The location, the pool and the overall feel of the property is very calm and nice even though it’s not next to the beach.

The breakfast options are very limited and it’s little hard to make the staff understand what you need as they find it hard to understand English but can be managed

This was my second stay here. On my request in the same room I stayed in last time. I was there three years ago right before covid and the staff still remembered me and made me feel very welcome :) My room was spacious with direct pool access from my balcony and jacuzzi bench in the pool. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has a good shower. The minibar is empty nowadays but there is a 7-Eleven only two minutes from the hotel to stock the fridge up. Breakfast is decent with fresh fruits, croissants, bread, toast, yoghurt, various Thai dishes, juices (not fresh but delicious still), coffee, tea and milk. Miss Nanny is there every morning to take your order and she makes sure that you lack nothing. During happy hour at the pool bar Nanny oversees everything and even made us a White Russian even though that was not on the cocktail menu. Also a big thanks to Katie, she oversees front office and housekeeping and she made us feel so very much at home. She's the best! The pool is clean, and has a good watertemperature and I can really recommend a room with direct pool access. I will most definitely come again and enjoy the great hospitality of Krabi La Plays

Nothing basically. You get a nice comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. The fitness room is small. Some cardio equipment and some light weights, don't expect much of that. However, about 2 mins from the hotel there is a massive gym called Heroic Fitness Club. I can highly recommend it.

The resort location is ideal. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the main beach and long tail boat pier. There are so many restaurants and massage stores nearby, but it is tucked away from the main streets to offer a quiet and enjoyable space for its guests. It has three pools which are well maintained and clean. The highlight is the happy hours the resort offers every evening. Our room is very clean and spacious with all the facilities that we need. My special thanks to Kate who checked us out on the last day. She was warm and cheerful. She went an extra mile by not only organising a transfer to the lier for us but also contacted our next resort in Railay Beach for them to pick us up from the correct pier in Railay. When we finally arrived in Railay, evening was prearranged. Thank you so much Kate! Will definitely recommend La Playa to anyone who wants to stay in Ao Nang for your next holiday.

After initial confusion with room booked, the stay was very good. Breakfast, pool facilities were very nice. I would recommend that the staff orientate guests a little bit better about things like the Night Market, how to go island hopping - especially for those are not in group tours. The staff were friendly and helpful. The manager in the restaurant kept everyone on their toes. Other guests also enjoyed their stay from what we could see. The bag with towels for the beach came in very handy. It is in a good location.

Someone made allot of noise on the floor above us - they jumped up and down. The room only had two pillows for 3 people.

our first room was on ground floor near reception ( I asked for low floor so my error) = lovely room but shaded balcony with plants and vegetation /garden view.We moved when space became available to second floor to a lovely sunny balcony. They could do with more sun beds - they were all gone by 0900 and there was space available - a few more did appear as we were leaving.

Great location, a short walk to the main street with all the restaurant and shops, etc. Spacious room, comfortable bed.

Air condition is extremely loud, so at night it is hard to sleep, but after we got used to it. Sound isolation is not perfect, you can hear your neighbour. We took the room with the private pool which was nice, becaus we saw that at the big pool of the hotel there was a competiiton in the morning already to take a sunbed. So at the private pool we did not have that problem, although the water was quite cold. At breakfast the employee at the door usually asked as at least twice what is our room number, in a harsh way, which was annoying.

We stayed in a pool access room with a spa outside accessed from the balcony for 10 nights. We loved the room which was spacious, modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was included and there was a good variety of foods available.

The TV in the room was dated. The balcony would be better if they had sun lounges rather than one day bed.

Staff were great. Particulatly, Wan on the tour desk, who has bumped the score up, as she was amazing. So helpful when we had a problem with our next hotel and she went out of her way to try to resolve it. Also, she was amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you again! Pool access room was cool, and the main pool itself was nice. Room was good and WiFi fast. Good fridge and bathroom well stocked with toiletries. Beach towels, beach mat and beach bag were a nice touch, as were the umbrellas. Really comfy beds and pillows. Lots of plugs.

Air conditioning was a bit loud Breakfast was very poor, hence not a 10. Beer at pool bar (open sporadically) wasn't cold The Squid Games-esque music in the lift was just nuts. I wasn't sure what awaited me when the lift opened.

Our favourite hotel in the whole of Thailand. the staff were incredible so welcoming and friendly and super helpful. we decided to upgrade to the spa pool and pool access room on the day of check in and would highly recommend this it was AMAZING! the food at breakfast was perfect and good choice. The swim up pool bar was great the staff were exceptional and we loved the happy hour of 2 for 1 cocktails. great location close to everything in Krabi it was perfect. Thank you!
