The resort has many facilities: clean pools, beach in front, bars, supermarkets. The buffet from Chom Talay restaurant it is so good. Everything is clean.

It would be fair to mention that Bhuri Wing part is old, floors, room and bathroom smell old (like someone smoked inside some years ago).If I knew it before reservation, definitely I was choosing a room in the other building. Some people from staff are friendly, some not. A lot of mosquitoes outside ( it will be nice to prevent this).

the Katathani Resort is perfectly located on the KataNoi Beach and has everything you need to enjoy and relax on your holiday. There is a little town just outside the resort, so if you want some other items, or do more shopping it is so close. The resort itself has very friendly caring staff who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The food is beautiful at each of the restaurants (Italian, Thai & Worldwide flavour cuisines). The spa and nail salon staff are just lovely and so gentle, that you can't do anything else but relax. Then let's not forget the abundance of swimming pools, including adult and children type pools, so each can swim the way they want, and next to each of the 6 pools is an abundance of comfortable pool lounges and plenty of umbrellas. Near the pools are bars for drinks (which they delivered to your pool lounge) and easy/snack food. For entertainment, there are shops, a kids playground, Boule course, Tennis courts across the road, games room, gym, media room, and beach activities. So in all a perfect location with everything you need. We will certainly be returning!!!!

Rude guests, and guests who were condescending to staff. There is no excuse for such bad manners and ignorant behaviour. The staff go out of their way to help you, and ensure you are comfortable. They do their very best, but some guests believe in treating staff as servants, and this is an unacceptable practice today in any country.

Location, cleanliness, food, exceptional staff

We are an adult family of 7 and it was hard to find a quiet place, there was a quiet pool but it wasn’t attended and because there were lots of young kiddies around they obviously liked to be in it!

Very nice hotel to visit with smaller children. We have 3 year old and he absolutly loved this hotel. Nice kids pool, good variation of food for children also. Beach is near and it was clean. Hotel is located in quiet area, also away from town, but you can reach the town by tuk tuk or taxi. We loved that there was a small shop in the hotel area with good prices.

Very bad cleaning in the rooms. Floors were very durty. Hotel needs to change mattresses in the beds. They are old and have bowls inside, people with backpain can't sleep on them. Prices at the pool bars for beer and coctails are too pricy for Thailand.

Staff was kind and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. We appreciated the beach bag of the room and generous amount of beach towels. Breakfast was very good and loads of stuff to choose from. We loved the crispy bacon and the Eggman. =) Great pool areas,especially the mini waterpark where our 1,5 year old boy loved to be.

A bit pricey, but I guess it still was worth it. Air con was a bit tricky, always woke up freezing no matter how adjusted. Nevertheless, no need for minuses

Location, breakfast

I booked a room with sea view, i thought i get a room on the 2nd or 3 rd floor but i was given a room on the 1st floor with partial sea view in the last building of the property so we had to go 15 minutes on foot to have breakfast . Tropical shower didn’t work. We had very late check in at 12 in the night and we had sleeping kid also we had a booking just for 2 days thats why I didn’t go to reception complaining about room, all we just wanted was sleeping. Paid almost 1K usd, I thought it would be more price quality worth

the property was in impeccably Clean condition . we stayed in the Bhuri wing and the rooms have recently had a facelift . the couple of little shops next to the property were extremely handy for daily essentials and massages .

The advertised shuttle bus to Patong nightly only ran if 6 people were on board and as a travelling couple to Patong by taxi was quite expensive. Not that you go to watch tv at night but the channels were poor and sometimes to just chill and watch a movie in the room would have been great but there was no English channels except BBC news and national geographic .

The hotel itself is really big with lots to do especially with small kids. The bedroom was very spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good enough variety of food. Loved all the pools and lots of shade. Everything within the hotel can be charged to your room which is great not having to carry money around. Spa was good and reasonably priced. The beach is great. We had no problems with the wifi.

Yes, town is a little far out, but catching a taxi is really easy. Nothing else.

right on the beach with direct access to the beach. value for money. amazing breakfast right on the beach. huge and beautiful resort with 7 pools. great for kids with many activities (indoor kids club). eateries nearby. massage on the beach within the hotel. super relaxed atmosphere. food varieties for all taste. it’s a quiet resort! we came for the beach - it’s a nice and big one but the waves and current were too strong during the rainy season so had only limited swimming possibilities. but i guess during dry season it would be top! rooms are very very big! can easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids due to the room separator and the sofabed making it almost a two-beds room! really loved the rooms. we booked 2 connecting rooms and had plenty of spaces - we were 3 adults, 2 children and 1 toddler.

it was for its size quite under-staffed and service was okay but nothing exceptional especially reception and management. f&b staff ok and friendly as usual.

amazing facilities, particularly the pools and play areas. loved the manicured lawns and how child friendly the experience was.

didn’t like that all of the sun lounges were reserved from very early in the morning
