I travelled with my son to Bangkok, it was maybe our 30th time in the city. We loved this place. The breakfasts were amazing, some of the best food of the trip. The room was comfortable, had great aircon, a good shower and everything we needed in this gorgeous old building. A fantastic neighbourhood, walking distance to just about everywhere and a bunch of convenience stores/ food outlets right up the street. No traffic, just cats!

Accommodation was very clean and cute. Staff were super kind and helpful. They will communicate with google translate if you ask questions (you need to use it too). But I felt their kindness. It was in a residential area so it was quiet as well.

I noticed that noise travels very easily so if you have noisy customers staying during your stay, it may keep you up. But it is wooden building so what can you expect.

Baankachitpan Bangkok Hotel is, in our opinion, probably the perfect base from which you can start exploring Bangkok/Thailand. It is located close to the busy streets and facilities of Khao San Road, but once you reach the hotel, peace and quiet take the upperhand. There are shared bathrooms which get cleaned regularly by the kind staff ladies. Which by the way are always happy to help you in any way they can. Rooms are tidy and our sheets got changed every two days. Also, the breakfast is served on a long table on the ground floor. This way you can have some nice social interaction with your fellow travelers. That is if the host lady doesn’t come up to you first to ask about your plans for that dat before she heads of to work :). We guess you could say that, while staying in te guesthouse, you become part of a nice little cosy family. In other words: we highly recommend this accommodation!

Nothing worth mentioning.

Nestled in a quiet part of the old town, Baan Kachitpan is a cosy and homely guesthouse. Breakfast, which changed every day, was really delicious and easily my favourite part of the stay. Our room was nice and clean and the housekeepers were super friendly. I liked the surrounding neighbourhood as well: it's quiet and homely, yet only a short distance away major historical attractions like the Grand Palace and the Golden Mount. The area also had a lot of cute cafes/eateries and bars with nice craft beer. Will definitely return to stay for my next trip to Bangkok!

The place is run by a family. They were all very friendly and offered great hospitality. They offered us delicious home cooked meals for breakfast. Apart from being pretty, our room was clean and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay here. :)

The building is beautiful and the owners/staff were friendly and helpful. My room was a good size, the bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Shared bathrooms were clean. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Chicken curry and rice with a fried egg. Coffee and some fresh fruit. Delicious!

I got a bit lost trying to find the place. It's a few hundred metres down an alleyway. Thankfully a friendly local pointed me in the right direction.

The location was ideal. Grand Palace, markets and other must see places were in walking distance yet the hotel was peacefully tucked away down a side street. A calm oasis. Beautiful ambience, the staff are so lovely and the hotel very homely.

Nice stay near to Khaosan road. The owners are really friendly and guide you around to restaurants/tips/things to do etc. Breakfast was also nice with plenty of coffee refills.

If you get a room upstairs it's a bit of a hike with the luggage, pack small. To get to the accommodation there's a narrow alley that only scooters can go on, so factor this in when booking.

A nice house in an interesting place with a history you can feel in the air. The owner and workers were very friendly and kind. The breakfast was simple but tasty.

The house is wooden, which gives it a special atmosphere, but due to that, you can also hear your neighbours and voices from the outside.

I was looking for a quiet and calm area, where i can start my trip through thailand and can recover from the long flight. Turns out that this place was the right choice. I really loved how nice the owner were, altough i came after 8pm for the checkin. I also loved the vibe of the street, full of baby cats and realy lovely people. I highly recommend you the place.
