: „You are in good hands“. Excellent staff, warm and genuinely nice people that did their best to assure that everyone is enjoying their stay. Overall, a great value for money.

During our stay, there seemed to be some issues with the water, being stopped a few times per day. After 1-2h it would be back to normal, but not great to have this right when you arrive in the room, ready for a shower after being in the pool or beach/ocean. Still, not a major thing and I'm sure that the staff will improve this or it was temporary during the week we were there.

The hotel is completely renovated and impeccable spotless and you can see clearly that they take care of every detail.  As soon as we arrived it gave us an amazing impression, much better than in the pictures on the website.  The welcome was very warm and we were offered an upgrade to the room with a sea view , it was a very pleasant surprise.  The room was taken care of with care and every day there were fresh flowers.  The food was delicious and the attention of the restaurant staff, managed by Miss. Gift was exquisite, they were constantly looking out for us so that we didn’t lack anything and always with a big smile.  An special mention to the barman for their amazing Dawa cocktail and the Hibiscus juices in the breakfast buffet. They gave us very pleasant moments. The waiters were very kind,polite and warm. They always do their best in order to please us, so enthusiastic in their job that you can feel it.  After a short time it was like eating at home, a very familiar and comfortable atmosphere.  The beach was spectacular, something to take into account since in Zanzibar not all the beaches are heavenly.  Finally our most sincere congratulations to the managers Mr. Joseph and Mr. Mubarak for the enormous work done to take care of the client and make them spend an unforgettable vacations, we will definitely come back.  THANK YOU!!!
